I especially enjoy caring for high-energy dogs who need regular exercise—I’m always up for long walks, playtime, or outdoor adventures. I also have experience with senior dogs, and I understand the importance of patience, gentle handling, and keeping routines consistent. I’ve successfully trained dogs to potty outside, sit on command, and even walk off-leash. Whether your pup is young and active or older and needs a slower pace, I’ll make sure they’re well cared for while you’re away. I function better with a dog at my side. Dogs help me start my day with purpose—there’s nothing like a good morning walk to get us both moving and ready for breakfast and whatever the day brings. I love building routines that keep dogs active, happy, and well cared for. I work remotely, so my schedule is very flexible and allows me to be fully present for pet care throughout the day. With cats, I understand how much they value consistency. I’m attentive to their morning and evening routines—feeding, cleaning the litter box, and giving them space or affection depending on their mood. I also make time for play and interaction throughout the day, based on each cat’s personality. Communication is everything. I try to make sure I understand each animal's boundaries and needs before providing care, this includes list of allergies and medications.

“Carrianne did a wonderful job caring for my dog when I went out of town for a weekend. Penny takes some time to warm up to people and Carrianne was very patient and understanding throughout that process. She followed the care instructions I left and sent daily updates with important information (e.g., walks, eating habits, general behavior) with photos. She also stayed overnight in my apartment and left everything really tidy. I couldn't be happier with the care Penny received and will definitely rebook for future travel plans!”

About: My family and I have owned and taken care of animal since the day I was born. I began taking care of dogs and cats about 3 years ago. I have 3 rescue dogs who I love to take to the dog park so they can run around and socialize. I’m very good with anxious dogs, as one of mine has had rough past. I am a student-athlete so I am very busy. One of my favorite things to do to decompress is to go for walks with my fur babies. I’m active and can keep up with just about any shape or size of dog. I wash my dogs about once every two weeks and clip their nails at home. I have a very busy schedule around swim practice and school but I am willing to wake up very early to walk some pets before school. Now that I am in college, I have a much more flexible schedule to work around classes and practice. I have experience with administering medication to dogs and practice safe walking behaviors (always wearing high visibility clothing, correct side of the road, dog on the inside, etc.).

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from all ages since I was 14! I’ve had a couple dogs of my own as well who have since passed away. I will treat your pet like they are my own! I love to find new trails, parks, and of course local coffee shops that give out the best pup cups. I work as a nurse anywhere between 3-5 times a week. Most of my weekends are free, giving me time to care for your pets! My hours can be flexible depending on my work week. I have a crate and plenty of space for your dog in my apartment. It’s currently just me who lives there. There are plenty of dogs in the neighborhood to play with and socialize. Living right by the lake, there are countless trails and open spaces that are dog friendly for me and your dog to explore.

About: I have always loved animals. I have taken many dogs on walks for my family members, from small poodles, to larger German shepherds. I have been responsible for caring for many pets while my friends and family members were on vacation, including feeding them and taking them on walks! I am a graduate student with an incredibly flexible schedule. I am available on most days during most hours and would love to take some time of my day caring for your pet! I would love to play with your pet in your home, using any toys or simply taking longer walks. I always be sure to lock doors behind me when leaving homes
