Dog Walkers in Petersville, IA

About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

About: For years my daughter and I volunteered at a no-kill shelter fostering and adopting out dogs and cats. This gave me experience with several breeds. I work Tuesday through Friday from 8-5. My office is very close to the house and I am able to come home everyday for lunch. I have lots of time to spoil your pets! I live in a condo with a very large yard. Your pets will have the run of the house. I have one cat that rules the roost!

About: My name is Kassidy. I have had dogs my whole life. I currently work at a vet clinic and am very comfortable with all sizes of dogs. Let me walk your dog! I work full time at a vet clinic. I can easily let out your dog before work, on my lunch break and after work if needed. I currently have three dogs of my own. They have a fenced in yard. All three of my dogs are up to date on vaccines as well.

About: I have had a dog my entire life. I have worked as a dog bather in the past for 8 plus years. I get alone with all dogs and make friends with everyone I meet. I like to get to know and meet all new dog family members. I watch family members dogs often when they go out of town. I am free everyday to take care of anyone dog that needs care and love. Right now I’m available anytime needed just not at night when I might be asleep I take my own dog for a walk everyday around the neighborhood. I bath him once a week and love playing with him and his toys outside getting all the energy out of him till he ready for a good nap

About: I've had different types of pets my whole life - dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, etc. I harbor so much love and passion for animals and positive care. I have experience as kennel staff at a vet clinic where I fed and cleaned up after cats & dogs, and walked & bathed dogs as needed. I've cared for puppies, kittens, as well as senior cats and dogs. I have experience giving medication such as pills, chewables, liquid oral meds with a syringe, and insulin shots for a diabetic cat. I work full-time as a paraeducator, so while school is out my schedule is pretty flexible for the summer to pet-sit and go on routine walks with pets as needed. Caring for pets in my clients' homes, I calmly greet pets upon arrival so I don't over-excite them. I follow owners' specific instructions thoroughly to ensure safe and proper care for each animal and their individual needs. If I am letting animals out for a walk or into a yard, I check to make sure fences/gates and that leashes/tie-out lines are safe and secure before having the pets go outside.

My favorite part of my job is building strong relationships with the owners and their dogs! I also have experience dropping in homes while their owners are at work, school or out of town. When I do drop ins I have taken them on walks, picked up after them and fed them. I absolutely love working with all animals! I do have a full time job working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Mon-Fri I do work from 730am-4pm. I am still available during the weekends and can also do house sitting during the days that I work! I will follow their daily routine and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. While walking them I will keep distance from other animals to ensure their safety. I will also follow all dietary needs and feeding schedules.

About: I will treat your dog(s) like my own. You will be provided with photos during their stay and can reach out anytime to check in. I want them to feel at home and you to be confident and can enjoy your time away and know they are having fun. My boyfriend and I, focus our time and attention on dogs and have a way of training dogs very quickly with tricks, agility training, etc. they will be fed on time, always have fresh water and have access to potty breaks and walks. We live in a pet friendly and very safe neighborhood. Trust and respect are things we value with people and their pets. About: Sierra has over 20 years of pet care experience between having a range of personal animals and then going into an animal career. Sierra worked as a kennel and vet assistant for a shelter for 3 years before grooming for 9 years. She still is grooming from home. Sierra is experienced in animal CPR and first aid. Very experienced with administering medications and working with nursing animals up to senior special needs animals. Sierra has had chinchillas, rabbits, birds, bearded dragons, snakes but of course dogs and cats as well. Lucas is an avid animal lover. His animal experience comes from his own personal animals as well as he has been pet sitting for a few years. He is very active and works their energy out through long walks, hiking, and playing with toys. Lucas has had bearded dragons, snakes, dogs and cats as personal animals and loved every second of it! We believe having someone do it from Rover provides a more personalized quality of care. They recieve a lot more attention and affection through private sitters than they do in large facilities. We work together so that we can accommodate everyone's wishes. We have super high expectations of care for our animals and we like to give those same standards to those we do pet care for. We are an all around animal fanatic. We love them all furry, fuzzy, hairy, feathery, and scaley. We believe when Pet parents are on vacation their pets should be too. We fully believe in spoiling and going above and beyond. We love taking dogs to the dog park and walking in all different parts of town. We have a cat room set up in our house with tons of toys and furniture to fully satisfy their needs. We believe in animals having a lot of love and affection, especially when they are already experiencing distance from their favorite people. Animals are not only something we are very passionate about but what we have revolved our lives around. Lucas is home all day and would be available to do 24 hour care. Sierra grooms Monday through Friday 8am until 12pm-1pm. If your pet care ends on the weekend and you want your pet to be groomed, arrangements can be made. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I recently got a fenced in dog run that I monitor dogs in so they can be off leash. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid.

About: Being in the military not only have I had special training with bigger dogs but also having close relatives with ESA (emotional support animals) I have always been very close and caring of animals as they are the most pure hearted things on the planet Currently all days are available and am willing to watch on weekends as well animals are the key to the soul and I’m excited they are apart of our lives I live not to far from a dog park and have many toys and space for animals I have a caring girlfriend as well who is very supportive of animals

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family pets, working in a pet boarding/daycare facility and currently in Pet Grooming School. I am currently working full time as a dog walker and would love to spend time playing with, exercising your pets, and making sure that they are well cared for. I can assure you I will attend to and care for your dog or cat in the best possible manner. Fences and gates will always be triple checked to ensure no escapes. About: Ever since I was young, I would take care of animals. I’ve wanted to have a career working with animals for as long as I can remember. About: I grew up on a farm. I was part of FFA (future farmers of America) and 4H growing up. I’ve cared for animals and their well being all my life. I currently work on a two week rotation. Meaning I’ll be in town for two weeks at a time, and out of town for two weeks. I’ll have weekdays from 8am to 5pm and weekends after 4pm. I have majority of the day to relax and exercise your puppies. I have a fenced in backyard and plenty of room for your pups to enjoy outside or if they are lazy butts; got a couch for them to relax on. I can also take your dogs on walks and or runs if that’s required for them.
