Over: I have been walking and training my dogs (3 very active Border Collies) for 10 years, I have also provided dog sitting and care for dogs. I am flexible, reliable, and easy to connect with. Feel free to reach out with any questions, I’m always happy to help! I am currently studying for my Master’s at the University of Amsterdam and working part time as a remedial teacher. Even with a busy schedule, I still have plenty of time during the day and evenings to walk your dogs. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m always happy to help on short notice as well I live in an apartment in De Pijp by myself. While it may not be the best space for larger dogs, smaller dogs are very welcome. Thanks to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate plenty of time to caring for them and taking frequent walks. I also live close to a lovely park, which is perfect for daily outings.

Over: I’ve had cats since elementary school and by growing up with them I’ve learnt about taking care of them. My grandparents owned a big size dog, so I can deal with them as well :) I’m a student in her master so I have many days off during the week, I don’t have any other side job at the moment. I had experiences in both sides, taking care of the pets in the owner’s house and in keeping them at my place, never had troubles

Over: I adopted my own dog Coco a year ago and have gone through trainings with her at de Gabber dog school . Before adopting Coco, I was the go-to dog sitter for my friends’ dogs. I take 3 walks a day with Coco including a long walk in Westerpark. Coco is super friendly and always looking to make new dog friends. I usually work from home from Friday to Monday. I have a routine of walking my dog 3 times a day including one in Westerpark and going to bigger parks on the weekend such as Amsterdamse Bos. I have everything needed for dog care in my apartment since I have our own dog. I also have plenty of (training) toys to keep dogs entertained.

“We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”

Over: I grew up around dogs. Now that I'm an adult with my own household, of course I also have my own dog. He's very social and I love all kinds of dogs. I think Benji and me would be excellent company for your furry loved ones in your absence. Currently I fully work from home. I have very flexible hours which allows me to dedicate time throughout the workweek to offer my services for dog care. I'm absolutely obsessed with dogs and I want to spend more time doing something that I'd love. Dogs are the world's best companions and I think having the privilege of taking care of someone else's treasure is something to take to heart. I have a fenced back yard and my own dog. If you would want me to spend some time with your loved one, I'd likely play with their toys, or go for a nice walk or bike ride. I don't mind grooming either, a quick little brush doesn't hurt. Depending on your dogs dietary needs, I feed my own dog twice a day, I'd likely keep that schedule for any dog that I would take care of.
