“First time using Rover so I was a little bit nervous but Donna was AMAZING!! She spent a ton of time with my sweet boy! She sent pictures, took him on a walk, and even taught him a new trick (I literally booked her to drop in twice). You could just tell how much she cared about his comfort and well being; for instance, our heat went out and when the temperature dropped she offered to drive an extra two hours to bring him a heater! We live super far away from her and yet she still took an extra trip to come meet all of us. I could not recommend her enough! She’s wonderful!!”

“We always travel with our babies, but our eldest is going to be 12 this year, so it’s becoming more difficult to bring her along. I was very hesitant to use Rover, but I sent a request to Tiffany and she responded immediately and eased my concerns and answered all my questions. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats so I wanted to make sure it wasn’t overwhelming. She set up a meet and greet a day before which was very thoughtful and although my dogs are very verbal they seemed relax after a while which was a great sign. Tiffany was punctual and followed all the instructions we left for her, so when we got back home from our day trip our babies seemed content. We are very grateful for Tiffany and highly recommend her for anyone looking for her to take care of their fur babies like we did.”

About: I've grown up with German Shepherds, and can lift up to 70 pounds. I often house sat for friends and family. One in which had me take care of four dogs and four cats. My jobs included feeding, walking, and playing with the dogs. I do best with written instructions and am task oriented. I am prepared for different animal behaviors and conditions, as I possess a certificate for veterinary assistance. In my care your pet will be throughly loved and cared for. As of right now I am free any day of the week. I am more then willing to do holidays as well as weekends. About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care, attention, and adaptability I bring to every pet I look after. I treat each animal like they’re my own, which means taking the time to understand their personality, routine, and specific needs so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work fulltime but weekends I am fully available! I love animals and always have since I was little. Growing up we’ve always have had dogs and cats. I have a fenced yard and we have plenty of room for the dogs to run around. I do also have a pug that is 6 years old but he is super friendly.
About: I've personally had dogs since the age of 5. All of my dogs have been huge dogs over 90 pounds! I love all pets. I dog sit quite often, anywhere from 6 weeks to 10 years old. I have dealt with a lot of accidents that I totally do not mind picking up. If your dog needs a little more attention and activity that's even better for me! I currently am doing clovis community college online and I stay at home with my 3 big dogs. They love to go swimming so they do that everyday, especially cause it's too hot to walk them right now! I will almost never leave your pet unattended, which means they will be watched for however long you need me there. Hopefully that gets them to stay out of trouble.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
