About: Hi, I’m Hope! I’m a lifelong animal lover and pet owner with experience caring for cats, dogs, rodents, fish, reptiles, and pets with unique needs. I’ve pet sat on and off for many years for family friends and neighbors, and I also worked at a science museum where I assisted with the handling and care of reptiles and other animals. I love getting to know each pet’s personality, routine, and little quirks, whether that means extra playtime, patience with a shy animal, or carefully following specific feeding and care instructions. I currently have a 3-year-old tuxedo cat named Soup Du Jour, who is wonderfully spoiled and has some medical needs, including oral medication every other day, allergies, stomach issues, and dietary restrictions. About: I’ve taken care of pets and animals for an incredibly long time. Since I was a child, even. I grew up with dogs and cats. All of my friends ask me to petsit for them because I am so good at it. I’m perceptive, can multitask very well, and caring. I’m also very good at following directions to a T. I love animals, and naturally, my own heart yearns to protect animals to keep them safe and happy. Sitting does this for me, and I am grateful for this. I can take care of all types of dog breeds and cat breeds. Including fish, reptiles, and rodents. Even the “scarier ones”, like spiders or snakes. I’m currently working by picking up random jobs when I am available. And so, I can truly choose whenever to work. My availability is incredibly flexible. My availability is literally all the time. Depending on the house I’m sitting at, I’ll improvise. But, if I do notice that something needs to be done or brought in order to keep those pets safe and sound, I will absolutely go grab it or have it delivered so I can find a solution.
