Over: Ik ben een betrouwbare, zorgzame en geduldige dierenliefhebber die elk huisdier behandelt alsof het mijn eigen is. Ik neem de tijd om hun karakter en behoeften te leren kennen, zodat ze zich veilig en op hun gemak voelen. Ik heb oog voor detail en houd me zorgvuldig aan de dagelijkse routine van je huisdier, zoals wandelingen, voeding, medicatie en speeltijd. Ook heb ik geduld met jonge huisdieren en kan ik helpen met het aanleren van basisgewoonten, zoals zindelijkheid en rustig meelopen aan de lijn. Daarnaast geef ik oudere huisdieren de extra aandacht, rust en zorg die zij nodig hebben. Tijdens de oppasperiode houd ik je graag op de hoogte met foto’s en updates, zodat je met een gerust hart van huis kunt zijn. Mijn doel is dat zowel jij als je huisdier zich prettig en vertrouwd voelen. Momenteel heb ik geen werk dus ik kan de hele dag bezig zijn met jullie katten of honden! Ik hou van lekker wandelen, veel spelen en lekker knuffelen! Ik heb de reeuwijkse plassen op 5 minuten afstand, ik heb een klein grasveldje op 100 m afstand en ze mogen op de bank. Ik zorg uiteraard dat er 24:7 water en eten staat

Over: Many of my friends and neighbours come to me for pet sitting - dogs and cats. I send them pictures every day, and the owners often say that their pets look so happy with me!! I'm gentle while firm, and will help your little animal stick to the rules and training, while giving them so much love that they deserve. I also have experience taking care of rabbits, guinea pigs, and parakeets. I work from home fully, so very flexible with my schedule and open to adapting to the needs of your little one. A typical schedule - 08:00 - a morning leg stretch; 12:00 - a bit of running in the neighbourhood park; 18:00 - a digestive walk to the lush dog park; 22:00 - a chill evening stroll. I have a big enough apartment for 3~5 animals, and they'll have plenty of space to run around! Your little animal will be allowed on furniture and the whole apartment, but not on the bed

Over: Mijn naam is Yael, 33 jaar oud en woon met mijn vriend Reno en jonge kinderen (4 en 2 jaar) in Gouderak. Wij hebben zelf een dwergkees van 6 jaar en een paar kippen (deze zijn afgesloten van de tuin). Rox houdt niet van al te drukke honden dus het liefst wat rustigere honden :). We hebben een grote tuin met een afgesloten hek waar ze heerlijk kunnen spelen en omdat ik thuis werk is hier altijd wel iemand thuis! Omdat wij jonge kinderen hebben is het belangrijk dat je hond goed met kinderen overweg kan. Ze weten dat ze geen honden moeten optillen en kunnen er zelf goed mee omgaan. Ik werk thuis dus je hond krijgt alle aandacht! Dus zoek je een oppas voor je viervoeter, stuur mij gerust een berichtje en dan maken we snel kennis! Groetjes Yael en Roxy! Er is hier altijd iemand thuis om je hondje de aandacht te geven die hij/zij nodig heeft :) dit in verband met thuiswerken en roostervrije dagen We hebben een grote omheinde tuin waar je hond heerlijk kan spelen. Onze kids vinden het ook heel leuk om met honden een bal te gooien oid. Je hond krijgt hier alle liefde en aandacht :)

Over: I grew up with dogs and, as an adult, have regularly cared for dogs for friends, so I feel very comfortable and confident around them. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going for active walks and playtime or simply relaxing together for a cuddle on the couch. I am the sole caregiver and will always be the one responsible for your dog’s care and supervision. I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is in safe, reliable hands. I do have an 8-year-old child who is present after school hours. He is very gentle, respectful, and absolutely loves dogs. He enjoys playing and cuddling with them, but your dog will never be left alone with him—I am always present and supervising interactions to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work full time, but I am self-employed, so can bring dogs with me to work. From there we can go for a longer walk around lunchtime, or shorter toilet breaks as necessary. Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

Over: I grew up around dogs my whole life, so I’m very experienced taking care of them. Since moving to Amsterdam, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends here, everything from quick drop-in visits to longer stays of up to 15 days. I live in a big apartment with my partner, who also loves pets, so we’d be two people looking after yours and it would rarely be alone. We’re close to Erasmuspark, great for walks and playtime, and our place has a big balcony too. I work from home most of the time and only go to the office once a week, so I’m around most days. Happy to take dogs on long walks, or just spend lots of time at home if it’s a cat! Sleeping in the bedroom with me is totally fine, or the living room if your pet prefers sleeping on its own. We currently don’t have any pets of our own. I can do both during the week and weekends. Right now I work from home 4 days a week and I go to the office once a week. This is flexible though, so I can also stay home full-time if needed. I love giving lots of affection and spending quality time with the pets in my care. I do have an active social life, but when I have an animal with me, I try to stay home as much as possible so they feel accompanied and don’t feel alone. If it’s a dog, I really enjoy long walks, so I’d take them along with me. I prefer looking after pets at my own place, but in some cases I’m also open to pet sitting at the owner’s home. As for sleeping, I’m flexible, they can sleep in the bedroom with me or in the living room, whatever they’re more used to. As for pets, I don’t own any currently.

