“Arlissa is THE best! My girl is a barker and she handles her wonderfully. Arlissa sends little videos throughout the stay so I can see how Valkyrie is getting along! So far Arlissa is the only Rover sitter I’ve used.I’m sure there are others that are good, but Arlissa is AWESOME!”

“My shy pup had such an amazing time at Abigail's! He's always so eager to come home and see me arrive, but when I came to pick him up from Abgails, he wasn't ready to leave! About: I’ve loved and cared for a variety of animals throughout my life. I’ve had dogs, cats, a parakeet, hamsters, gerbils, rats, ferrets, fish, a bearded dragon, and a red tail boa. I LOVE animals. When I was a kid I would even spend my weekends at our local pet shop holding and playing with their animals. I am a mother of two teenagers, and have been a small business owner, so I am extremely responsible, reliable, caring, attentive to detail, and have the skills to do anything necessary to care for your pets. I am available most of the time, and my time is flexible. I recently sold my half of my small business and am now taking some time for myself (that I want to fill with animals!), so I am almost always available and flexible. We have a fenced in yard, but we also live in a beautiful historic neighborhood and love taking walks around the neighborhood and to the park as often as possible.

“Casey and her brother were fantastic with Wren! She came back tired from playing all day, and ready to cuddle up and sleep! Casey sent me updates with pictures and videos throughout the 9 hours she had her, which made me feel good about leaving my girl with her!”

“I appreciate Sierra and how responsive she was with messages, gave updates and worked with my schedule. My pup came home tired after a full day of getting energy out and playing.”

“I was very happy with how things went; was in the Dayton area to check out a business possibility and wasn't sure how long I might need daycare for. Carol & Jessica were very flexible, and I was comfortable leaving my pup Maggie with them on a Saturday morning. Highly recommend!”

“Highly recommend Daphne. It was the first time leaving our puppy and Daphne and her family were great and so welcoming from the meet and greet to final pick up. Daphne sent pics and videos throughout the day and our puppy was clearly happy and being well cared for. All aspects of our experience 5 stars!!”

About: We’ve had dogs of all sizes in our home since I can remember. And I’ve raised a few of my own along with 2 cats I am available all week. I can check in on your pets and let them out and feed them according to your routine. I will also walk your pets. I can also board and host daily care of multiple pets. You can leave me any detailed instructions on how you’d like your pet cared for. I’ll come in and take them out into the yard to do their business, or change their pads/clean up cat litter and clean any messes they may have left. If they need to be fed I’ll give them food and water also according to your instructions. And if they need to be walked around the neighborhood or park I can do that also. When they are in my home you can bring toys, beds, or Blankets that they feel more comfortable in, but I can provide that as well. You may bring your own food that does well for their diet.

“Elya sent plenty of pictures of the stay, my sam looked genuinely happy as he was receiving all the belly scratches he could ask for, was flexible with pickup and drop off day of as I was not sure when I originally booked, she followed my care instruction to a T has been one of my best rover sitters yet will definitely use again! Thanks so much from me &sam again!”

About: I am an experienced pet owner of many years with many different species. As a child, I had gerbils and snails and as an adult, I currently have 3 cats, 2 dogs and 2 rabbits. Throughout the years, I have also been involved in rescuing and rehoming friendly strays that I have found along this journey called life and fostering and boarding pets for friends and family. I have also assisted in reuniting pets (2 cats) with their owners, and that was extremely rewarding. I am currently a stay at home person due to complications of the pandemic and this will probably be my situation for a while so I will be available at all hours of the day. I can take in pets as early as 5:30am for pet sitting, if you need to be at work early. I can board on any day as well. Your pet just needs to be good with cats, who are free roaming around the house and not have a strong prey drive because my bunnies reside in the front part of my living room. I have a nontraditional fenced in yard, in that I do not have a gate in the entrance of the yard but a fence that blocks entry and exit. It is a 4' high fence that I put together until I can get a gate to replace it. My own dogs, one of whom likes to wander, are not able to get out of the yard unless I open the fencing for them.

About: Hello there! My name is Abby and I am a 27 year old exotic animal keeper. I have several different species ranging from large snakes to chameleons. I have been caring for exotic species for the last four years. I also care for dogs and cats. I’ve had 20 years of dog and cat care experience. I got my first dog, Sophie, when I was just five years old. Throughout the years, I cared for her and many other dogs and cats growing up. Right now, I have three of my own dogs and fourteen cats who are extremely spoiled! When watching your pet, expect them to be spoiled and loved just like they’re my own. I have experience with giving medication to both cats and dogs. I also have a senior cat and know how to provide care for any senior animal. I can care for your exotic animals in my house, as I have a separate room for my own exotics. I also can provide drop in visits for your furry friends. I have worked as a foster for shelters in Columbus for two years as well, so I am used to providing 24/7 care for other animals. I work from home full time, so I am able to have a very flexible schedule. If you need your animal cared for in my home, I am able to provide that service. I get off of work in the early evening, which gives me plenty of time to do drop in visits after work. My yard is fenced in, which is great for your doggie kiddos. I also do not let my cats outdoors, so any cat staying with me will be safe in the home. I have an upstairs area where I could house your pet away from my personal animals if that is wanted. I do ask that your pets be friendly with cats and dogs regardless. Small dogs are okay to be boarded in my home, as well as any cats as long as they are litter box trained.
