About: I’ve been caring for pets for a few years, mostly for close friends and family. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just keeping them company while their family is away, I’ve always treated pets as my own. I often help with housesitting and babysitting as well, so I’ve learned to also juggle multiple responsibilities. I’m currently home for the summer from college, therefore, I have open availability and the flexibility to provide consistent pet care. With no current academic commitments, I am able to build my daily routine around the pets I care for! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always do my best to keep their routines as normal and comfortable as possible. I’m not afraid to ask clarifying questions about your pets to ensure I am giving them the best care. :)

About: While I haven’t had formal pet care experience, I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have always taken care of my own pets. I understand how important it is to give them love, attention, and consistent care. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, and giving lots of affection. About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and I care deeply for them. I adopted my first dog, a GSD, 7 years ago and adopted my second 4 years ago. I also have experience with senior dogs as I have a 13 year old Chihuahua. I feel very comfortable caring for big dogs and taking on the responsibilities that come with them. You can rest assured that your fur babies are safe with me! I currently only work part-time and am able to devote a large portion of time to caring for your pets. I am available for overnight stays and can check in multiple times a day to make sure your pet is cared for. I am very responsible and while pet sitting in clients’ homes I ensure to follow whatever instructions they leave for me. I want you to feel secure in knowing that I’m caring for your pets just as you would.

About: I've had dogs of all shapes in my house growing up: german shepherds, Yorkies, pit bulls and loooots of stray cats. I currently have 2 fur babies but I wish had more. I was the go-to kid in the neighborhood to check in on pets, play with them for energy, bathe and walk them and much more. I did it for fun, but looking back I probably should have charged $5 haha. I work from home and would love to help you out by watching, bathing, or walking your fur baby. I work from home and am very flexible in my hours. I am very familiar with dogs, cats and some rodent pets. I usually watch my friends' and family's dogs and cat while they are away and have no trouble fitting in plenty of walks and play time for them I make sure to respect the home and the owners while giving all my attention and time to the pets I'm watching. I also like to ask for particular tidbits that the animal's characters benefit from. (this goes from medications and feeding habits as well as things and behaviors to stay away from) For example, my pitbull needs a lot of attention but honestly, she just likes to be in the same room as everyone and likes to be talked to in funny voices whereas my Yorkie will just walk off and find a corner to crap in if she doesn't get enough attention and you will never know. I want pet parents to feel like they can forget about their pets while they are gone, it can be more trouble than it's worth to constantly worry and fret over your fur babies with a stranger.

About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for both cats and dogs. When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dogs hair and clip his nails. I have open availability so I can fit morning, afternoon, and nightly check ins, baths, walks, overnight sitting, and errands. I would love to spend as much time as I can making sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of. I don’t want to break an animal’s routine so if you have your pet on a schedule/routine, diet, or regiment of some sort, I plan to stick to that.

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: I've taken care of & spoiled my friends & family pets all my life!! I treat them all as if they're my own & would do anything for them!! I'm obsessed with Dogs!!! I just lost my 'son' (my Jack Russell Terrier) last year. He was my world!! He lived to be 17 1/2 years old & not a single day went by that he wasn't loved & I'll do the same for everyone!!! About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals from dogs to rabbits. I have been a huge animal lover since I was a kid. I had a friend once joke and say that my pets had better health insurance than her because of how much I loved and cared for my pets. Clients, friends and family always ask me first if I can take care of their pets when they are gone. I am always reliable and love their pets as my own. I will let your dogs out for potty breaks in between my day at work. They will get unconditional love and attention. My best friend is my pug. My fur babies are my children and will treat your pet the same way. I’m self employed running my own business that has busy days and slow days. If I am responsible for the care of someone’s animals I will make sure to schedule around their care. Potty breaks, food and attention will be considered first. I am a very easy going and responsible person. I have a fenced yard and a doggy door. My pug is the biggest social butterfly and welcomes anyone who comes in our home including cats. She was raised with cats so she loves them like they are her people. Haha She loves to have new doggy friends too. I spoil her like crazy so your pet will be given the same attention and care. I take their safety very seriously. If you have rules for your pet in your home I will abide by those rules.

About: What sets me a part of the fact that I owned a vet rescue with as many as 45 cats and 25 dogs. Definitely under understand how to take care of cats and dogs. I currently am not working staying at home taking care of the home. I have plenty of time to care for animals. I have years and years of experience, taking care of animals since I did have a pet rescue at one time. I have two cats and two dogs. My environment is very pet friendly and safe. I previously owned a rescue which I had 45 cats and 21 dogs so I’m definitely capable of taking care of your sweet pet.

About: I’ve had many dogs and cats while growing up and with that, I’ve had to take careful care of them in their senior years with medications and their overall well-being. I’ve always been trusted to dog sit overnight at friend’s and family’s houses throughout the years. I am a 2nd year nursing student and currently have the summer off from school leaving me plenty of free time for watching and taking care of animals. My main priority with this job is pet safety of course. I’m very cautious when taking them on walks and when they are around unfamiliar dogs.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I mostly grew up around German Shepards and miniature Dobermans. I have two dogs of my own named Milo and Bear. I adopted Milo when he was a little less than a year from the pound. I got Bear just 6 months later from someone who couldn’t keep him. I love dogs and want to help take care of your pets! I am a stay at home mom and I also work from home. Working from home gives me flexibility to be able to be there for your pets. In my home or your home your pets safety and well being is my top priority. I will treat your pets with the same love l treat mine with. I believe pictures and videos are important to provide to show you how your pet is doing. I also send updates about your pets like what they’ve been up to and if I have concerns I definitely would let you know. I do live in a one bedroom apartment but I have a front yard I can take your dogs out for fresh air and to use the bathroom.

About: I have taken care of different animals since I was 12, including sick ones for my grandpa who has a ranch, I have 2 huskies I work with animals everyday at Petsmart as a Dog trainer, I have worked with many anxious and very excited dogs in my training classes I'm attentive of their needs for food or potty, I'm a huge animal lover so they will never be neglected and will receive lots of love and pets

About: Dogs have always been so beautiful to me: the sweetest most loyal domesticated animals that deserve nothing but love and care. My family and I have had pets for as long as I can remember! While my family only ever owned smaller breed dogs growing up, we adopted a German Rottweiler from a family who wasn't able to keep him any longer about six years ago and he is the definition of a gentle giant. Our extended families always had dogs and they were my favorite part of family gatherings! I have two beautiful cats, Parsley and Canada, who are going on two years old and love doing their own thing together! I also have a sweet teen pup who I adopted from a shelter in Bakersfield named Moose (he's still getting used to giving my cats some space)! Loving and caring for these animals has helped me mature, adopt new lifestyle choices, and realize that all kinds of life is truly precious. Patience and love is key when taking care and dealing with animals and my fur babies are a huge part of who I am today. I'm currently a full time student in hybrid courses, so the only day I'm on campus is Tuesdays! Pet care is a huge part of my day- I have a breakfast routine for my fur gang, a short morning walk scheduled, a long afternoon walk, and a dinner routine for them too! They're a huge part of my day, when people ask if I have kids I say kinda lol I think they count!! 😌 I make sure all of my pets are comfortable always. Having cats and a dog, I understand that they like their space from eachother so they're often separated to feel as comfortable and relaxed throughout each one of their days. I'd take any direction from you for your pups/cats preferences very heavily; in all honesty, I would want someone to treat my fur baby with nothing but loving care and respect! :-)
