She kept in contact with me to let me know what was going on, wrote notes on everything she did and gave my babies attention and fed them while I was out of town. About: I have over 7 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities—from small breed seniors to high-energy breeds. Jinger (My own pup) is a 6-year-old Female Malinois-Lab mix, so I’m especially familiar with energetic dogs who need structure, attention, and enrichment to thrive. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, rescues, and dogs with unique needs—including leash reactivity, anxiety, and medical routines. The wonderful folks at Southside pet shop had taught me Animal Husbandry by the book (literally). During my time there I had taken care of a wide variety of pets in a professional setting. I comfortable caring cats, and exotic pets too- I am more than at home in a multi-pet household. I ALWAYS approach every pet with patience and empathy. I understand that every animal is different, so I change my care-style (never quality!) to match their needs—whether that’s a long walk, playtime, cuddles or medical needs. If you need drop-in visits, house sitting, or just someone to give your dog an afternoon potty break, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and loved. You can expect daily updates and plenty of photos, Rest assured! Pet sitting is my full-time profession and passion, alongside my work as a freelance artist. I have professional experience in animal husbandry; I’m able to provide attentive, reliable care. I enjoy doing both traditional and digital art; my favorite are pet portraits! If there is downtime while I am petsitting, I’m usually doing art! In both my own home and when caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the owners instructions, because I understand this routine is in place to keep them comfortable, and healthy. This includes using toys, treats and games to make their day rewarding and fun. Maintaining a clean environment is a top priority; food and water bowls are washed regularly and I always make sure each pet is fed according to their specified guidelines.

About: Some Senior Care Magic hands with dogs Feeding and Nutrition I have some experience with giving medications, but please tell me what works best for your pet. I currently am working part time for the summer so I will be able to check with your pets late at night and early morning. The most they'll be alone will probably be 5 hours. Most of time they won't be alone for Sundays. In your home, I'll make sure to walk them outside and if you have a backyard we'll play outside. We'll also play in any surrounded parks.

About: I've been a foster and pet sitter for mostly greyhounds for the past 20 years. Before that I always had dogs of my own. I've gone through obedience classes and grooming, and am pretty good with most temperaments. I am very available and flexible, since I'm retired and work part time from home. Evenings, weekends, holidays, whatever works for you and your pet. I can come to your home and let your dog out, walk, sit, or feed. Safety is a big factor and I'll do my best!

“Sierra is marvelous with my dogs! The older dog, a male, goes to pieces when strangers are around, but Sierra has made herself his buddy. I needed someone I could rely on to be good to my dogs, to be responsive and consistent, and it seems I've found her. I'm grateful, Sierra!”

“Brooklynn was lovely from start to finish! She kept us updated with photos and was very prompt and responsive with communication. We could tell she really takes the responsibility seriously and really loves animals :-) Definitely planning to rebook in the future!”

About: Hi, I'm Tammy. I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a very young girl. While you're away, your fur babies will be treated as special as if they were my very own. I will walk, feed, bathe (if requested), and provide lots and lots of snuggles. I'm a retired state government employee, so I'm now able to devote my time, attention, and affection towards taking care of your precious pet. I absolutely love animals, but I don't have any pets of my own, so I look very forward to showering your pets with attention and affection. I am available to let the puppies out for pottie breaks as often as needed and to let them run in the yard. My time will be devoted to your precious baby, and I can't wait to meet you and them! I will send you photos and/or messages throughout the day to keep you updated and reassured as often as you prefer. I have a fenced yard to keep your fur babies safe, happy and active. If your fur babies aren't active that's perfectly ok, too...they can lounge around and relax, watch TV, or listen to music. At night, your doggies can sleep with me if that's what they're used to, they can be crated, or sleep on their doggie bed. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible while you're away.

About: I grew up with both cats and a dog so I have experience caring for both! I also have cared for friend’s pets since high school so I have experience with pets that are not my own. Willing to work with both young and elderly animals of any kind! My current work schedule is on a week by week basis so I am available any time as long as it’s planned 3 days in advance. I will care for your pets the same way you do; send me any care instructions needed and I’ll make sure your fur babies are taken care of!

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, growing up we had birds, cats, chinchillas, dogs, fish, iguanas, and hamsters. As an adult I’ve cared for a dog everyday. I have a Shih Tzu, his name is Mr. Harley. I understand animals all have their own needs; whether it’s a puppy who needs lots of attention, love, and playtime, a senior or sick baby that needs love, rest, attention, and medications. Dietary needs are also important. I cook for Mr. Harley he eat a health diet of fresh veggies and protein. I work from home most of the time Monday to Friday. My schedule is very flexible. I make my own schedule which allows me the time to care for pets. At home here I have a nice size back yard. We have a privacy fence that wraps around back yard. This is great for exercise, potty breaks, and safety. My pet eats on a schedule twice a day and has a routine with his meds. Inside the house we have hard surface floors, but we have rugs laid out for balance and mobility. I try and give them everything they need.

About: I’ve been pet setting for as long as I can remember. Growing up, all my best friends’ families had pets, and once I was old enough, I’d get to house sit whenever they’d go out of town for vacation. I’ve gotten to hang out with and care for small pups, big dogs, and oh so many cats. I work from home full time and am super flexible with what hours I work, so I can completely tailor my schedule to your pet’s needs! I have a cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is safe and well taken care of. Whatever you need, I’ll make sure it gets done. As long as I’m supplied with instructions and can get in touch with you with any questions, I’ll be able to secure your pets and protect them according to your preferences and care standards.

“Jami had always gone above and beyond for pets. Always give great attention to detail and all the love she can give. Every pet is like her own♡”

Jill P.
“Jill was great with our pup Kiki. We left for 6 days and Jill was there the night before to make sure the trade off wasn’t tough on Kiki. It was our first time leaving her with a trusted friend and Jill followed our rules for her and the house (keeping doors shut, AC at our temp). She even made sure to play the soothing music for Kiki when she left the house which is how we like to keep her calm when she’s alone. Jill was great keeping our pup entertained and fed while keeping us in the loop. We will consider Jill the next time we go on a trip for sure!”
