About: I carry poop bags & treats on me at all times. I have common vet meds memorized. I own plastic syringes. I have carriers in my car. I’m on a group text list for emergency wildlife rescue. I spend my off hours volunteering at a shelter for cats that also spays/neuters dogs. lol, hi, I’m Eli. I will care for your pet with so much patience, empathy, care, space (if needed), cuddles (if they are asking for it), or whatever is appropriate. Animals can do no wrong out of evil or malice in MOH eyes, they just need guidance and love and help! My biggest flaw as a sitter is that I tend to over communicate as a baseline — usually out of confirming their health / safety first — but I can discern what is an emergency and send summarized updates (i.e. by night or by weekend if housesitting longterm, for example.) So feel FREE to set a boundary; you can’t hurt my feelings. Just let me know how to reach you (message or call) & for what. My husband care for our cats if I need to house-sit, otherwise, this is my full-time gig lately and I absolutely love it! It’s my calling. 🥰 I leave a place better than I found it; I am highly polite and respectful and would never disrespect a client’s home; I treat it like I’m a guest on my best behavior of course!

About: My name is Emma and am a recent law school graduate working in Ithaca. I grew up in Vermont with ducks, goats, sheep, chickens, cats, and dogs. As an adult, I love ANY AND ALL animals! I regularly run and hike (but I'm also not opposed to just vegging out). I regularly care for my parents’ German Sheppards. I have owned dogs that are super social and dogs that do not like other dogs. I feel confident in my ability to handle almost any size dog on a leash. I have experience handling dogs with mobility/spinal injuries, dogs that require in-home rehab such as water therapy, dogs that have issues with incontinence, dogs with anxiety, and more! I look forward to getting to know you and your animals!

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: Who better than a veterinarian to take care of your best buddies while you're away? I am a new DVM graduate, and am happy to take care of your pets, no matter how old or young, especially those with special needs! I am certified in dog/cat CPR, and am comfortable providing any care needed. *Please note*: My providing pet sitting/dog walking/pet care services does NOT constitute a VCPR, and I cannot provide medical advice unless a VCPR is explicitly established in accordance with NY State Law* I prefer to stay in the client's home especially for dogs as this is generally much more comfortable for the dog to stay in their own environment. For overnight stays, I like to meet the dogs beforehand with owners present. This way they are assured it is okay to have me in their space for staying with them.

About: I love animals of all kinds! Dogs are my favorite. I like them more than people. I had a Weimeraner for nearly 15 years and I miss him everyday. Dog sitting has been very theroputic for me. Im not working at this time. I'm out of work until further notice do to a repedative motion injury to my right arm. I am available Monday- Friday. I live in an apartment house located near a school. I have a back yard but it is not fenced in. It's a very nice area to walk dogs.

About: I've always been a dog owner since I was a young girl. I would watch/ walk my neighbors and family's dogs whenever they needed me to. I am Thorough and patient especially when it comes to our furry friends. I have a pretty open availability to care for your pups. I do work, but mostly from home. I am able to put plenty of time into your furry friends. I live in a community with plenty of sidewalks. I have a small little front yard and backyard as well. About: New to the Homer area - previously served neighbors in the Newfield, Ithaca, and surrounding areas! Available most weekdays nights, weekends, holidays, and summers. My wife and I tag-team our clients as best as we can (joint meet and greets, visits, and sometimes swap on and off if one of us is only available). We have a 4-year old mixed Terrier and two kitties. I have always grown up with animals and I can assure you that I will provide your pet with the same loving care as I would my own. I am flexible with services including home visits, walks, dog park, feedings, medication administration, etc. Overnight stays are difficult, but I am flexible in helping however possible with various drop ins and various hours if needed. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! Available most weekday nights, weekends, holidays, and summers. Flexible as much as possible and as needed, even with short notice. If you and your pet become consistent clients, we are extremely flexible with scheduling as best as we can accommodate. I provide as much love and care for your pet as I do my own. Although not accepting overnight stays in my home due to my own pets, I can absolutely use the same qualities and techniques within your own home.

