“Joey is amazing with all my animals. My Cane Corso takes special introducing and not everyone I introduce him to takes the job. He liked Joey from the first day. I actually have a little farmstead with several types of animals, including a horse, a goat, an emu, over 50 chickens and other types of fowl. I even feed some of the wildlife! Joey does all of it. I get great pics and I'm always so happy with the detailed list he leaves of all the chores and extras that he does. He even remembers things that I forget to mention sometimes! Number one call for me all the time is Joey. Besides, he gave me a very reasonable farmstead rate. I highly recommend this sitter, especially if you have animals not listed on Rover!”

About: Over the past 4 years, I have honed in on my skills in animal handling, care, and maintaining cleaning and sanitation standards. My professional experience has equipped me with a solid foundation in pet care, allowing me to effectively meet the diverse needs of pets and their owners. I am particularly skilled in animal handling, proficient in administering first aid, medication and I am meticulous in my cleaning and sanitation practices. My communicative nature, attention to detail, and flexibility in adapting to various pet needs makes me a perfect fit for your pooch! I’ve dealt with dogs of all ages sizes and temperaments and would love to help you with your pet parent needs! At the moment I’m trying to watch pets full time but I may be getting a part time job in the near future. No matter the schedule, your pup will be my main priority! I currently live with my sister on her 79 acre farm with our two dogs Orla and Nellie. Both can be kept separate from your furbaby if need be. When boarding in my house your pup will be kept comfortable in my upstairs apartment and will be taken out to potty and play whenever they need! When staying in your home just let me know the routine and I’ll keep your furry friend happy!

“So thankful for Christina who helped me out last minute when another person from rover canceled on me. Can’t say thank you enough for her kindness.”

“Abigail is amazing!!! We vacationed for 6 days and Abigail took the best care of our 2 dogs!!! She came to our house twice a day to feed and play with our animals. She sent us daily pictures and summaries of their activity together. This was the perfect way to sit our pets while we vacationed!!! Abigail is the best!”

About: I attended Animal Science BOCES program for 2 years, graduating with my diploma. I am experienced with critters of all kinds from snakes to rabbits! I am comfortable with all sizes, shapes. I have a wide range of time where I am available for morning, afternoon and night walks/meetings. I only work part time so I generally have more time compared to full time workers. I am always very gentle, inviting with all animals. I typically let the pet come to me first, getting my scent and then proceed to give them lots of love.

About: I have a dog of my own and during my time in college I worked part time at a doggy daycare providing many different types of services including watching dogs in groups, giving dinners and medications as needed, and learning many dog behaviors. As stated, I have a dog of my own. I am also an occupational therapist but am taking some time off for the summer! Understanding that each animal requires different care is important, for example my dog is a one year old lab so making sure he gets enough exercise each day is a nonnegotiable! Whatever your pet needs to be happy I feel comfortable being able to provide those things such as any food/medication as needed and all the love including playtime and cuddles!

I would love to take care of your furry and feathery family! All day every day I am living with and taking care of my animals, it is simply a way of life! Whether it's feeding, cuddling, bathing, or playing there is always an animal within arms reach. While I am taking care of your pet in your home I will respect your rules and your space. I will do my best to keep your pets comfortable and happy.

“Elizabeth is capable and friendly, and easy to communicate with. She clearly knows how to care for animals, and my two dogs and cat took to her right away. I feel secure in leaving my pets in her care.”

About: I quickly became a dog mom when my partner moved into my house with his 5 year old dog Sampson. I fell in love with our daily walks in the field behind our house, as well as having something to take care of in the house. Sampson listens, he is a dog I can walk off leash and the best cuddle buddy. Because of his good nature I soon found myself growing our family by the addition of two puppies. Hank was our first pup - he is a Great pyreenes mixed with a Bernese Mountain Dog. Think fluffy, slobbery, and 140 pounds. I wasn't sure how a big dog and myself would get along but I found his size comforting. Stella was a dog we failed at fostering. She is a smaller terrier mix and is teaching me the true purpose of crates and leashes. I learn every day how to be better for my dogs. It is chaotic, messy and unpredictable living with three dogs but I wouldn't change it for anything. I am by no means a perfect dog owner but I understand the complexities and uniqueness of each dog and their personalities. I rely on being consistent and predictable for my dogs so they continue to trust me to take care of them. Their health and happiness is my priority. I am a school teacher. When school is in session I am free after 5pm. When we are on break for holidays or summer, I am free anytime. At my house, I don't have a fenced in yard but we have over 20 acres to walk. I am comfortable walking dogs on a leash. I have a crate for a medium to small sized dog and an outdoor "doggio" for warmer days or if a furry friend wants some time outdoors relaxing. I have three dogs, one of which is a very large and enjoys rough housing with other dogs. We have lots of toys and a house that that continues to become dog proof. We let our dogs on the couches and they have a large living room to play in.

“Meagan is so kind, patient, and thorough. She goes above and beyond and is a great communicator. I'm very grateful to have her looking after my boy while I'm at work.”

About: My family owned an animal kennel rescue for a few years. It has given me very useful knowledge of what to do in emergency situations. It gives me a respect for the animal(s). I have had to act quickly before when an animal was hit by a car or bitten by another animal. So as drastic as those two things are I just want you to know I have been in those types of situations so if anything would happen to your fur baby I am ready to respond. I will go above and beyond to make sure your little baby comes home just as happy if not happier. I know how being away from mom/dad can make them sad. I look forward in meeting your pet. I am currently a full stay at home pet mom so I am here to watch your pet any time of day any day of week. We have a fair size yard for the dogs to play in. Some is fenced in and we are working on getting the rest of it enclosed. I do allow pets on the furniture. I will respect your rules though. I don’t want the animals to get confused. As long as they didn’t just play in a mud puddle, We will continue to follow your rules. I do not want them to get confused when it times to go back home or for you to come home. I will respect anything you would want me to follow. I am a very easy going person. And we look forward in meeting your pet.

Sari H.
“Sari has been helping us with the care of our dog for just over one year now. In addition to occasionally walking our pup and getting her to her grooming appointments on time, Sari does a phenomenal job boarding our dog. We feel comfortable going out of town knowing that Sari will take good care of our little girl! Sari is great with communication and updates us on how our pup is doing while we are away, and even sends the occasional photo! She pays careful attention to our dog's diet and gives her lots of love and attention. Our dog loves Sari so much that we have a hard time getting her to come back home with us after her walks or appointments!”
