“Carmen was kind and understanding with our dog. And overall just seems like a very nice person. She worked with us on dropoff and pickup and was pretty flexible. Figo seemed to have a lot of fun with her. She has a nice house and overall it seemed she lived in a dog friendly neighborhood so definitely recommend boarding with her.”

“We left our Jack Russell Terrier Mix with Casey for 10 days, and I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. Casey took great care of our dog, and constantly provided updates and pictures throughout the week. She also took her on tons of walks and Casey’s dog and our dog became great friends and playmates as well. Our dog is not the easiest dog to deal with – she’s very reserved and not super friendly to people (or dogs) that she is not comfortable with. Casey (and her family) went above and beyond in making her feel comfortable and welcomed our dog into their home as if it was her own. We feel very lucky to have found someone in town that can care for our dog when we are away, and I highly recommend Casey!”

“Our two year old mixed breed shelter pup stayed with Hailey for two nights and came home tired and happy. It was our first time boarding her and I was nervous because she can be high maintenance (not well leash trained, jumps on/barks at people, etc.). But Hailey was easy to communicate with, flexible about drop-off/pick up times, and sent me pictures of Maple playing with her foster dog, which put my mind at ease. Her fenced-in yard is great for the pups to run and play!”

About: I am an experienced dog and cat owner who would like to help you with your fur baby! I mostly have experience with large and giant breeds (since that is what I have owned) but I am open to helping with any size pet at long as they are friendly. Because I have young children, for clients who need boarding services in my home, I can only accept dogs who are good with and used to children. I am usually available between the hours of 9-2 Monday though Friday and on the weekends with varying hours. If interested, please reach out for availability and I will do the best I can to accommodate! I am happy to come let your dog out, take them for a walk, administer medications, clean litter boxes and give your dog or cat attention or some tlc so they are not lonely.

“I'm only hours home from my trip, but made it my first priority after unpacking to review my experience with Trisha and Dan, who "pet-sat" our dog Piper this weekend. Piper is attached at the hip to my wife. He was a dog that was found abandoned on the street, abused, and has a bit of what we think us PTSD. He gets VERY nervous if you are not right at his side, cannot stay alone, etc. Unfortunately my cousin suddenly passed away and were needed a dog sitter so we could attend services out of state. Very nervous that it would be hard on Piper to be without us, (and knowing we couldn't put him a kennel-type environment with his anxious personality), we spent hours on DogVacay looking for the perfect host. Trisha got back to us within minutes (talk about professional!). She was so awesome and detailed, and we knew right then that Piper would be in good hands. Piper stayed with Trish and her husband in their gorgeous home in a safe, quiet neighborhood (with a fenced in backyard) for 2 days, and they were excellent at communicating with his. They're such good people- so kind and friendly and love animals. Piper is now home (though I'm not sure he wants to be!) I've said jokingly "Piper- Do you want to go back to Trisha, Dan, and Stout's house?" and his ears perk up and the tail starts wagging. They are the best of the best, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We are forever grateful to them for taking Piper on such short notice and taking such good care of him!”
