“Sky is voor het eerst van zijn hele leven uit logeren geweest. Ik vond het heel spannend, maar werden goed begeleid. Ik kreeg elke dag een appje met foto’s en hoe het ging. Sky heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt, ook sky was gewoon op vakantie. Hij was heel relaxed en Cristina en haar man waren heel lief voor sky, hij komt heel graag terug! “We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”
Over: [english below] Hoi, ik ben Hanna! Wonend in Amsterdam Oost, vlakbij Amstelstation (goed bereikbaar met zowel OV als ook auto + lift aanwezig in het gebouw). Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, een hond dat uit een asiel is geadopteerd (labrador x stabij) en daarna een border collie x australian shepherd. Zelf heb ik ook kort voor een rescue gezorgd, helaas is deze niet meer bij mij. Ik zou daarom graag weer vaker op honden passen. Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Het aannemen van meerdere honden van verschillende baasjes gedurende dezelfde periode zal altijd in overleg zijn en ik heb zelf ook de voorkeur om de honden vooraf met elkaar kennis te laten maken. Hi, my name is Hanna! Living in the east of Amsterdam, near Amstelstation (so easy to reach by both public transport and car + there’s an elevator available in the building). I grew up with cats and dogs, and also have looked after a rescue dog for a while who sadly is not with me anymore. I'm excited to look after dogs again more often. I also really enjoy teaching dogs new things or guiding them with puzzles, brainwork etc. I’m looking forward to plan a meet and greet with you and your dog(s) to discuss whatever is necessary. A trial day or night is also always possible. I also have some experience (not in that sense qualified or professional, but personal experience) with behaviourally challenged dogs, which are also welcome but that obviously would require a discussion to see how and what the dog needs / to what extent. Accepting multiple dogs from different owners during the same period will only happen in discussion with the owners and will require a meeting between the dogs beforehand. I’m currently in the process of making this my full time job, so I’m home pretty much full time (besides for groceries and an occasional appointment obviously). So if you have a dog that needs a bit more active supervision or can’t stay alone yet or for not that long, I basically have all the time and presence your pet needs. I live in an apartment that’s decently sound-proof. There’s an elevator present in the building. I have 2 crates set up and also a fence throughout my place, so if needed I can keep the dogs separated when I have multiple dogs. At the moment the max I can keep at once would be 3, but that does take some extra consideration if they do go together if it’s the case they are dogs from different owners. Having 2 together would be more common than 3. Doors of the crates are generally open during the day, so if your dog isn’t crate trained (yet), that’s fine. Sadly I don’t have a garden, but I do have time, so I also like to just be outside with your dog as if we’re hanging out in a garden (I have multiple long leashes as well, so they can also do then do their thing in a safe manner if it’s not in a fenced area).

Over: I've been around dogs my whole life. My family's first was a Jack Russell Terrier, followed by a Bichon, and my sister has two Bichons of her own. Dogs have always been part of my day to day, so I'm completely at ease minding them and making sure they feel safe and well cared for. This year, my partner and I adopted Nori, a lil Iggy. Raising him from a pup has sharpened my hands-on ownership skills. Everything from house-training to managing his wild personality. He's energetic, and always up for making a new friend, so if your dog enjoys company, he'll make a good pal. Italian Greyhounds are renowned for being clingy so I'm well used to giving a dog my full attention throughout the day. I work from home full-time, which means your pet won't be left alone for long stretches. If they need someone around consistently I think I’d be a good fit Pet care fits naturally into my day since I work from home full-time. Mornings start with a walk, often down to Sarphatipark, followed by regular breaks throughout the day for toilet, play, and outdoor time. Evenings bring a longer walk. Your dog won't be left alone for long stretches; consistent attention is just part of how my days already run. I follow each dog's normal routine - feeding, walks, meds, wherever we are. At home, they join Nori and me around the flat. Never left alone for long. I also live with my partner Abbie who's just a trustworthy and similar lover of dogs so there will always be 4 eyes on your pet :)

Over: Having grown up with cats, they have a special place in my heart ❤️ from playful kittens, to independent adults and into their senior years I've seen it all. I know that each feline comes with their own quirks and habits which I love to tune into as I get to know them. With all that said I'd never turn down some quality time with a dog! Spending time with dogs of friends' and family is always a joy. Having just moved to Amsterdam I am eager to get to know the city, it's parks and local residents! What better way than through the eyes of its furry inhabitants! I am attentive to pets needs, I understand the importance of routine for most pets and would do my upmost to stick to it and follow the owners instructions precisely. Visiting animals at home means I'm coming into their territory, so I would be respectful of their personal space and habits.

