Abigayle was awesome. She had another rover right before ours run a little long so she give our dog an extra long walk to make up for it! Great communicator too so will absolutely be booking Abigayle next time we need a walker.

Abby was a huge help in a pinch. She was able do to some last minute drop in visits. She got my shy dog to walk everyday and take her medicine. I was grateful for her flexibility and help!

I hired Abigalye as a house sitter for five days and four nights. We had a meet and greet that went well, and she arrived as agreed upon the morning we headed out. The dogs seemed to like her and her husband, and I felt comfortable leaving my babies (and my home) in her care. I received several texts with pictures of my pups throughout her stay at the house. She said everything was going well, there were no issues, and everyone was doing great. When we arrived home, I was shocked at how badly the house smelled. The dogs had relieved themselves inside the house countless times. I started counting the pee spots on the living-room carpet, but gave up counting after 12 because the neglect was unfathomable to me. There was also a desiccated turd on the floor next to the couch. I didn't count the spots in the dining room area as I had given up by then, defeated. There were four dried pee stains in the laundry room on the hardwood floors. I sent Abigayle a text message through my phone, which did not go through; I received a failure to send notice. I sent a message through Rover texts, again got the failure notice. The only way I could contact her was to do a “re-book,” which I did. I explained what I found upon my arrival home and that my neighbor had complained to me that the dogs were barking incessantly while we were gone. Abygayle responded that the dogs barked while she was there (which I have a hard time believing- my dogs are loud - I can't imagine anyone dealing with that for an extended period of time). She also said that “the accidents in the house were not my fault.” When trying to continue the conversation with my reply, I got the failed text message again. It seems Abigayle has blocked me. In no way did Abigayle do what she was hired to do. She neglected my dogs which caused severe damge to my home. To add insult to injury, Rover has encouraged me to “work it out” with the sitter, yet Abigayle has blocked all commuication. I HIGHLY recommend using another sitter, not only that, but that you carefully read Rover’s “Garauntee” - read the fine print. There is very little Rover will do the help a pet owner other than offer up sympathy, which doesn't do anyone any good. I find this frustrating, but what’s worse is that Abigayle is out there, scamming other people into believing she will care for their dear pets. RUN from this sitter. Save your money if you care about your pets. And even if you don't care if your pets are neglected but don't want to spend countless hours and dollars cleaning or replacing damaged property, DO NOT use Abigayle.

Oh my goodness, Abigayle was so good with our pup & so helpful walking Rocco while we were out of town! We really appreciated her reliability in taking him out at the end of the day which is usually not the most convenient time. Look forward to seeing Abigayle again! Chris K
