About: I have had a pet in my home since I was born. The first dog I remember was Ginger, then PJ, then Sparkie, then Jenna and Millie, Anja and Argus, then Bonnie and Clyde, and now we have our very friendly buddy, Gustav. They ranged from a miniature Schnauzer and Jack Russels to Rottweilers and German Shepherds. My closest friend's dad bred and trained German Shepherds while I was in high school. I was surrounded by a pack most of my life and loved it. I owned a local pup friendly pub for 14 years and made it a point to great every dog that came in. I am hoping for the chance to see some of those dogs again! My current schedule is very flexible, so I can focus on the pet's care when they need it. I understand that different pets require different things at different times and I am able and willing to accommodate with a bit of forewarning. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly 10 month old puppy who loves new company. He and I go for walks around our neighborhood daily and we do outings to the park a few times a week. I have 2 cats that are indifferent to dogs and they have their own separate space so they can be alone if they want. I deep clean the litter boxes at least twice a week and would be happy to do the same for your kitties at your home. (Access to a hose outside is very helpful for this) I have room for crates and pets are not left outside unattended. I am very vigilant about picking up poop and want to keep a clean yard for the pups to play in.

About: I have over 40 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I will treat your fur babies as if they are my own. I work from home so they will not be alone for more than 2-3 hours. Frequent potty breaks and play time in the fenced backyard. Naps on the sofa or any of the dog beds around the house. I know how hard it is to find someone you trust. Marquita took great care of my puppy! I was nervous leaving her for the first time, especially since she’s still learning, but Marquita was so patient, flexible, and talked me through everything. My pup had a great time and came home happily exhausted, even sleeping through the night. I would absolutely book with her again.

We are SO pleased with Ashleigh and her set up. We have a 70lb puppy who wants to play, run, and cuddle. Check, check and check! Have received many pictures of play/running, and even rest time inside: lying down next to another dog (!). Ashleigh is very genuine and her cheerful and warm attutude with us as owners and with all the dogs is super reassuring, and the pictures prove that our pup is having a playful and balanced time.
