About: I have owned and raised dogs and cared for dogs for at least a decade. I’ve been a proud parent to a Siberian Husky and two Australian Shepherds. One of my shepherds has had a litter in the past and I successfully cared for that litter. I am on summer break as a teacher. I am available everyday in July and August. During the school year I am available weekends and nights. I ensure pets have a positive experience by taking dogs on walks, to the dog park, out in the backyard for playtime, and games inside the house. Fun time can also be chilling in the house watching tv!

About: I have experience with dogs my entire life from daily care routine to caring for senior dogs. Your member of the family would be treated very well and we are able to care for dogs that require special attention. Your dog would not go more than 2-4 hours without someone supervising them. I would make sure your animal is safe. The world class care your fur baby would get would be unmatched. My doggies are literally spoiled but well behaved. When I was little, I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some capacity. My journey with pet care began when I was 12 years old. One of my neighbors had a black lab puppy that they never let inside & never had company. One day, I walked up to their door, knocked & asked them to hire me to walk their dog everyday. I never looked back. Since then, friends, family, neighbors & strangers alike have entrusted me with all of their pet's needs. When considering booking with me, please keep in mind that I also work 35 hours a week, giving me plenty of time to pay attention to your pets. I do not have breed restrictions & am happy to work with any special needs or requirements your pet may have. FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS, I do require a meet & greet before booking to ensure that everyone (including your pet) is comfortable and to be able to ask/answer any questions we may have for each other. I've found this helps to ensure trust between all of us. Please be upfront with any triggers or quirks so I know exactly how to take care of your pet. *The meet & greet is a FREE service to ensure we're all a good fit for each other before the stay. For the time being, I do not offer boarding in my home. During my stay with your pets, I provide the utmost care & attention to your pet & their needs. My main priorities are making sure your pet is as safe & as comfortable as possible in an already anxious situation with their parents being away. About: I’ve had all kinds of animals my whole life. I am currently a vet tech major! I love animals and am very engaged with them! I currently have two labs- a chocolate and a black but I know other breeds besides labradors. I’m very comfortable with any size dog. Any kind of service needed I can provide. I can provide baths, walks, playtime, giving medication and feedings.I can also text you updates if you’d like. If you have any other animals besides dogs I am comfortable around them as well! If you have any questions just ask! I currently will be doing this full time! I take care of my own animals needs everyday so it won’t be any change for me to help with yours! My overnight stays consist of roughly 12 hours at night! I can also do drop in visits throughout the day. I want your pets to be as comfortable as possible! I like to do a meet and greet first so we can go over everything!

About: I have had dogs since I was 6 years old but as an adult I’ve had my own for the last five years. I have a one and a half year old Labrador Retriever and a Six year old German Shepard Malinois mix. I make sure to take my dogs for walks at least once a day and we also go for weekly adventures. To me having dogs brings a whole new level of companionship to life. They are my whole world and having the opportunity to care for other peoples furry friends would be something that is so special to me! I currently am self employed so most of my day is spent at home working on my laptop! If your pupper follows a certain schedule I would be more than happy to make sure it is followed. I think it is extremely to maintain a pets routine! For my dogs we get up everyday around 7 and then I let take them outside to go potty, following that we eat breakfast, go for a walk, and then about every 2/3 hours I take them potty, then at night they eat dinner at 5:30, followed by either another walk. If there is a routine that your pet has I would be more than happy to make sure it is followed!

About: As stated above, I am a Veterinary Technician that has dedicated my career and education to animals. I have made the switch to becoming a human nurse-which I work casual at the hospital. I miss seeing animals everyday I would love to spend my time caring for your fur babies! I can apply my knowledge to handling any cat or dog by understanding their behaviour, and knowing the proper handling techniques. I also feel comfortable medicating and caring for any animal regardless of their lifestage. If needed, I can assist in providing nail trims and ear cleaning if products are supplied and animal is agreeable with one person providing such care. I have some shifts set ahead for working in the hospital, but I also do have a lot of openings in my schedule. Please let me know if you think I would be a good match to care for your pet! I am currently working casually at the hospital as I have taken some more classes that begin in the fall. I would love to fill the gaps in my schedule with caring for animals. As I have worked in both general animal clinics and emergency animal clinics, I am very aware of any risks that could present themselves while caring for animals. Knowing these risks, I am hyper alert in caring for any animal safely.

About: Hi my name is Sherrie and I’m a late 30 something year old and I grew up with pets of all kinds, dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, Guinea pigs and even a few fish over the years. I have a 10 year old golden lab retriever and a 7 year old black lab, that are the highlights and loves of my life, but I have lots of time and love to go around for your critters too. On the rare occasion that I have to leave my girls, no matter how long/short, I am very selective on who I ask to do so and I expect no different for anyone else and therefore I am open to lots of questions and having a meet and greet prior to ensure it’s a good fit for everyone. When I was working shift work I had a great set up for my girls to get out and zoom while I was home getting my pre-shift Zzz’s in during the day. I am totally willing to do the same for you, on a recurring basis if you are a shift worker. I have lots of experience being around and caring for dogs and cats, however I also have farmhand experience as well, mainly with horses and cows, having worked on a dairy farm and hobby farm within the Kingston area. I’m mainly offering to bring animals in and out of pastures/stalls, stall cleaning, feeding and watering. I do not have any specific training when it comes to animal care, but my experiences have taught me that animals just want to be loved and cared for like us but also need to be supervised. Marlow, my 7 year old black lab has presented me with opportunities to learn about wound care after a stick impale injury at a young age, as well as the jumping out of a moving vehicle scene. But now it’s just generally silliness, like getting too excited about ball fetching or with Macey licking at hot spot so deterring that and keeping spots clean I also have had the unfortunate experience in having to take one of the farm dogs to the vet because he tried to eat a porcupine. To avoid situations like this or skunking, in the future I will be sure that your dog is walked on a leash and not an over long one. I am currently in a position where I can pretty well make my own schedule and am willing to work with you and your pets needs. At this time I am unable to offer care in my home due to having my own dogs and limited indoor/outdoor space. However - upon coming to your home, I am more than happy to come to do doggy walks around your neighbourhood and or for drop ins/playtime in your house/yard depending on your request and yard situation. I am open to the possibility to take your pup in my vehicle to go for more of an adventure/destination walk but this would have to be discussed in length prior and depend on different factors such as the distance to location, the weather etc.

About: When I was 14 I decided to intern at the SPCA and my love for the job has grown. Over the years I have worked with Veterinarians to dog trainers, have worked under a pet groomer, and have had friends and family ask me to watch and take care of their family members. Currently, I am in school for the Zoo Technology program. I have busy mornings and a long Tuesday but am available for afternoons and nights. I have two of my own cats and they are my best accomplishments. I know from experience that trusting someone to care for your pets can be extremely hard. I have no issues picking up after a puppy/kitten or an older animal and I’m good at keeping on a schedule for feeding or medication times.