Over: Ik heb het geluk gehad om vaak op te mogen passen op de leukste hondjes van vrienden. Dit is iets wat ik vaker wil doen! Ik werk als zzp'er vanuit huis dus ik ben heel flexibel en met genoeg tijd om voldoende aandacht te kunnen geven aan de hondjes. Ik woon in een vrijstaand huis met een grote omheinde tuin. Dus er kan vaak genoeg een frisse neus gehaald worden! Ook zijn mijn ouders vaak thuis om op te passen, mocht ik weg moeten. Er is daarom altijd wel iemand thuis.

Over: Hallo ik ben Linh en ben gek op dieren, door op te passen op jouw hond of kat maak je mij heel blij. Omdat ik zelf momenteel geen huisdieren heb maar wel de behoefte aan gezelschap van dieren leek het mij een win-win situatie om mijzelf hier beschikbaar te stellen om op huisdieren te passen. Wij wonen in een rijtjeshuis van 143 vierkantemeter met tuin, in de omgeving is veel groen waar ook genoeg uitlaat plaatsen zijn, dit betekend dat er korte maar ook lange wandelingen gemaakt kunnen worden. Ik hoop dat we snel kennis kunnen maken ! Ik werk veel vanuit huis en ben daardoor vrijwel altijd thuis. Dat betekent dat ik alle tijd en aandacht heb voor de verzorging van huisdieren. Mijn dagindeling is flexibel, waardoor ik gemakkelijk wandelmomenten, voedingstijden en speeltijd kan aanpassen aan de behoeften van het dier. Het gezelschap van een dier past dus perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine. Bij verzorging bij mij thuis zorg ik voor een rustige, veilige en huiselijke omgeving. Ik woon in een woning van 143 m² met een tuin, waar dieren voldoende ruimte hebben om te ontspannen en spelen. Er komt weinig tot geen bezoek, wat zorgt voor rust en stabiliteit. Ik houd de routine van het dier zo veel mogelijk aan, met vaste voedingstijden, wandelingen en rustmomenten. Elk dier krijgt persoonlijke aandacht en wordt met liefde verzorgd alsof het mijn eigen huisdier is. Bij verzorging bij het baasje thuis volg ik nauwkeurig de instructies op. Ik respecteer de gewoontes van het dier, zorg voor een vertrouwde sfeer en geef regelmatig updates aan de eigenaar. Of het nu gaat om voeding, beweging of medicatie – ik ben alert en toegewijd aan het welzijn van het dier.

Over: I’ve lived with both cats and dogs: grew up with a stubborn teckel, and more recently adopted a senior cat. I love the energy of puppies and the peace of old aged pets. Due to my schedule I can’t adopt anymore but miss that contact and energy. I do mostly have a hectic schedule, but the days or periods when I’m off I can adapt and give my full attention to your pet. I live in an apartment with a small high fenced garden. Besides that I live next to a big park that allows for long walks a runs.

Over: Two Dalmatians, a chihuahua, a Pomeranian and three mutts were my siblings growing up. I took care of them through every vet visit, may it be grooming days, sick days, or the few times they’ve given birth to puppies! I currently work part time so I am mostly at home and can do check-ins or walks, this is updated on my Rover calendar. I stay alert on walks and during home-sitting with pets. Care instructions for your little one will be carefully followed and depending on your preference, I can send updates throughout the sitting.

Over: I grew up with pets (dogs and rodents) and have taken care of pets practically my whole life. 5 years ago, I took a wonderful boy called Charlie home from the shelter (you can see him in all of my pictures). He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I recently started a PhD and am therefore not home during work days (mo-fr). This is why I currently am not in the position of adopting a dog myself, but would love to take care of dogs on the weekends when I am home. When taking care of a dog I adjust my routine to meet the needs of the dog. I try to suit the needs of the animal and respect their boundaries. If they prefer to be lazy or alone, I give them space, if they prefer interaction and play, I give them attention. I feed them and walk them as agreed with the owner.
