About: I have volunteered at a few animal shelters, including Pet's Alive in Middletown, NY. When I volunteered there, dogs were divided into green, yellow, and red. Green meaning that the dog was friendly and easier to handle, red meaning that only certain people could handle them, and yellow was a midway point. Throughout my time there, I was able to work my way up to yellow, which meant that I could work with the dogs that weren't always easy to handle. In my home life, I had a Treeing Walker Coonhound named Annie! We grew up together, and it often felt like she was my second sister. At a very young age, I had to learn how to safely walk a very strong, passionate, excited, and fast hound. Towards the last two years of her life, I made it my priority to make sure Annie was as comfortable as possible. This meant taking her outside often because of her incontinence, as well as helping her up the stairs if she needed help. Since then, I have looked after the dogs of many friends and family, and I'm excited to meet yours! I work from home, and I make my own schedule, so I'm very flexible! The only times I would most likely not be able to care for your pets in over night stays would be the day before a holiday and the holiday (example: Christmas Eve and Christmas.) For those who need a caretaker during odd hours that other caretakers may not be able to fill, my flexible schedule could definitely work! Above all else, I want you and your pets to feel comfortable, safe, and happy with me, so how I care for them depends on their personalities, what you can tell me about them, and what they need to be their healthiest self. I'm very patient and I love how unique all creatures on this earth are - I will have an absolute blast getting to know your furry pals! As much as I'd love to board, I have two cats who grew up with a dog when they were kittens, but it's been almost 7 years, and unfortunately, they have long since forgotten that dogs exist. To prevent confusing my cats, my care will primarily be at your house and property! I have always seen taking care of animals as a huge responsibility, and I genuinely do not take animal care lightly. I also take being in your home and property very seriously, because our homes should be a safe place for ourselves, our families, and our pets.

“Nate took good care of my 2 senior cats while I was away on vacation. He did daily drop in visits, litter box, fed/watered, gave 1 daily medication, and spent time with them. He also sent pics and gave me updates. My house was clean when I got home. Nate was prompt to respond on the site, we met in advance at a public eatery to get to know each other, and he came to my house after to meet my cats and get a basic run down on their needs. He was very pleasant, easy to talk to, and my cats took an instant liking to him. I would highly recommend him to others and will hire him again in the future! About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm. A half hour lunch long lunch where I can leave to care for your furries in the middle of the day depending on the distance. Dogs will be crated when I’m not home. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. If you think I’d be a good fit for your fur baby or have any questions or concerns, I’m here to answer them all and hope you will consider me! I work M-F through a nearby school, being able to provide supervision to animals while I am home. About: I’ve had dogs growing up. Fell in love with all types of animals.I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years. Animals come first in my household! Then the kids lol just kidding! Animals are like my kids .. I work full time until 1:30 I have my evenings / nights free to walk, bathe and take care of your furry pets.And available for boarding over the weekend and or week! I’m very well experienced with dogs, I know they require attention, love and exercise and I promise you I can provide that! I currently work full time 4 days a week, 7am-6pm Sunday-Wednesday. But would walk dogs after work! I’m available Thursday to Saturday from anywhere after 8am and before 10pm! I have 70acres of land up the road from me they can roam, or be on a heavy duty leash if needed. Theres, rivers, ponds. And I have crates incase they needed to be crated!

My kiddo loves to help me with the pets we care for when the owner allows! About: I love animals. I currently have a female boxer Ruby, she is wonderful. I trained her myself! I've been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10! I cared for all of my beloved pets when they were young puppies as well as into their geriatric years which included various health conditions including incontinence/diapers, wounds & wound care, baths, medications, liver failure, cancer, feeding, etc. I am a mom of 3, Personal Trainer/Fitness Pro, musician and baker all from home. So I am an organized - multitasker, I'm very careful, caring and am very active, which your pup will appreciate. I'm a work-from-home mom. My youngest just started preschool, so I now have a couple extra hours in the afternoon to give your pup a nice walk and a good petting. I would love to walk your leashed dog up and down your street or just throw their toy around, anything to get them moving! I can also change water and feed if necessary or even just check in on them and send you a picture, to give you peace of mind!

About: I have been taking care of dogs my entire life in a multi dog household as well as for friends, family and clients. I’m experienced with all sizes and breeds. Unfortunately we for our safety we can not accept under socialized or aggressive pups. I currently work from home on our family farm in upstate New York, fortunately this leaves me with unlimited home time to help care for pets. I have a spare bedroom and additional living space that can easily accommodate dogs or cats in a comfortable, home environment situation. I have friendly dogs that would love to play with yours or I can keep them easily separated as well as accommodate crates for your pup/s. Dogs are also welcome into our living spaces with or without our own dogs on a case by case basis. I will provide frequent leash walked around our 20 acre small farm and we have a large fenced in area under construction now. Ask about board and train! I currently pet sit in my country home full time while tending my small farm so you can expect almost constant care for your friend! I have multiple large yards, pastures and woods to take your pup/s on adventures! A large dog run is in the works but we are frequent walkers so you can rest assured your pet is having a fun, stimulating time!
