Over: Sinds mijn 15e hebben wij thuis een lieve labrador, waarmee ik zelf veel trainingen en de opvoeding heb verzorgd. Ook heb ik al veel bij andere honden en katten mogen oppassen als de baasjes met vakantie waren. U kunt van mij een liefdevolle aanpak verwachten voor uw dieren, maar ik ben ook duidelijk voor de dieren. Ik ben zelfstandig fotograaf en daarnaast ook oppas bij kinderen thuis, dus mijn werkdagen zijn redelijk flexibel. Ik heb een aantal vaste momenten in de week, maar ook nog wat lege momenten. Deze zou ik dus kunnen vullen met het uitlaten/verzorgen van andere dieren. Ik ben een vertrouwd persoon, ik zal altijd met respect en privacy in uw huis zijn. Ik ben er voor de dieren en zal mij daar volledig op richten.

Dieren zijn meestal snel op hun gemak bij mij, ik kan uren met ze wandelen, spelen en kroelen. Omdat ik nu zelf geen huisdieren heb, lijkt het me leuk om te helpen uw hond/kat te verzorgen. Ik werk meestal thuis en ben in de weekenden vaak flexibel, genoeg mogelijkheden in de planning om aandacht te geven aan uw hond of kat! Over: Hello, my name is Josh, and I have loved dogs and animals all my life… When I was five years old, I met my neighbor’s puppies, Buster and Bella. They were some of my best friends for the next decade and a half. Tragically, they have since passed on of old age. Now I am good friends with the new dog, Dexter. Buster always loved playing with the ball; he had seemingly limitless energy. Bella loved nothing more than some nice scratches. Affectionately, I called her Grandma Bella because she had been around for perhaps as long as my grandparents. In summer, my favorite activities are blueberry picking, hanging with the neighbor's dogs, and then going swimming. Over: Hi! I'm Jess and I am a dog mom to 11-year-old Siberian Husky, Luna. She is a sweet, energetic, confident dog who loves all kinds of people and other dogs. She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. (over 20 states!) and now has made her way with us across the ocean to The Netherlands. Even before becoming a Rover sitter, I cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs on many occasions including a beagle, a husky and a golden retriever and grew up with shih tzu and a cockapoo, who I loved to play with and walk around the neighborhood. Before moving to The Netherlands, we most recently lived in Richmond, Virginia and enjoyed walking the many urban hiking trails and parks together. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.
