Chandler was very flexible about drop off and pick up times. Both she and her husband were friendly and open with me, and sent pics of them snuggling with my oversized puppers. When I got there to pick her up, all her things were packed and ready to go. The whole thing was friendly, efficient, and professional.

Chandler is AWSOME! Baxter is always happy to see her and Jon. Her puppy and Baxter a buddies.

Would have appreciated more updates without having to ask. I only got a few pictures (after asking) and zero verbal updates of how my dog was actually doing. As a Rover sitter myself, I go out of my way to provide multiple updates throughout the day on how a dog is doing, eating, playing etc without the owner having to ask. My dog was returned to me in good condition and seemed fine, however, so I am thankful for that. Still, I think next time I will book someone who is more engaged and better at communicating how my dog’s stay is going.

We reallly liked Chandler as a boarder. We dropped Maisie off for 7 days and she came back so happy and well loved. Maisie had a great time playing with Chandler’s dog and Chandler gave Maisie a lot of love and snuggles.

Being a Rover caregiver myself, maybe my standards for dog care are too high, NO, I take that back, because our pets are in most cases our children. I felt like I was pulling teeth to get Chandler to update me on my puppy's status, i.e. is my dog blending with the other dogs? Is she eating, getting into trouble, etc. I have to be honest, when I first walked into her apartment and saw two dogs inside 1 crate and a good amount of clutter, plus 4 dogs in the small living room area of her apartment, I almost turned around back out the door. I think for the entire 4 days my dog was probably locked in a crate or only kept inside the small living room area of the apartment. Again, I was not sent updates or pictures unless I would ask. Something did not feel right, and my dog is not really acting her normal self. Being a Rover sitter myself, I try to ease the anxiety as much as possible for both the pup and the parents by sending pet owners updates at the very least once a day. And stuffing two dogs in one crate is not a safe idea. I know I'm not the perfect sitter, things happen that are not in my control at times, but making animals feel like they're at home, safe and comfortable is a priority. Nice person, but felt like I was pulling to teeth to get updates and did not feel my dog was in loving caring hands.

Jessie had a great time with Chandler. She was able to spend the week there and play with her little dog. I know she was much happier in Chandlers home than a kennel. They made her feel like one of the family, we will definitely use Chandler again.
