About: I am a college student at Franklin and Marshall currently living with a dog I adopted almost two years ago. I grew up with dogs at home, and have worked and lived with many different animals including monkeys, snakes, turtles, mice, rats, lizards, dogs, cats, fish, and birds. I have done lots of animal care in my time from walking dogs to cleaning snake enclosures. My experience level varies depending on the animal, but I am quite capable of picking up your pets routine and taking care of them as though they were my own. I have a genuine love for animals and a passion for working with them, so it was be a treat to spend my free time taking care of your beloved pets. I am free before 8am Monday-Thursday and after 12:30pm Monday-Thursday. Friday's vary for me, but I am usually available early in the morning and between 12-1:30pm. Weekends vary for me, but if we discuss times and schedules I would be happy to find something that works. I will not be hosting day care or pet sitting in my own home as I am living in off-campus rental housing, and can only have my dog in the apartment.

“Wow Missy is fantastic, she sent me messages before we took our dog over to make sure we were OK with everything. Made sure to introduce the dogs in a safe and controlled manner. Spent time with us settling our 1st time nerves and then sent updates and pictures the whole time Artemis was there. Our dog had a fantastic time and I think given the choice she would have stayed longer. We will definitely be going back and I will look at dropping her off for day care once a month at least to keep the friendship between the dogs going and make sure Artemis is excited to go over. About: i’ve taken care of dogs of pitbulls and smaller breeds since 2017! animals can sense the good energy in people and the animals i have taken care of love being around me. over the summer my availability open more since i take days off work so your pup would have so much fun hanging out with me while getting taken care off! i love nature so i would love to take him around on parks,walks,hikes i also love to take them on a swim and enjoy with them. i love keeping animals company not making them feel lonely or make them nervous to be around me i love to make them feel safe give them love and peace i also love to play with them and if the dog is being taken care off in my home i do have a fence yard so he can run freely

“Vasumathy is such a loving and knowledgeable dog sitter. She took care of our golden doodle for the weekend and she was absolutely fabulous about all the aspects of dogcare. She also gave us great insights about dogfood and some great tips. When I met gattu on Sunday afternoon for pick ups, he was calm and content which showed that he was safe and was in good hands. We will definitely use Vasumathy again for our future vacations!”

If you need special attention for your dogs I am the one to give it. ***Now offering one time poop pick up separate visits for cleaning only this spring and summer. This extra fee is $17 for cleaning your whole yard so it’s ready to enjoy in the sunny season. I will collect as much poop as I find in 30min and dispose in your trash barrel or as per your instructions. I work in my home office usually at night making jewelry, it’s when I most get inspired. I found my favorite job though is taking care of your animals when you’re away. I realize I’m meant to be in service to others. Knowing I’m helping you by caring for your pet is very fulfilling to me. I’m also an astrologer so I know this is my darma to juggle both careers . I usually am out each weekday once in the morning for walks and sometimes at lunch for check ins. I offer Doggy Daycare on occasion in my home too. Your pup will get at least 1 walk and also two times out in my back yard to play in fresh air at daycare. About every other weekend I’m home to help you with your needs like dog sitting in your home or mine overnights. I have two floors in my home, a main floor and a finished basement level that I work out of. I have crates available for dogs that need them when I step out to do check appts. Your dog will be well loved and exercised. I love walking the neighborhood so daily walks and playtime. I enjoy cooking breakfast/ brunch “eggs” for a natural treat for your dog. Cuddle time after lunch and possibly another walk in the afternoon or play in the backyard. digs are on a leash always outside.
