Over: I grew up with pets (dogs and rodents) and have taken care of pets practically my whole life. 5 years ago, I took a wonderful boy called Charlie home from the shelter (you can see him in all of my pictures). He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I recently started a PhD and am therefore not home during work days (mo-fr). This is why I currently am not in the position of adopting a dog myself, but would love to take care of dogs on the weekends when I am home. When taking care of a dog I adjust my routine to meet the needs of the dog. I try to suit the needs of the animal and respect their boundaries. If they prefer to be lazy or alone, I give them space, if they prefer interaction and play, I give them attention. I feed them and walk them as agreed with the owner.

On nice days, expect me to walk your dog to the park for well over an hour just to let them run around and explore. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

Over: Hoi! Wij zijn Jonna (25) en Ana (24) en samen wonen we in Utrecht. We zijn allebei enorme hondenliefhebbers en hebben allebei van jongs af aan veel ervaring met honden. Jonna is opgegroeid met honden en heeft sinds haar achtste altijd een hond in huis gehad. Bij haar vader woonde tot een paar jaar geleden een lieve Toller, maar nu een energieke pup mix Toller/Australian Shepard. Daarnaast heeft zij ervaring met het helpen in dierenopvangcentra, waar onder andere honden uitlaten en dagelijkse verzorging bij hoorden. Ana heeft zes jaar lang een hond gehad bij haar ouders en heeft daar veel verantwoordelijkheid in gedragen. Samen vinden we het heerlijk om met honden bezig te zijn: wandelen, trainen, spelen en natuurlijk knuffelen horen daar allemaal bij. We letten goed op het karakter en de behoeften van elke hond en passen onze aanpak daarop aan, of het nu gaat om een actieve pup of een wat rustigere, oudere hond. We wonen in een appartement met balkon (geen tuin), maar maken dagelijks meerdere wandelingen en nemen daar uitgebreid de tijd voor. Bij ons krijgen honden veel aandacht, structuur en een veilige, huiselijke plek. We kijken ernaar uit om jouw hond bij ons te mogen ontvangen! Wij werken beiden full-time, maar Ana werkt onregelmatige uren in de zorg waardoor er vaak of bijna altijd iemand thuis is. Jonna werkt 2-3 dagen per week thuis. Een lekkere ochtend wandeling, middag (mits iemand thuis is) en er lange middag I will respect any of the terms we will set together. As long as those terms are discussed, I think we should be fine! Over: Ik pas met enige regelmaat op honden en katten van vrienden en dat vind ik heel leuk. Wellicht dat ui zelf eens een katje of hondje in de toekomst neem. Momenteel ben ik veel thuis en heb ik tijd om aandacht te geven aan huisdieren waar ik zelf ook dol op ben en blij van word. Ik heb een ruim appartement. Geen balkon. Gee andere huisdieren of kinderen. Rustig. Ik wandel graag bij Amelisweerd/bos met honden. Of knuffel graag met ze op de bank.
