Over: I have 2 dogs of my own and years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

One of my proudest achievements was successfully socialising my cat and dog to live in harmony, a process that required a lot of patience, calm energy, and an understanding of animal boundaries. Beyond my own pets, I have years of experience walking my relatives' dogs. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs to run or a shy dog who needs a gentle leader, I am comfortable adapting to different personalities. I’m not just a "sitter", I’m someone who genuinely enjoys the bond that comes from a long walk and a good play session. Im a 20-year-old student living in Almere. Because my studies allow for a very flexible schedule, I have plenty of free time and energy to dedicate to your furry friends. I’m currently saving up for my tuition, and since I can’t have a dog of my own right now due to occasional travel, pet sitting is the perfect way for me to share my home and heart with animals! I live right near Oostvaarders Station, which is a dream location for dogs! We are minutes away from incredible green spaces and the edges of the Oostvaardersplassen. My "adventure walks" take place in these expansive, quiet areas where your dog can truly explore. Also my neighborhood is peaceful and pet-friendly, with plenty of room to roam away from heavy city traffic. To ensure the highest level of safety and care, I only host one pet at a time. They will have my undivided attention for cuddles, play, and supervision. Safety & Communication Safety is my priority. I always use a leash during walks unless we are in a securely fenced-in area. I know how much you’ll miss your pet, so I love sending regular "pupdates" with photos and videos of our day so you can see how much fun they’re having! I only accept vaccinated pets to keep everyone safe and healthy. I can't wait to meet your companion and give them a fun, stress-free stay!

Over: I am Ann, a responsible, playful dog owner in Oud Zuid with 20+ years of experience caring for dogs. I have helped take care of special needs dogs in the past-our family dog was blind, and another dog is missing a limb....so I know how to care after the ones that need help the most. We have two rescued dogs, Soju and Sokka. We have a nice space with hardwood floors and a fenced yard. I plan on treating your dog as part of the family - giving them all the play time they need to be happy! I'm currently at home full time so your pup gets plenty of attention. The daily routine includes going to nearby parks (Vondel or Beatrix) and additional potty break walks around the neighborhood. I like to cater to the dogs needs and walking endurance. I have a fenced yard and two dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. We have plenty of toys and treats. Please inform of any allergies or restrictions.

Over: Ik heb eigenlijk altijd met dieren gewoont en er hart voor gehad, zelf heb ik bij een dierenhotel gewerkt met voornamelijk honden en beseft dat het veel leuker is om voor mezelf te werken zolang er maar honden om me heen zijn. Ook ben ik op mijn vorige werkplek getraint om met lastigere honden om te kunnen gaan wat ookal zeg ik het zelf best goed doe. Ik heb op het moment 1 hond waar ik structureel op pas en het liefst spendeer ik mijn vrije tijd ook met honden want ja als je doet waar je van houdt hoef je geen enkele dag te werken. Thuis kunnen ze lekker op de slaapbank of op 1 van de 2 poefjes liggen of op bed mist ze schoon zijn hahhaa, vondelpark is bij mij om de hoek dus daar zijn we ook regelmatig te vinden.

Ik vind het belangrijk om goed te kijken naar de behoeften van iedere hond, of het nu gaat om een energieke wandeling, spelen en aandacht, of juist een rustige aanpak. Door mijn geduldige en verantwoordelijke houding voelen honden zich snel op hun gemak bij mij. Ik zorg ervoor dat ze voldoende beweging, aandacht en verzorging krijgen, zodat ze zich veilig en gelukkig voelen terwijl hun baasje weg is. Ik werk vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel tijd heb om aandacht te geven aan de dieren die ik verzorg. Daarnaast maak ik dagelijks wandelingen, dus honden die graag naar buiten gaan krijgen voldoende beweging en gezelschap. Ik bied zowel oppas aan bij mij thuis als bezoeken aan huis, afhankelijk van de behoeften van jouw huisdier. Bij opvang thuis krijgen dieren veel aandacht, gezelschap en een rustige, veilige omgeving. Bij verzorging aan huis zorg ik voor voeding, vers water, speeltijd, knuffels, kattenbakreiniging en indien gewenst een wandeling. Ik behandel elk huisdier met dezelfde liefde en zorg als mijn eigen dieren.

Over: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a very pet-loving family where we always had at least three dogs, sometimes four, alongside rabbits, fish, and other pets. Over the years I’ve lived with and cared for a wide variety of different breeds, including Bernese Mountain Dogs, Newfoundlands, a Cocker Spaniel mix, a Maltese Poodle, and a Boerboel. Having had both giant breeds and smaller dogs as pets has really taught me how different every dog is and how important it is to adapt to their individual personality, energy level, and needs. I regularly took our three Bernese Mountain Dogs on hikes in the mountains and on adventures to forests and lakes, while our smaller dogs much preferred a relaxing walk on the beach or park. I now work from home full-time, with no pets currently, and live just a short walk from Vondelpark, which means I have the flexibility to give plenty of attention, walks and playtime throughout the day.
