Over: Two Dalmatians, a chihuahua, a Pomeranian and three mutts were my siblings growing up. I took care of them through every vet visit, may it be grooming days, sick days, or the few times they’ve given birth to puppies! I currently work part time so I am mostly at home and can do check-ins or walks, this is updated on my Rover calendar. I stay alert on walks and during home-sitting with pets. Care instructions for your little one will be carefully followed and depending on your preference, I can send updates throughout the sitting.

Over: Hello, I'm looking to gain more experience with pets. For almost 7 months I cared for a very intelligent and active little dog in my home. After that, I also cared for two other lovely dogs so their owners could travel. I also cared for a kitten, only with regular visits. Because of this, I developed a great love for this work and would like to continue it. I hope I can help in some way. I am very attentive and responsible. I have always had pets and now that I am a mother, my love for animals only grows. I am currently not working, I'm available to care the pets lovely and patiently. Therefore, I am available to walk, play with, and visit pets during the mornings until 2 PM. I can also offer pet boarding at my home during business hours. I will always be home so your pet won't be alone. I have a spacious house with a backyard. I don't have pets, but I have a little daughter who loves pets and may or may not play with the pet.

Over: Wij zijn twee echte hondenliefhebbers die graag voor jouw hond zorgen. Omdat ik momenteel tussen twee banen in zit, heb ik alle tijd en aandacht om jouw hond een fijne dag te bezorgen. Mijn vriend heeft ruim 10 jaar ervaring met honden en is opgegroeid met een hond vanaf zijn zevende. Daarnaast passen we regelmatig op het hondje van een vriendin. We wonen in Amsterdam, maar maken graag lange wandelingen in het Vondelpark of rijden naar een mooi natuurgebied voor extra avontuur. Bij ons krijgt jouw hond veel liefde, aandacht en beweging. Omdat ik momenteel tussen twee banen in zit, ben ik veel thuis en kan ik mijn dag volledig afstemmen op de behoeften van jouw hond. Dat betekent alle tijd voor wandelingen, spelen, knuffelen en de verzorging die jouw hond gewend is. Mijn vriend werkt fulltime, maar is ’s avonds en in het weekend ook graag betrokken. Samen zorgen we voor een rustige, liefdevolle en betrouwbare omgeving waarin jouw hond zich snel thuis zal voelen. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Daarom houd ik zoveel mogelijk de dagelijkse routine aan die hij of zij gewend is, zoals vaste wandelmomenten, etenstijden en eventuele medicatie. Er is volop tijd voor aandacht, spelen, rust en knuffels. Ik stem de verzorging altijd af op de wensen van het baasje, zodat jouw hond de zorg krijgt die hij of zij verdient.

Over: I grew up with pets (dogs and rodents) and have taken care of pets practically my whole life. 5 years ago, I took a wonderful boy called Charlie home from the shelter (you can see him in all of my pictures). He was already a bit older, and I was lucky to have him by my side for 4.5 years until he sadly passed away last October. I have a big heart for animals, and therefore miss taking care of a hairy friend! I have experience with taking care of both small and larger dogs, as well as senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I recently started a PhD and am therefore not home during work days (mo-fr). This is why I currently am not in the position of adopting a dog myself, but would love to take care of dogs on the weekends when I am home. When taking care of a dog I adjust my routine to meet the needs of the dog. I try to suit the needs of the animal and respect their boundaries. If they prefer to be lazy or alone, I give them space, if they prefer interaction and play, I give them attention. I feed them and walk them as agreed with the owner.

