Over: Ik ben een betrouwbare, zorgzame en geduldige dierenliefhebber die elk huisdier behandelt alsof het mijn eigen is. Ik neem de tijd om hun karakter en behoeften te leren kennen, zodat ze zich veilig en op hun gemak voelen. Ik heb oog voor detail en houd me zorgvuldig aan de dagelijkse routine van je huisdier, zoals wandelingen, voeding, medicatie en speeltijd. Ook heb ik geduld met jonge huisdieren en kan ik helpen met het aanleren van basisgewoonten, zoals zindelijkheid en rustig meelopen aan de lijn. Daarnaast geef ik oudere huisdieren de extra aandacht, rust en zorg die zij nodig hebben. Tijdens de oppasperiode houd ik je graag op de hoogte met foto’s en updates, zodat je met een gerust hart van huis kunt zijn. Mijn doel is dat zowel jij als je huisdier zich prettig en vertrouwd voelen. Momenteel heb ik geen werk dus ik kan de hele dag bezig zijn met jullie katten of honden! Ik hou van lekker wandelen, veel spelen en lekker knuffelen! Ik heb de reeuwijkse plassen op 5 minuten afstand, ik heb een klein grasveldje op 100 m afstand en ze mogen op de bank. Ik zorg uiteraard dat er 24:7 water en eten staat

Over: Ik heb het geluk gehad om vaak op te mogen passen op de leukste hondjes van vrienden. Dit is iets wat ik vaker wil doen! Ik werk als zzp'er vanuit huis dus ik ben heel flexibel en met genoeg tijd om voldoende aandacht te kunnen geven aan de hondjes. Ik woon in een vrijstaand huis met een grote omheinde tuin. Dus er kan vaak genoeg een frisse neus gehaald worden! Ook zijn mijn ouders vaak thuis om op te passen, mocht ik weg moeten. Er is daarom altijd wel iemand thuis.

Over: Both of us are currently working from home, and our schedules allow us to be flexible to care for your pet. There will always be 2 pairs of watchful eyes on your pet and we will never leave them unattended even if they are sleeping. We also love taking walks in nature, so we would be very happy to walk your dog and spend time with them outdoors. Our weekends are very flexible, so we are open to also watching your pets for a longer duration! We have a quiet apartment, with plenty of space for the pets to run around and play. As we regularly pet-sit, we always ensure that the pet has the water bowl filled, and a cozy corner with their toys and blanket. We make sure that our balcony is closed, and all decorative objects in the house are out-of-reach. We love playing and cuddling with the pets and always keep a constant eye on them and send photo/video updates to the pet parents.

Over: Two Dalmatians, a chihuahua, a Pomeranian and three mutts were my siblings growing up. I took care of them through every vet visit, may it be grooming days, sick days, or the few times they’ve given birth to puppies! I currently work part time so I am mostly at home and can do check-ins or walks, this is updated on my Rover calendar. I stay alert on walks and during home-sitting with pets. Care instructions for your little one will be carefully followed and depending on your preference, I can send updates throughout the sitting.

Over: Wij zijn twee echte hondenliefhebbers die graag voor jouw hond zorgen. Omdat ik momenteel tussen twee banen in zit, heb ik alle tijd en aandacht om jouw hond een fijne dag te bezorgen. Mijn vriend heeft ruim 10 jaar ervaring met honden en is opgegroeid met een hond vanaf zijn zevende. Daarnaast passen we regelmatig op het hondje van een vriendin. We wonen in Amsterdam, maar maken graag lange wandelingen in het Vondelpark of rijden naar een mooi natuurgebied voor extra avontuur. Bij ons krijgt jouw hond veel liefde, aandacht en beweging. Omdat ik momenteel tussen twee banen in zit, ben ik veel thuis en kan ik mijn dag volledig afstemmen op de behoeften van jouw hond. Dat betekent alle tijd voor wandelingen, spelen, knuffelen en de verzorging die jouw hond gewend is. Mijn vriend werkt fulltime, maar is ’s avonds en in het weekend ook graag betrokken. Samen zorgen we voor een rustige, liefdevolle en betrouwbare omgeving waarin jouw hond zich snel thuis zal voelen. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Daarom houd ik zoveel mogelijk de dagelijkse routine aan die hij of zij gewend is, zoals vaste wandelmomenten, etenstijden en eventuele medicatie. Er is volop tijd voor aandacht, spelen, rust en knuffels. Ik stem de verzorging altijd af op de wensen van het baasje, zodat jouw hond de zorg krijgt die hij of zij verdient.

Over: Mijn naam is Yael, 33 jaar oud en woon met mijn vriend Reno en jonge kinderen (4 en 2 jaar) in Gouderak. Wij hebben zelf een dwergkees van 6 jaar en een paar kippen (deze zijn afgesloten van de tuin). Rox houdt niet van al te drukke honden dus het liefst wat rustigere honden :). We hebben een grote tuin met een afgesloten hek waar ze heerlijk kunnen spelen en omdat ik thuis werk is hier altijd wel iemand thuis! Omdat wij jonge kinderen hebben is het belangrijk dat je hond goed met kinderen overweg kan. Ze weten dat ze geen honden moeten optillen en kunnen er zelf goed mee omgaan. Ik werk thuis dus je hond krijgt alle aandacht! Dus zoek je een oppas voor je viervoeter, stuur mij gerust een berichtje en dan maken we snel kennis! Groetjes Yael en Roxy! Over: I have had a dog since I was 10 and have had experience training it. I look after dogs quite often here in Amsterdam, and can provide recommendations from people I have dog sit for. I work part time and am a student so have plenty of spare time to take care of the dog and am flexible to the dogs needs. I have had a lot of experience of understanding what dogs need for me and when they need more and less attention. My home is dog friendly with no things lying around for them to accidentally swallow. I live next to a few parks and would be able to take them there.

Over: I'm new to Rover, but dogs have already been part of my routine for a while. My parents look after a friend's dog once a week, and I often join in, walks, feeding, playtime, the whole thing. I know how to help a dog feel settled and comfortable even outside their usual home, and I bring that same patience and attention to every dog I care for. I'll follow your instructions closely and keep you posted throughout, and while I'm new to the platform, I'm not new to dogs, I'd love the chance to prove that to you and your pup :) I work from home most days, so I'm around and available almost all the time, the only regular exception is Thursdays, when I'm out. I'm also quite active, which works out well: dogs get a proper walk, and if it's a cat keeping me company at my desk instead, that's just as good a day for me. I live in a small studio (36m²), but the area right outside is genuinely great for dogs, plenty of green space nearby. Happy to share more about the neighborhood once we're in touch. For cats, the studio itself is calm and quiet, which makes it an easy space to settle into.

Specifically, if your dog stays with me, I am happy to start our day with an early long walk at the park, then a shorter one during noon and a large one later in the evening. Over: I grew up with pets (dogs and rodents) and have taken care of pets practically my whole life. 5 years ago, I took a wonderful boy called Charlie home from the shelter (you can see him in all of my pictures). He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I recently started a PhD and am therefore not home during work days (mo-fr). This is why I currently am not in the position of adopting a dog myself, but would love to take care of dogs on the weekends when I am home. When taking care of a dog I adjust my routine to meet the needs of the dog. I try to suit the needs of the animal and respect their boundaries. If they prefer to be lazy or alone, I give them space, if they prefer interaction and play, I give them attention. I feed them and walk them as agreed with the owner.
