About: Hi! I’m Emily — a music teacher, soon to be newlywed, and lifelong animal lover based in Grants Pass. I’m building a little found family with my partner and our two cats, and I know just how much pets mean to us — they’re part of the heart of the home. I grew up surrounded by animals, from cats and dogs to bunnies, ducks, chickens, and more, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. As a teacher, I’m dependable, organized, and calm under pressure — and I bring that same energy to caring for animals. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, a walk around the block, or overnight companionship, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to work with pets who are shy, quirky, or have special routines. I offer drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting, and I’m available on weekdays, evenings, and some weekends when I’m not working school events. Your pets will be treated like part of my own little family — because I know how important they truly are. I am a full time teacher, so summers remain open for me! This year I have the exception of our wedding and honeymoon in early August, but otherwise summer is open! During the school year, I have holiday seasons tentatively open, and my weekend availability depends on if there are events for my music students. I understand that animals need time to adjust and adapt. I am patient with animals as they learn to trust, and will not force your furry friend to trust me before they're ready. I am comfortable doing whatever they may need for care, and believe that adapting to you and your pet's environment is important!

About: I have a lot of love for animals. I am interested in dog walking or taking care of dogs/cats when you just need a little vacation to yourself or a busy day ahead! I have two years of experience with dog sitting. I have taken dogs on walks, stayed over night at the owner's home, fed them, play with them, and clean up after them when they have accidents. I have also taken dogs to vet appointments. I am not afraid of any type of dogs. They have this effect on me that makes me fall in love with them or feel better when I'm feeling down. I’m currently off of my main job as a special needs aide at a middle school as it is summer time! I have a lot of free time right now. I always want pets to feel safe and secure when they’re with me. I like using a soft voice with dogs, unless told to be more stern by the owners. I have experience with dogs that have been abused and are more timid, I usually sit on the floor with them until they trust me enough to come up to me.

Dogs are treated better than humans in my household and my own dogs are like children to me. I will care for your babies with lots of love.
