“Sofia was great with our dog, he immediately felt comfortable with her. I could tell Sofia has had a lot of experience with animals based on how she handled our dog with ease and confidence. I will definitely be trusting her with our dog again.”

Over: I offer calm, reliable care and treat each dog as an individual. I’ve owned a black Labrador and two cats, so I’m used to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also worked with several long-term clients across the Netherlands, and I focus on keeping dogs comfortable, settled, and cared for the way they’re used to. I'm only studying twice a week and not working at the moment, so I am available at any time. Petsitting will fit perfectly into my current routine I care for pets in their own home, where they feel most at ease. I follow their usual routines, keep their space calm and safe, and make sure they feel comfortable, settled, and looked after while their owners are away
Over: Hello, my name is Josh, and I have loved dogs and animals all my life… When I was five years old, I met my neighbor’s puppies, Buster and Bella. They were some of my best friends for the next decade and a half. Tragically, they have since passed on of old age. Now I am good friends with the new dog, Dexter. Buster always loved playing with the ball; he had seemingly limitless energy. Bella loved nothing more than some nice scratches. Affectionately, I called her Grandma Bella because she had been around for perhaps as long as my grandparents. In summer, my favorite activities are blueberry picking, hanging with the neighbor's dogs, and then going swimming. As for now, I am looking forward to helping some folks out with the dog & pet watching! Happy to do intercity travel for an increased rate:) + negotiable rates. I recently finished my master study at Utrecht University, and am currently searching for a full time role. As such, for the moment I am available pretty much whenever to look after your wonderful pets! Keeping your pet company, walks, runs, biking, feeding, and all pet care of importance. I will make sure to show the upmost respect to your wonderful home and pets!
“Camila is walking my 4 years old Jack Russell Terrier since few weeks ago on weekly basis. I am very happy and grateful to find such a kind, reliable and thoughtful dog walker! Camila adjusts to our flexible working schedule and even organizes help with the walks when she is away! Fado really likes walking with her. Thank you Camilla for keeping up with his energy!”

Over: Hi! I’m a student with a flexible schedule and plenty of free time. I come from a multi-pet home with three cats (2–3 years old) and three Bichon Frises (two are 9, one is 6—the 6-year-old is the puppy of the two seniors), and I’ve cared for them since middle school—bathing, daily walks, basic grooming, calm introductions, senior-friendly pacing, and good leash manners. All three cats are rescues—an orange tabby, a tuxedo, and a classic tabby—smart and full of personality; I often cook cat meals and understand feline diets, picky appetites, and body language. One cat was sick when I found her, and after long-term, patient care and vet follow-ups she’s now healthy, so I’m comfortable with pets needing extra TLC. For house sitting (in your home) and dog walking, I follow your routines closely (feeding, litter/yard, play/walk times), keep your home tidy, and share clear photo/video updates; I’m also comfortable giving simple oral or topical meds (no injections). Availability: weekdays and weekend afternoons. Hi! I’m a student with a flexible schedule and plenty of free time. So I’m very comfortable with both feline moods and canine routines—especially seniors who need a calmer pace. I am available on weekdays and weekend afternoons. If you need a specific time window, tell me and I’ll try to accommodate. I currently live alone in a quiet, non-smoking apartment with no pets or roommates. I primarily offer in-home care at your place and dog walking. In your home I follow your routines exactly, keep doors/windows secured, never bring guests, and keep everything tidy. Dogs are walked on-leash only, away from busy roads and dog parks unless you request otherwise; I check harness fit, carry water, and wipe paws after walks. Cats stay strictly indoors; I double-check doors/windows, refresh water, scoop the litter, and use calm, low-stress handling. I can give simple oral/topical meds and send photo/video updates each visit. If anything looks off, I contact you immediately. Meet-and-greet welcome.

