About: I’ve taken care of, for one, my own dog since I was young and besides from that my neighbors, friends, and family always rely on me when they’re out of town to take care of their pets:) I’ve taken care of puppies and senior dogs! I’m currently enrolled at the University Of Louisville, and have some in person and also online classes so when I’m available could differ but I’m pretty flexible and I could bring my laptop anywhere! I love pets like they’re my own, I have a deep spot in my heart for them all🥹 I can crate any size dog if need be (I know some worry about that). More than happy to take them out wherever whenever, play/walk with them, or bathe them:)!

About: Dogs have always been family in my home, and that’s exactly how I treat every pup who stays here. My name is Keith and I share a home with my wife, Natalie; our 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound, Bernie, and our 6-year-old daughter, who has grown up loving and being around dogs. The home has a large, fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, explore, or just lounge outside. Inside, the home is completely dog-friendly—couches, furniture, snuggles and all! I want your dog to feel like they’re staying with family rather than being boarded. One of the biggest benefits of staying here is that someone is almost always home. I work from home 90% of the time and the whole family is home on the weekends, so your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. They won’t spend their stay sitting alone for hours. Having an Irish Wolfhound has also given me plenty of experience with large and giant breeds, but I genuinely love dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so my goal is to follow their normal routine as closely as possible and make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and included while they’re here. And of course, I am happy to send plenty of pictures and updates so you can see what your pup is up to! 🐶❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my everyday routine. I work from home majority of the time, so someone is almost always here. This means your pup won’t be left alone for long periods and will get plenty of attention, playtime, outside time, and cuddles throughout the day. I am available for weekday and weekend boarding and love having an extra furry family member around! The home has a large, fully fenced-in backyard with plenty of room for dogs to safely run, play, and explore. I also have a sweet 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Bernie who is very much part of our family. We have a 6-year-old daughter who has grown up around dogs and understands how to be gentle and respectful with them. The home is very dog-friendly—pups are welcome on the furniture, encouraged to get comfortable, and treated like part of the family while they’re here. I am also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, crate, or exercise routine so they feel as comfortable and secure as possible.

About: I worked in an overnight pet facility called Pet Station Country Club for close to a year as a part of the overnight team. From around 7pm to 6am I would have personal watch of dozens of pets including cats and dogs, and was in charge of giving them medications and potty breaks. I am also Pet Tech CPR and First Aid certified, so I can give medical attention to your pet in an emergency. I have grown up around all kinds of cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens, and love pets! I am a full time student undergoing my junior year at University of Louisville, but am free multiple times during the day to check in on pets as I live within 5 minutes of campus. My evenings are free, and I have no prior commitments. The townhome I stay in has a fenced in yard and is incredibly close to University's campus, meaning it is a safe environment for walks and care.

“Jenniffer was awesome. Our dogs loved her and she took great care of our house. She took them on walks everyday and sent lots of pictures and updates. She coordinated letting people into our house and left it cleaner than we left it. She works from home, so our dogs got to go out whenever they wanted and got to sleep in our bed with her- like they prefer! The dogs were relaxed and happy when we returned. So excited to have a professional, compassionate person to look after our dogs from now on.”

“Jorie arrived early, was very upbeat and positive and my little Maltese, Becca, was all over her with happy kisses. When I left for the afternoon and evening I felt confident that Becca was in good hands. I showed Jorie how to express my little pup's bladder and she took care of her, no problem though most vet techs are unable to accomplish this. I adopted Becca as she was recovering from severe abuse including a broken back and pelvis so I have to be very careful about her care. I like Jorie and I think you and your fur babies will, too.”

She went above and beyond, doing two home visits before her stay to get to know our pups and ensure they were comfortable with her. One of our dogs is 15 years old, deaf, on several medications, and prone to wandering at night—which requires a lot of patience and attentiveness. Kaitlyn handled it all with care and compassion. Her communication was excellent; we received daily updates with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. When we returned home, the house was spotless and, most importantly, both dogs were calm and relaxed. That’s not always the case—so it was clear they felt safe and cared for.