About: I have cared for pets all of my life- from hamsters to parakeets to fish to cats to my parents German Shepherd! I now have an Irish doodle, Aurora, and a golden doodle, Blaze, who love new friends. My husband, Jordan, is also an avid dog lover, and his family raises Norwegian elkhounds; so between the two of us we have quite a bit of experience. The neighbors always know that they can leave their pets in our hands and not only will they be fed and cared for, but also receive lots of love and attention as well. I am able to do bathing/grooming when required, as well as administer medicine should the necessity arise. We have moved! We now live on Skinner Hill Road, Sempronius/ Moravia, about 12 minutes from our previous location on Salt Rd, Groton. Our family will be growing by one tiny human in October 2023, and I have quit my full time job in preparation of that! So, I now have extra time to give to your fur babies when they come to stay! At the Doodle & Kaboodle, we’re all about the dogs! I currently live in a large house in the country with my husband, Jordan, our daughter Arielle (born 2023), our Irish doodle, Aurora, and our golden doodle, Blaze. Our backyard is fully fenced with agricultural grade 5 foot fencing for lots of outdoor fun! The dogs also have free run of the downstairs of our home. Overnight, dogs are kept in crates. They may also be crated if they seem overstimulated or need a break from playing. However, they will spend the majority of their time playing freely with our dogs. If your pup is not accustomed to being crated, we will arrange a quiet place in the house for their down time. Tell me your dog’s schedule and I will do my best to replicate it. Dog pick up and drop off is between 8 am and 9 pm seven days a week. Drop ins and walks: I am now able to make a drop in or walk your pup any time, any day! Due to the increase in fuel costs, I can no longer travel more than 10 miles from home. I have raised my drop in/ walk prices as well to compensate for fuel; however, I have drastically lowered my “second dog fee” to help balance the price out for those of you who are lucky enough to have more than one dog. Males over 6 months must be neutered for safety reasons. Unspayed females are welcome. If your dog goes into heat while staying with us, I will do my best to care for her. However, I do not assume responsibility for accidental pregnancy. No dogs who have a history of being aggressive with dogs or people are accepted. For liability reasons, I am not able to keep pit bulls or any mixed breed pit bulls or staffordshire terriers in my home. All other breeds are welcome! For the healthy and safety of all dogs, every dog must be vaccinated against rabies, distemper, parvo, and bordetella, as well as be on an active flea/tick preventative, in order to stay in our home. We also require proof of a clean fecal test within the last 6 months to stay in our home. We appreciate your understanding that this is to keep everyone safe and healthy! When you decide to book, you are confirming that to the best of your knowledge your dog does not have any contagious health conditions including but not limited to parasites, giardia, ringworm, mange, and other skin conditions and parasites/worms. If your dog has an obvious illness when he/she arrives I reserve the right to turn him/her away for the health and safety for all other dogs in my care. If you are not sure if your dog may be ill, please tell me the symptoms before drop off so we can make a decision ahead of time. Please provide food, dishes, bedding, crate, leash, collar, and anything else your dog may need. If you are not able to bring a crate please let me know and I will see what I can do. I have a few extras but may not always have the size required. Every dog must have a buckle on collar or similar. Slip on leashes are not accepted. A collar with id tags is recommended. I have a tag with my phone number that I will attach to your dogs collar while staying with me if you are not able to provide one. Please note: all services require a meet and greet with the pet owner and pet before booking! Any questions, just ask! We can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member!

About: Hi! I have taken care of my friend’s dogs for 8 years, while they’re out of town or just at work, from puppies to adults, and it’s a lot of fun! I work full time with a food delivery service, but I’m all over town all day and can be super flexible on when I need to take breaks As far as safety goes, I always walk dogs on a leash, and treat them with the same love and care as if they’re my own. About: Hello! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I have two high energy German shorthair pointers of my own. We love going for walks and playing outside. I work remotely with a very flexible schedule. Everything I do in the day can be worked around pet care. Pets needs will come first I have a large yard. It is not fenced in. My dogs are trained to stay in area and come on command. With other dogs I can walk on leash.

About: I'm that annoying person on the street who sees you and your dog and has to stop and pet them, ask their age, and name! I currently work from home full time and am available almost always for a quick dog walk or an overnight stay! My schedule is very flexible. I have one large dog, he is half german shepherd and half lab. He has a big bark but never a bite. I also have a neutered fix cat that is indoor/outdoor and very playful. They get a long great and I expect your furry friend to fir right in.

About: I've loved and cared for dogs and cats since I was a child. I now work remotely, so I can be quite flexible in terms of care and stays. While I live in Homer, NY, I currently work remotely. My schedule is extremely flexible, even with short notice. And I love pets of all types of sizes.