Growing up surrounded by dogs and cats, I’ve always had a deep love for animals and cared for them. Later, having dogs and cats of my own further strengthened my bond with them. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, whether it's playing, running, or simply being active together. Watching them happy and well-cared for brings me both energy and fulfillment!
“Fabian is a reliable dog walker who takes his job seriously. He takes good care of our dog Tijn. Tijn, 9 months old Stafford/Beauceron and not the most easiest dog to handle, is fond about Fabian and loves the long walks with him. The stayover during the night also went very well and we came home to a happy dog. Tijn is really looking forward to the next walk!”

Over: Hi! I'm Jess and I am a dog mom to 11-year-old Siberian Husky, Luna. She is a sweet, energetic, confident dog who loves all kinds of people and other dogs. She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. (over 20 states!) and now has made her way with us across the ocean to The Netherlands. Even before becoming a Rover sitter, I cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs on many occasions including a beagle, a husky and a golden retriever and grew up with shih tzu and a cockapoo, who I loved to play with and walk around the neighborhood. Before moving to The Netherlands, we most recently lived in Richmond, Virginia and enjoyed walking the many urban hiking trails and parks together. Since I started pet sitting through Rover, I have stayed with and looked after all of different kinds of pups including senior pups, puppies, and all different sizes of dogs from toy to large. I’ve also cared for other caged pets in the same home like rabbits when needed. I care for them all like they are my very own Luna girl. My husband is also a Rover sitter and will sometimes accompany me. David has always been a dog lover and loves to give my clients some extra attention while you’re away. He is also a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran and as such is very good under pressure/does not hesitate to act when dealing with anything out of the ordinary like illness or injury. My clients and I are very lucky to have him by my side when he does come along during bookings. About My Services: I am confident with standard commands in English and am learning some in Dutch as well. I also speak French and am happy to learn and practice commands in any language that suits your pet. All of my services are customizable to your pets needs, but below is a list of what is typically included in my Standard Rate with and without overnight stay, as well as my Constant Care Rate, which I have limited availability to accept, but will consider if I am available and your pet’s needs require it. Standard Rate w/overnight stay: -potty breaks every 4-6 hours during awake hours, depending on your pet’s needs (can accommodate 3-4 hours for young puppies*) -feeding & medication 1-3x per day -1 30-60 min walks/playtimes time per day (can be split into 2 15-30 min walks/playtimes) -2-3 updates per day -overnight stay -2-4 hours/day of time spent at home during awake hours for your pet’s comfort, mental stimulation, or play time during the day Standard rate - no overnight stay: -potty breaks every 4-6 hours during awake hours, depending on your pet’s needs (can accommodate 3-4 hours for young puppies*) -feeding and medication 1-3x per day -1 30-60 min walks/playtimes time per day (can be split into 2 15-30 min walks/playtimes) -2-3 updates per day -no overnight stay -4-8 hours/day of time spent at home during awake hours for your pet’s comfort, mental stimulation, play time or other particular needs during the day Constant Care Rate (2x Standard Rate): -frequent potty breaks (less than 4 hours between) during awake hours -feeding & medication as needed (typically 2-3x a day) -1 30-60 min walks per day (can be split into 2 15-30 min walks) -2-3 updates per day -overnight stay -8-10 hours/day of time spent at home during awake hours for your pet’s comfort, mental stimulation, play time or other particular needs during the day -2-4 hours of time away for pet sitter per day (can be split up into 1-2 hour intervals) *All dogs are different and I will rely on your recommendation for your pets, but as a rule of thumb a puppy can typically hold its bladder for the number of hours equal to its age in months plus one I work remotely and part-time and have plenty of flexibility to accommodate your pet’s unique routine and needs during the week or on the weekend. <~~>~~<~~>~~<~~>~~<~~> Pet and Pet Sitter Safety: I have stayed with dogs who have easy access to a fenced outdoor space and with those who do not, so I am comfortable with ensuring leashes and/or gates are always secure. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.
