Baba made herself at home, exploring Anna's main floor and upstairs. She has a larger, friendly, high energy dog. Anna's dog was a great playmate for my dog. “Shelley was amazing with our dog. She even did some research on our not so popular breed so that she was prepared for our puppy's overnight stay. Shelley was very thorough in her care for Dixie, explained how she would introduce her safely to her other pets, and how she would keep them separated if they didn't get along. Our dog loved her pets and got lots of energy out playing with them and Shelley. We received pictures and videos and knew Dixie was in very good and informative hands. Would definitely recommend Shelley to anyone who needs to have their pet cared for!”

She keeps dogs active, cats entertained and ensures that they are all comfortable. She has experience with giving medications too which makes her a great choice for your animals that have daily prescription needs. Her heart is one of gold and she gives all the love she has to the animals in her care. She even ensures that if you have specific rules for your pets like no dogs on the bed for example that those rules are followed to ensure that your pet doesn’t learn any bad habits while you are away. Having her watch your pet is as worry free as it gets, it’s better than having them stay in a boarding home because they get individual attention and they aren’t crated all day long.”

About: I have had animals since I was a baby and I’ve taken care of them for as long as I can remember. I have 2 fur babies of my own and I treat them as if they’re my children. I love animals. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was young, from pet sitting for neighbors to taking care of my own pets. I have had cats and dogs in my home since before I can remember and now have two dogs of my own. I just recently finished up volunteering at the local zoo to help feed and take care of the animals. I am currently off for the summer, so I will have plenty of time to walk and play with your pet whenever you need it! I have two friendly dogs to keep your pup entertained, their names are Benson and Remington. I have a crate in my home if that helps your pet feel safe or they are able to stay out. We typically go for 3-4 walks per day.

“I was so nervous to leave my baby girl, Ginger, with a stranger for a week. However, Jacob was great. His dog was so friendly and he and Ginger got along wonderfully. I got updates and pictures. Jacob always returned my messages when I was feeling worried or guilty. When we picked Ginger up, she was excited to get back home, but I could tell she missed Jacob and R. too. About: I’ve had a dog since I was six years old and have always been so into taking care of him and going for walks with him! I am currently unemployed because my immune system I can’t be around too many people right now. I will have all my time and attention focused on your pups! About: I’ve worked as a boarding and daycare supervisor for the top daycare/boarding agencies in Des Moines for 3+ years. I worked for Stylin Paws Play Place and Downtown Doggy Daycare. I sat for neighbors and friends growing up. I’ve also worked in the caregiving field for 8+ years. I’ve worked in senior care, as well as with children with developmental disabilities. I’m currently out of town taking care of my grandparents, after my grandfathers open heart surgery. He’s in a stable place so my availability is all day, each day of the week. I only have classes on Saturday and Sunday from 4pm-5pm but those are done over zoom. I have more than enough time and love to go around! I promise I will provide your pets with a safe, caring, loving environment. Whatever you ask, I will do my best to provide.
