About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I am an empty nester and would love to care for your four legged family members while you are away. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have had taken care of many of my own personal pets and family pets. I have gone over to feed them and watch over them while the owners are out of town and also been in charge of giving them their medicine. I love dogs and I like playing with them. I see them as people too so I like talking to them and making a new friend. I am available most of the time since I only have a part-time job. About: I have lived with dogs my whole life! From Pomeranians and Shih Tzus to Rottweilers and Pyrenees. I also have cats! I’m currently in Nevada City with my Shih Tzu, Radio, for temp work, but I used to live in the area and would love another reason to stick around. I am a remote worker for a professional pet sitting service back in Nashville, TN where I am also the event manager for Rescue Puppy Yoga. Prior to this, I worked at The Farmer’s Dog where I learned a lot of about dog health and nutrition. Though I do admin work remotely, I do walk dogs and pet sit frequently in Nashville as well. I am Pet CPR certified and have multiple FetchFind Certifications in addition to that. I’ve been working in the pet industry for as long as I can remember, and I have been a dog walker/pet sitter since a young teen. Sometimes through word of mouth, but I have worked for professional services throughout my career as well. Pet care is all I do! My pet Radio just has to fit into that routine as well. I have 24/7 availability unless I am booked. I’m available to care for your pet for as much as you need given the scope of each service. While highly unlikely, the longest I would allow a pet to be alone is 4 hours when pet sitting.

About: I have owned and cared for pets my entire life. I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. I pride myself on being punctual, organized and reliable, and you can rest assured that your pet(s) and home will receive attentive and loving care. I am happy to take care of any additional tasks that you might need around your home while you're away (checking mail, taking out trash, watering plants/garden, etc. )

About: I’ve had pets my whole life so learned how to care for them early on. In addition I’ve taken care of tons of other pets for people, ie dogs, cats, lizards, chickens, sheep, pigs, cows. I currently have 8 dogs of my own of various breeds and sizes so I’m not intimidated by much. I’m very patient and love being able to help train young pets and care for senior pets. I have just finished school and am looking for a job in my field, but as of now have a very open schedule. I’m also very flexible with last minute jobs. I make sure to follow all rules set by pet owners and respect their wishes/boundaries. Making sure their pet is given what they need, get all the love and attention I can give during my visit, and taking care of any accidents or other things needing to be taken care of for them.

About: Offering a safe home away from home, compassionate care, and peace of mind for pet owners is something that all pet sitters should be offering. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I do the same with every animal that I am given care of, gently coaching them to be civil, furry companions while showering them with love. I am currently working from home and set my own schedule. I have a set daily morning and evening walk which your pup(s) will join. During the day, you pup(s) will have company of two dogs, three cats and plenty of pets from me. On weekends we go on adventure hikes. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company during the day. I have crates, leashes, grooming tools and home made dog beds for all pet care needs.

“Sasha dropped in on my dog Willow a few times this week and I could not have asked for a better person to take care of her. Willow is very nervous around strangers, generally very distrustful and defensive, but she seemed to connect with Sasha from the start at the meet and greet. Sasha was so sweet and understanding with her, never pushing Willow to interact more than she wanted to. When she dropped in, Sasha took Willow outside and played with her (sent me the most adorable video!!), refilled her water, gave her some treats, and cuddled with her on the couch. Before she left on the last day she even cleaned up some of Willow's toys, which I am always terrible about doing. It was such a sweet gesture when I myself was already nervous about someone coming over, it put me right at ease. ? Sasha was very communicative and went above and beyond dropping in on Willow and I couldn't be more grateful. I will definitely contact her again for future drop ins when I need them!”

About: I have been taking care of my own dog as well as pet sitting neighbors dogs since I was around 9 years old. I walked them and fed them twice daily and gladly spent some time giving them some love and playing with them. I then started working at horse stables, helping to feed them, clean stalls, take them out to graze, bathe them, and train them for years while taking riding lessons during the time as well. After that, I raised chickens at our home and was taking Agriculture and farm classes, and learning how to take care of the farm animals was a part of the course. During that time, I was also living on the mountain on a farm with an 100% pure wolf, a pit bull, two other dogs, and two other cats as well as taking care of the neighbors pigs, horse, and donkey. I have also have done volunteer work at animal shelters several times. I have always been an animal enthusiast and lover. Spending time with animals always fills up my heart with happiness :) I am available generally everyday, the times may vary, but I will always be able to discuss it with you and try to make a plan that works best for everyone. If they need to stay at my home, I have a fenced in yard as well as a crate in storage for small to medium size dogs if necessary and preferred. The animals will be staying inside my home and I will be around to let them in and out, feed them, and give them love! I live in a beautiful location surrounded by trees, trails, a lake, and a pond where I can take them out for walks/hikes everyday. They will get plenty of love here. Dogs are allowed on the furniture/bed only if they ask/are invited to. If you do not do that at your home, I will make sure to not allow that at our home either. If they are staying at your home, I am available any day for walks, visits to your home to feed and let them out, stay over while you are away, or whatever else you may need. I can work around what is best for everyone and discuss a schedule for what you need.

About: I've spent the last 4 years volunteering with Ruff Pack Refuge. RPR specializes with rescuing special needs and elderly dogs. My responsibilities included cleaning kennels, administration of medications, dog walking, fostering dogs, e.t.c. Over the past couple of years I have enjoyed pet sitting for friends and family. I am available all the time I have a very flexible schedule and I am sure we can figure something out via text or call... I have a fenced yard, nice neighborhood to walk around, and a large comfy and soft couch for anyone to lounge around and relax if needed
