My dog Shumba lives with my parents now that I am in uni, but he is very energetic, and I’ve also looked after other active dogs on this app that are similar, so I’m comfortable handling dogs with different energy levels. There are no other animals in the home, so your dog will have my full attention. I’m attentive to their needs and make sure they are well cared for at all times. Over: I got my first dog when I was 11, and since then I’ve always loved spending time with animals. I’ve gained experience in training and caring for both young and senior dogs, and I regularly look after my own dogs when I return to Italy. I truly enjoy keeping dogs company and making sure they feel safe and happy when their owners are away. Recently, I hosted a friend’s dog in my apartment in Maastricht for two months. She was a rescue and initially very shy and scared of people, but with patience and care she gradually opened up to me. Over: I have been in the pet care industry for 15 years, I am a professional pet stylist, I train dogs, I have worked as a vet technician, I am used to handling all sorts of animals including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small animals. I work from home, so I am always with your furry, scaly, or feathery friends! I base my days around what they need to ensure I provide the best care possible! Dogs must be crate trained. No animals interact, unless properly introduced (cats and dogs only, no other animals will be introduced to one another. Small animals, birds, and reptiles will have designated play time or handling when not in their enclosures. Small animals, birds, reptiles, snakes, and exotics are kept away from dogs and cats at all times for safety reasons. Dogs are walked up to 3 times a day (depending on exercise needs and weather). There is a small enclosed field I can let the dogs run if they are good off leash, or I can use a long line to allow them to run around without being off the leash. Animals are fed according to their normal feeding schedules at home. Kids are only in the home on the weekends and are knowledgeable about animal safety and not approaching any animals without me saying it is okay. The kids are 10 and 13. The kids will not interact with any animals without direct supervision from me.

During the stay we offer: • Daily walks of 45 to 90 minutes. • Playtime and mental enrichment activities. • Treats and snacks. • Frequent photo and video updates. • We are happy to accommodate BARF feeding. • Medication administration if needed. • For an additional fee, we can give your dog a homemade bath during their stay to help keep them clean and comfortable. Over: Honden(katten) oppas aangeboden Even voorstellen Wij zijn Janna en Remco, twee grote dierenliefhebbers, woonachtig in het mooie Schinveld, dicht aan het bos. Wij hebben thuis altijd honden en katten gehad. Wij wonen samen met onze lieve hond Casper en vogels in een rijtjes woning, met een heerlijke tuin. Oppas bij ons thuis De honden hebben altijd toegang tot de tuin, daarnaast wandelen we graag in het bos. Ze krijgen in huis een plekje in de woonkamer. Er is genoeg snoep en speelgoed aanwezig om de honden flink te verwennen;). Casper is nog een pup en wat lomp, dus kleine, stille hondjes zullen dat niet fijn vinden. We willen alleen passen op sociale honden ivm. Casper. Ik werk vanuit huis en ben beschikbaar om veel aandacht aan je viervoeter te besteden. Je dier krijgt dan dus ook veel persoonlijke aandacht. Wandelingen en verzorging afgestemd op jouw viervoeter. Wij wonen in een woning in Schinveld met heerlijk ruime tuin met gras. Het is ook mogelijk om je hond/kat te verzorgen in zijn vertrouwde huis en daarmee ook gelijk op het huis te passen;) Ik kan bijv. een aantal keer per dag langs komen voor wandelingen, vers voer/water.

Over: Grande amoureuse des animaux depuis toujours, je serais ravie de chouchouter votre toutou pendant vos vacances, vos week-ends ou même une soirée ! Ayant moi-même deux chiens à la maison, je suis bien habituée à leurs besoins, leurs câlins, leurs promenades... et même leurs petites bêtises ! 😉 Que ce soit pour une balade, une garde ou simplement un peu de compagnie, je m’adapte à chaque personnalité canine avec douceur, patience et beaucoup d’affection. Over: Ich arbeite seit sechs Jahren hauptberuflich mit Hunden, anfangs in einer großen Hundetagesstätte, heute als Mensch-Hund-Coach. Ich kann das Wesen eines Hund schnell greifen, Konflikte erkennen und vermeiden oder auch lösen. Bei mir bekommt dein Hund eine gesunde Mischung aus Auslastung und Ruhe. Mein großzügiger eingezäunter Garten lädt zum Toben aber auch zum Entspannen ein. Das Einhalten von Regeln und Grenzen ist für unseren Alltag wichtig. Ich werde deinen Hund liebevoll aber klar in unsere Regeln und unseren Alltag mit seinen Routinen einführen. Auch schwierige Hunde kann ich bei mir aufnehmen, da ich auch über einen abgetrennten Bereich für Hunde mit Aggressionspotential verfüge. Wenn dein Hund keine Thematiken hat, wird er wie ein weiteres Familienmitglied in unserem Alltag mit dabei sein. Da mit Haus, Hof und Kindern immer etwas zu tun ist, bin ich den Großteil der Zeit zu Hause. Wir entspannen im Garten, spielen im Hof, gehen spazieren und machen Ausflüge. Jeder Tag ist etwas anders und deine Fellnase ist mit dabei. Meine eigenen Hunde sind als sozial gefestigte Artgenossen mit dabei und unterstützen deinen Hund. Wir wohnen sehr ländlich und ruhig, haben einen großen eingezäunten Garten und auch in unserem Haus gibt es genug Möglichkeiten für deinen Hund sich zurückzuziehen.

Over: Passionnée par les animaux, je m'occupe depuis de nombreuses années des chats et des chiens de mes proches, aussi bien chez moi que lors de mes visites. Il y a quelques mois, j'ai quitté le Brésil pour la Belgique avec mon mari et notre chien, un Shih Tzu de 11 ans. J'ai de l'expérience avec une grande variété d'animaux : chiens, chats, lapins, poissons et petits rongeurs. Je suis également professionnel de la santé ; si nécessaire, je peux évaluer et soigner les plaies et administrer des médicaments. Je ne parle pas encore très bien le français, mais je peux communiquer en anglais ou en portugais. J'ai déménagé en Belgique il y a quelques mois et j'étudie à domicile toute la journée, j'ai donc beaucoup de temps pour jouer et me promener. J'ai un jardin clos de hauts murs et des portails aux entrées des escaliers. J'ai un Shih Tzu de 11 ans, très calme, qui a grandi avec d'autres chiens et chats dans la même maison.

Sie befasst sich individuell mit jedem Hund, hat sehr viel Fachwissen (wovon auch ich als Halterin sehr profitiere) und kann Hundeverhalten sehr gut einschätzen. Growing up, I was always surrounded by pets, from cats and dogs to cows and sheep that I had to take care of, and learned early on how much joy and comfort they bring to everyday life. 
I used to have cat for 6 years, being volunteer for taking of cats and dogs in university campus when I was back in Turkey. I would love to be family to a cat or dog but I don't have space to provide that yet so that's the reason for me to want to be a petsitter. I’m doing my masters and having only 3 subjects so i have plenty of time which lets me to be flexible on my schedule for appointments. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow the owner’s routine closely — including feeding times, walks, medication (if needed), and play. I give plenty of companionship, ensure fresh water is always available, and maintain a tidy environment. I also respect the client’s home, leaving everything as I found it. Dogs are taken outside for regular walks, toilet breaks, and exercise, while cats or smaller pets have safe indoor spaces to explore. I keep the environment calm, clean, and pet-friendly, making sure there are no hazards.