Over: I have been surrounded by pets since I was a child. Growing up with both a cat and a dog, I learned early on how to read their different "languages." One of my proudest achievements was successfully socialising my cat and dog to live in harmony, a process that required a lot of patience, calm energy, and an understanding of animal boundaries. Beyond my own pets, I have years of experience walking my relatives' dogs. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs to run or a shy dog who needs a gentle leader, I am comfortable adapting to different personalities. I’m not just a "sitter", I’m someone who genuinely enjoys the bond that comes from a long walk and a good play session. Im a 20-year-old student living in Almere. Because my studies allow for a very flexible schedule, I have plenty of free time and energy to dedicate to your furry friends. I’m currently saving up for my tuition, and since I can’t have a dog of my own right now due to occasional travel, pet sitting is the perfect way for me to share my home and heart with animals! I live right near Oostvaarders Station, which is a dream location for dogs! We are minutes away from incredible green spaces and the edges of the Oostvaardersplassen. My "adventure walks" take place in these expansive, quiet areas where your dog can truly explore. Also my neighborhood is peaceful and pet-friendly, with plenty of room to roam away from heavy city traffic. To ensure the highest level of safety and care, I only host one pet at a time. They will have my undivided attention for cuddles, play, and supervision. Safety & Communication Safety is my priority. I always use a leash during walks unless we are in a securely fenced-in area. I know how much you’ll miss your pet, so I love sending regular "pupdates" with photos and videos of our day so you can see how much fun they’re having! I only accept vaccinated pets to keep everyone safe and healthy. I can't wait to meet your companion and give them a fun, stress-free stay!

Over: I'm new to Rover, but dogs have already been part of my routine for a while. My parents look after a friend's dog once a week, and I often join in, walks, feeding, playtime, the whole thing. I know how to help a dog feel settled and comfortable even outside their usual home, and I bring that same patience and attention to every dog I care for. I'll follow your instructions closely and keep you posted throughout, and while I'm new to the platform, I'm not new to dogs, I'd love the chance to prove that to you and your pup :) I work from home most days, so I'm around and available almost all the time, the only regular exception is Thursdays, when I'm out. I'm also quite active, which works out well: dogs get a proper walk, and if it's a cat keeping me company at my desk instead, that's just as good a day for me. I live in a small studio (36m²), but the area right outside is genuinely great for dogs, plenty of green space nearby. Happy to share more about the neighborhood once we're in touch. For cats, the studio itself is calm and quiet, which makes it an easy space to settle into.

Over: I grew up with dogs and, as an adult, have regularly cared for dogs for friends, so I feel very comfortable and confident around them. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether that’s going for active walks and playtime or simply relaxing together for a cuddle on the couch. I am the sole caregiver and will always be the one responsible for your dog’s care and supervision. I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is in safe, reliable hands. I do have an 8-year-old child who is present after school hours. He is very gentle, respectful, and absolutely loves dogs. He enjoys playing and cuddling with them, but your dog will never be left alone with him—I am always present and supervising interactions to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. I work full time, but I am self-employed, so can bring dogs with me to work. From there we can go for a longer walk around lunchtime, or shorter toilet breaks as necessary. Longer walks are also possible before or after work. On weekends we can go for adventures to the many parks of Amsterdam. I have a bakfiets, so if it’s ok with you, we can get around town with the wind in our fur! I have a clean and welcoming environment in my home, with room for playing and napping. I live on the third floor, and there are stairs inside my apartment too. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down, but this might be something to consider. In general, when I am caring for a dog, it’s much like having a child to take care of. I do have an 8 year old (who is very sweet and gentle with dogs), so your dog has to be friendly and comfortable with children. I also need to know how your dog is with other dogs and people, so I can act accordingly. I never let dogs off leash before i know them very well, because I take my responsibility very seriously. And always pick up poop!

Over: I’m a responsible and attentive animal sitter based in Amsterdam. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and cats and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I provide regular walks, a lot of playtime, and lots of attention. I’m patient, reliable, and happy to follow your animal’s routine so they feel at home while you’re away. I work remotely so am quite flexible. I work a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home, which allows me to give dogs regular attention, walks, and potty breaks throughout the day. I’m available on weekdays and weekends and can adapt to your dog’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. I live in a calm, pet-friendly home apartment in Amsterdam Oud Westand only host a limited number of dogs at a time so they receive plenty of attention. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, and routines, and I make sure pets always feel safe, relaxed, and supervised.

