“Chris was fantastic - he looked after my dog and 9 month old kitten for a few days over the holidays. He went above and beyond - checking on them more frequently than I’d required/expected and sent plenty of updates and photos. My dog doesn’t usually eat when I’m away but he seems to have eaten with Chris which is amazing - shows me he felt safe and loved while I was away. Thank you!”

About: I’ve loved dogs (and cats) since I can remember! I’ve taken care of dogs for about 3 years now, whether that be family, friends, and/or neighbors pets. I am a full time student at the University of Louisville but will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available during the week and some weekends. I keep my eyes on your fur baby at all times to ensure they’re not getting into any trouble and are safe. Will follow all instructions regarding your fur baby.

About: I have had my own dog for 14 years and walked neighbors dogs when I was growing up. Helped walk/watch friends dogs throughout college when they would be traveling. I work each week day but can watch/walk a dog morning, Lunch time, and post work. I also work close to home and can come let them out multiple times. I have a fenced in backyard with lots of grass that my dog loves playing fetch and taking a nap in the sun during the summer

“Jenna watched our two giant dogs for a quick trip. She sent photo and video updates, letting us know how they were doing. It went great and I’ll definitely be rebooking next time!”

“We’ve hired Emilia twice to stay with our dog, Apollo. She’s been excellent! Both stays were during extreme weather events (unplanned, of course) and she did a great job keeping us updated and make sure our dog was safe and well cared for. She sent pictures and even shared a video our son made with our dog to let him know we were thinking of him. She also leaves the house clean and even helped care for my garden during some extreme heat. We will absolutely continue to hire her!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—personally, professionally, and even globally. From pet sitting cats and dogs around the world to working as a zookeeper caring for sea lions, otters, penguins, and alligators, my experience is as diverse as it is deep. I’ve trained my own dog, volunteered in animal shelters, and supported special needs pets. I specialize in working with high-energy dogs, especially medium to large breeds like pit bulls, Dobermans, and German Shepherds. My care style is loving yet structured: I’ll get on the floor and play just as easily as I’ll redirect behaviors like jumping. I aim to build trust, reinforce positive habits, and create a safe, playful environment. As a contract worker, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to play with your pups this summer! I’m available on weekdays and some weekends, and can adapt to your pet’s routine for walks, meals, or playtime. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I follow your instructions closely and keep pets on their normal schedule to reduce stress. I’m respectful of your space and make sure everything stays clean, calm, and secure. I’m also attentive to behavior and body language, so I can adjust my approach as needed—whether that’s extra play, gentle encouragement, or giving them space.

“Katie was a phenomenal choice for our first time using Rover for a last minute trip! She took excellent care of our two sweet girls, Mani & Lilly (large dogs). Both dogs warmed up to her instantly during the meet & greet, which made me feel SO much better. Katie carefully followed all of the directions to care for our pups and provided wonderful updates via pictures and videos. One of our girls gets a bit nervous and doesn’t like to eat much while we’re away, not under Katie’s care! Katie was patient with our stubborn girl and feeding times went well! The biggest things, Katie managed the girls on leashes, didn’t let them get away, and she kept them safe! She even provided updates that she watched a few movies with our couch potatoes (one of their favorite things!) Her communication was perfect! We were able to enjoy our trip, knowing the pups were in awesome hands and receiving loads of attention and love! Thank you for such a wonderful experience for the pups, as well as us!”

About: I have had years of animal advocacy and care experience having fostered and owned several animals of all kinds. Working with vet clinics and non-profits to home strays or provide medical care. Calm, confident, and gentle care is needed to build trust with our fur family. I am a full time college student with a well detailed daily schedule that will be provided and updated to my everyday responsibilities. I'm involved with marching band and pep band so certain times are effected the most. I am well versed with proper crate training, and managing anxious characteristics. I can follow care to your animals needs and to your preferred care instructions.

“Willow was wonderful with my 13 year old dog. He was flexible and easy to work with. Stayed at my house until I returned home! Reliable, stayed in touch with pictures and texts. Willl use him again!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, and over the years I’ve cared for pets of all ages—from playful puppies and kittens to sweet senior companions. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve helped family and friends with their furry loved ones, whether it was pet-sitting, walking, or giving them some extra love and attention while their humans were away. Right now, I help my roommate with her rescue pup whenever she needs an extra hand. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Lots of cuddles, belly rubs, and silly voices included—unless they’re too cool for that. As a student with just one in-person class, Monday through Thursday from 12:30–2:10 PM, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care throughout the week. I’m mostly available before and after class, as well as on weekends depending on the timing. I also like to stay active and make it a point to go on a 30-minute walk daily—having a furry companion to join me makes it even better! Whether it’s a walk, some playtime, or just keeping a pet company while you’re away, I love building that into my daily routine. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, cozy, and calm environment. I live in an apartment with a spacious layout, and I can comfortably host your dog either in my room or the shared living room—whatever works best for their comfort and routine. The neighborhood around my apartment is great for walks, with lots of green space and quiet streets. I also frequent a park just a 5-minute drive away for longer walks, playtime, or a change of scenery if your dog enjoys adventure. Whether we’re hanging out inside or getting those daily steps in, your pet will get lots of attention, love, and exercise.
