She has done volunteer work at our local zoo, and has collected supplies for our local animal shelter. She has a pet Pomeranian-poodle and 2 cats, which she lovingly cares for. She takes on the responsibilities of keeping food and water available for the animals, cleaning litter boxes, walking the dog and keeping the pets well groomed. She would be an excellent choice for a dog sitter and caregiver.”

She was very helpful and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions. Usually, I send my dog to a boarding facility but thought I'd give a sitter in a home environment a try. Not only was it less expensive but my dog absolutely enjoyed his time with Cynthia and her family. Cynthia kept me updated on my dog's activities and also shared multiple photographs with me each day. I could tell my dog was comfortable but enjoyed his time away. About: I've always had a dog and I've had a cat for 8 years. I have house sat for neighbors multiple times and they have relied on me and trusted me. I will not let you down! I have recently finished up classes for graduate school and am looking to make some new furry friends while I wait to graduate! Am currently available most days except Friday mornings! I am very gentle and I am slow to let a dog sniff me and come to me first rather than come up to them and possibly scare them. I am familiar with training dogs, as I have trained my own and have also attended training classes so I am familiar with common commands and how they are used, if needed.

“Nancy was a spectacular sitter for my senior dog who can be quirky and somewhat unpredictable in new settings. She was eager to communicate with me frequently about how things were going...and quite patient in learning to interpret my dog's talking style (i.e. sporadic whining). I can imagine my dog was quite a challenge, considering how my dog would alternate between thinking she is child, i.e. eager to be scooped up and carried, --but sometimes struggling with arthritic limbs. Nancy was an absolute dog whisperer. I so appreciated her kindness, understanding and gentle approach..and the wonderful care she extended to my Masala.”
