During those 12 years of grooming I specialized in creating a safe, comfortable and trusting environment for all pets, specifically anxious and senior ones. Brushing is only available for dogs who are not matted, moderate compaction from double coated dogs is okay. Prices for bathing, brushing and nails are based on size, coat condition and temperaments. I have an 8 year old Aussie/Heeler mix and my family has 2 dogs (german shepherd and a poodle mix), chickens and geese that we all chip in to take care of. About: I have always had pets, specifically indoor dogs and cats. I also have 2 years experience as a kennel tech at a boarding/grooming facility where I worked with dogs of all sizes, cats, reptiles, rabbits and other small mammals. I am comfortable with any size dog and most temperaments. Each dog deserves care and attention, I am well aware that certain breeds have more difficult personality traits (and for good reason, too!) so just let me know what your dog needs and I will gladly accommodate. I work full time but am available after 5pm on weekdays. I do have a flexible schedule so if you need something, I may be able to accommodate if I can work from home! I have open availability on the weekends. As someone with kennel tech experience, I am very comfortable crating dogs and taking them for walks, playing as much as they want, and adjusting to their specific needs. About: Active young professional working remote that is passionate about dogs, seeking to spend more time with them! My first dog was a mini poodle and I also have owned/fostered a pit bull, a collie, and many hound mixed. My aunt owns an animal shelter where I used to live in Connecticut and I spent a lot of time there exposed to various breeds. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my dog or other dogs living their best life. I can accommodate small dogs that just want some love but also active dogs since I walk about 6-8 miles a day already and would love company. There is a dog park on my street as well if they’d prefer an open area to run. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I find myself just wandering around, walking around the parks, and can accommodate your schedule! I have one small 7 year old beagle mix that your dog could spend time with. Our days would consist of many walks (some on their own and if they don’t mind / prefer company, some with my dog) snuggling, and playing at the dog park which is normally empty. I also enjoy hiking and exploring on the weekends if your dog is into that sort of thing.
