“Mikayla and James watched my two cats for a week and were great! I was a little concerned at first since they have multiple pets of their own, and my cats can be shy, but they did an amazing job both giving them space and socializing with them! I got some great pictures and videos and was never worried about them during the week. I would 100% recommend and may in the future myself!”

About: I’ve cared for a playful Pomeranian and two energetic huskies over the years, giving me hands-on experience with a range of dog temperaments and energy levels. I’m very familiar with the needs of high-shedding breeds and know how important daily exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent routines are—especially for active dogs like huskies. Whether it’s a quick walk or extended playtime, I’m committed to giving each dog the care and attention they deserve. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available for walks and drop-in visits at any time of day, including early mornings and late evenings. I’m also happy to accommodate extra-long stays for pets who need a little extra attention—whether that means a calming brush-out, a bath, or just some extended one-on-one time. Whatever your pet needs, I’m here to help and happy to make their day a little brighter! All of my pet care services take place in the client’s home, as I’m currently unable to host animals in my apartment. This allows your pet to stay comfortable and stress-free in their familiar environment, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your home and your pet with the utmost respect and care.

About: While I don't have any special training with animals, I like to listen to what the owner and the animal needs for care. I genuinely love hanging out with them. I love how excited dogs get when I walk into a house, or how free they feel and excited they are for a walk. Or when cats rub up against you and love getting pets. Pets are like people, they're all unique and have their own personality and needs. That's what makes pets awesome, how different they all are. I'm currently working a few hours each week from home, so I have plenty of free time to hang out with pups, or kitties, or take dogs for a much need walk or bathroom break. Well that depends on the animal, because each pet is different. how comfortable they are with me, how many times do I need to be introduced to them, how the owner would like me to care for them. Theres a lot of factors that come into play, so I am willing to do what the owner would like to be done for their own pet.

“Very attentive! My skittish Aussie bonded easily with Emily’s quiet energy and gentle approach. The vigorous walks contributed as well😊”

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I got my first dog when I was 16. I currently have a pit bull/lab mix who is 3 years old who loves everyone. I love all types of dogs and have been around them and pet sitting since I was 16. About: Available for dog walking and house sitting. I prefer to do this at your house, as my dogs are quite large and prefer only larger dogs. I am a licensed veterinary technician currently working at a local veterinary hospital in the Plattsburgh area. I have been in the animal healthcare field for 10 years. I am looking to make some extra money in my free time. I currently have 4 dogs of my own ranging from 6 months to 10 years old. I am willing to work with any size dogs and cats as well. I am also able to administer medications or any special care your pet may need while you are away from home. If you have any special requests or questions please do not hesitate to ask. Schedule availability varies. I am able to schedule drop in visits, lunch time walks and pet sitting around my full time schedule as needed with notice. Let me know what you need and we can figure out a schedule that works for both of us. Will walk your pet, spend couch time or outdoor play time as needed. Comfortable with feeding routines and various medication administration protocols if needed. Also comfortable with many behavior and personality types. Will adjust my care depending on your pets "normal" to keep them as comfortable as possible while you are away.

About: I am an animal lover and active walker. I am looking to help local pet owners find someone to take their dog for a walk by the lake or to Point Au Roche for an outing. I already walk 3-5 miles each morning. I'd also like to make a little extra money for a rainy day fund. If you live in the same neighborhood, I could pick up your dog each morning for a nice casual walk by the lake. I would prefer that you have your dog, their leash, treats and waste bags ready for pick-up at your home. I can easily self-navigate to let myself in and out without disturbing your home.

About: I have taken care of pets for family and friends since I was about 12 years old. I have been responsible for feeding, walking, playing with, toileting, and loving peoples most beloved family members I work 8am-4:30pm daily so my schedule would be purrrfect for evening/night shifters. I am off weekends so I can be available for all of your pet care needs then! I am currently not offering in home services at this time. I will be able to come to your home to provide whatever services are needed.

“Julia did an excellent job watching our fur baby during our weekend getaway. We got updates of how the dog was doing, and got pictures of her playing the yard. We came back to a happy dog, and will definitely be using her again in future.”

About: I adopted my own cat about 7 years ago. I added a dog to our family dynamic also, about 4 years ago. During the summer, prior to owning my own pets, I would regularly pet sit for local families, who needed someone to check in on their furry companion. During the summer and over holidays, my daughter spends a lot of time with her father. This opens up my schedule to add in extra fun activities, like checking in on your pets while you're away. I will follow any instructions given to care for your pet while you're away. Please be as specific as possible, since each pet may need specific care, or have their own routine they're accustomed to.

Kimberly C.
“Kim checked in on my cat, Princess Buttercup, every day while I was away on vacation, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. She spent about 15 minutes each visit making sure food, water, and litter were all in order—and most importantly, giving Princess some much-loved playtime, pets, and cuddles. I’d occasionally check in on my Ring camera and it was such a relief to see my cat getting attention and care while I was gone. The service was exactly as promised, and I’d absolutely trust Kim to care for Princess again in the future.”

Mikayla W.
“Mikayla has a great love for animals and has experience caring for both cats and dogs of all ages, from kitten and puppy to elderly. She often cares for her parents elderly Golden Retriever and adult lab/beagle mix when they are out of town and has two spoiled and well taken care of cats of her own. Selecting her to look after your pet will mean putting your trust into someone who will love your animals as much as you do and giving you the peace of mind while you are away!”