Over: I have 2 dogs of my own and years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Your dog will be coming into a calm, dog-savvy home run by people who genuinely love this - not somewhere treating it as a side hustle. I offer boarding at my place, house sitting at yours, and dog walks in and around Hilversum and the Gooi. I keep numbers small on purpose so that your dog gets real attention, a proper routine, and someone who actually notices if something feels off. I use an intake form with every booking so I know your dog's routine, quirks, health needs, and what they're like with other dogs before anything is confirmed. No surprises for either of us. I am additionally comfortable with senior dogs who need calm over chaos and dogs with specific routines or sensitivities. I ask for: honest answers on the intake form and a quick meet-and-greet before boarding or sitting bookings. Pet care isn't something I fit around a busy schedule, it is the priority when I have a booking. I work from home, which means dogs in my care aren't left alone for long stretches during the day. Walks, feeding, rest, and outdoor time follow your dog's natural routine as closely as possible, not mine. I keep bookings small so I'm never stretched across too many dogs at once. My home is calm, dog-proofed, and already shared with 2 dogs of my own, so incoming dogs arrive into a settled environment. Before any boarding or sitting booking I use a detailed intake form covering health, behavior, feeding, and emergency contacts, plus a meet-and-greet to make sure it's a good fit. I use a signed agreement with every client. If something feels off with a dog during a stay such as appetite, energy, behavior, I notice and I communicate that. Owners hear from me with updates; they don't have to chase me for them.

Over: Hi! 😊 Honden zijn voor mij echt familie en ik vind het belangrijk dat ze zich veilig, geliefd en op hun gemak voelen. Ik heb een tijd op een ranch in Duitsland gewoond waar we twee Australian Shepherds en een Border Collie hadden. De Aussies heb ik grotendeels vanaf pup opgevoed en met onze Border Collie, die een lastig verleden had, ben ik ook meerdere keren naar de hondenschool geweest. Daardoor heb ik geleerd goed om te gaan met verschillende karakters en gedragingen. Daarnaast heb ik vaak opgepast op de Jack Russell van een vriendin tijdens vakanties en andere momenten. Ik hou van lange wandelingen, avontuur en actief bezig zijn met honden — vroeger nam ik ze zelfs regelmatig mee tijdens het paardrijden 😊 Ik ben geduldig, rustig en speels, maar durf ook duidelijk en consequent te zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Medicatie geven is geen probleem en ik sta open voor alle soorten honden. Ik geloof niet echt in “slechte rassen”, iedere hond is anders en verdient een eerlijke kans en liefdevolle begeleiding. Verder heb ik een auto, dus uitstapjes of ophalen is vaak mogelijk. En ja… als een hond graag bij je op bed kruipt voor extra knuffels, dan vind ik dat helemaal gezellig 🐾 Momenteel heb ik nog geen vaste baan, waardoor ik veel vrije tijd en flexibiliteit heb. Daardoor kan ik huisdieren veel aandacht geven, wandelingen plannen en mijn dagelijkse routine aanpassen aan hun behoeften Ik zorg voor een rustige, veilige en vertrouwde omgeving voor ieder huisdier en heb een omheind tuintje. Ik geef veel aandacht, houd rekening met hun karakter en behoeften en zorg voor duidelijke structuur, veilige wandelingen en goede verzorging

Over: Ik ben een echte dierenliefhebber! Helaas kan ik momenteel zelf niet adopteren omdat ik te veel reis. Dat vind ik ontzettend jammer, dus daarom lijkt het me heel leuk om af en toe op iemand anders z’n hondje te passen! Van huis uit heb ik altijd dieren gehad, waaronder een Duitse herder, een rottweiler en een Maltezer. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende karakters en behoeften. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor hondjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Mensen omschrijven mij als rustig, warm en zorgzaam. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten? Veel liefde en aandacht voor je hond, regelmatige updates en foto’s, en de geruststelling dat je hond in goede handen is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Ik woon op 40 m² met een tuin. Voor hele grote honden is mijn woning daardoor waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾 Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis en ben daardoor veel aanwezig. Huisdieren zijn dus zelden lang alleen. Mijn planning is flexibel en ik ben over het algemeen veel thuis, waardoor er genoeg tijd is voor wandelingen, speeltijd, rustmomenten en verzorging. Overdag stuur ik ook graag af en toe een update of foto, zodat je weet hoe het met je dier gaat. Ik woon op de begane grond aan een rustige, autovrije straat en heb tevens een volledig omheind tuintje waar honden lekker kunnen relaxen. Ik heb zelf geen honden of katten, waardoor jouw dier alle aandacht krijgt. Daarnaast is er veel groen in de buurt en zijn er verschillende parken op loopafstand.