Over: I grew up around dogs my whole life, so I’m very experienced taking care of them. Since moving to Amsterdam, I’ve regularly pet sat for friends here, everything from quick drop-in visits to longer stays of up to 15 days. I live in a big apartment with my partner, who also loves pets, so we’d be two people looking after yours and it would rarely be alone. We’re close to Erasmuspark, great for walks and playtime, and our place has a big balcony too. I work from home most of the time and only go to the office once a week, so I’m around most days. Happy to take dogs on long walks, or just spend lots of time at home if it’s a cat! Sleeping in the bedroom with me is totally fine, or the living room if your pet prefers sleeping on its own. We currently don’t have any pets of our own. I can do both during the week and weekends. Right now I work from home 4 days a week and I go to the office once a week. This is flexible though, so I can also stay home full-time if needed. I love giving lots of affection and spending quality time with the pets in my care. I do have an active social life, but when I have an animal with me, I try to stay home as much as possible so they feel accompanied and don’t feel alone. If it’s a dog, I really enjoy long walks, so I’d take them along with me. I prefer looking after pets at my own place, but in some cases I’m also open to pet sitting at the owner’s home. As for sleeping, I’m flexible, they can sleep in the bedroom with me or in the living room, whatever they’re more used to. As for pets, I don’t own any currently.

I currently have a 30 kg Goldendoodle, Willow, whom I’ve spent the past two years intensively training as my service dog. Through this, I’ve gained lots of experience with obedience, consistency, positive reinforcement, routines, and understanding dog behavior. I’m also very comfortable with larger, energetic dogs and providing plenty of exercise, structure, and, of course, cuddles! 🐾 I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and am around throughout most of the day. Dogs in my care get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I normally take Willow on three longer walks and two shorter walks each day, so your dog can easily join our routine. I’m also happy to adjust my schedule to your dog’s usual walking, feeding, and sleeping routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure any dog staying with us feels comfortable around her. Since I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. Dogs are treated like part of the family in our home, they’re welcome on the furniture (clean paws permitting!) and can sleep in my bedroom. I follow each owner’s routines and rules closely and will always take the time to help your dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home. And obviously will send pictures throughout the day of your pup; as a dog owner, that’s what I’d want as well!

“Sky is voor het eerst van zijn hele leven uit logeren geweest. Ik vond het heel spannend, maar werden goed begeleid. Ik kreeg elke dag een appje met foto’s en hoe het ging. Sky heeft zich heerlijk vermaakt, ook sky was gewoon op vakantie. Hij was heel relaxed en Cristina en haar man waren heel lief voor sky, hij komt heel graag terug! Ik raad Cristina iedereen aan Sky has been staying out for the first time in his entire life. I found it very exciting, but were well supervised. I got an app every day with pictures and how it was going. Sky had a great time, Sky was also just on vacation. He was very relaxed and Cristina and her husband were very sweet to sky, he would love to come back! I recommend Cristina to everyone”

“We waren best gespannen om ons hondje Blizzard voor het eerst bij een onbekende achter te laten, maar vanaf het eerste contact met Shaima hadden we meteen een goed gevoel. Ze was ontzettend warm en liefdevol, en haar ervaring met honden straalde er vanaf. Dat stelde ons enorm gerust. Tijdens het verblijf hield Shaima ons dagelijks op de hoogte met lieve berichtjes, updates en leuke foto’s. Ze nam echt de tijd om ons mee te nemen in hoe het met Blizzard ging, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. Ze stelde gerust vragen wanneer dat nodig was, wat haar zorgzaamheid en betrokkenheid alleen maar bevestigde. Wat we ook enorm waardeerden: Shaima merkte dat Blizzard soms wat vaker naar buiten moest omdat hij het niet altijd even goed kon ophouden. Ze heeft zich daar meteen op aangepast en is meerdere keren korte wandelmomentjes met hem gegaan. Zo lief, ze keek echt naar wat hij nodig had. En het allerbelangrijkste: Blizzard had het zó naar zijn zin, dat we bij het ophalen bijna het gevoel kregen dat hij liever nog even bij Shaima bleef. Op de foto’s en video’s zagen we ook hoe blij en ontspannen hij was, en hoe liefdevol zij met hem omging. Wij komen zéker terug bij Shaima. Het was voor ons (en voor Blizzard!) echt een ontzettend fijne en warme ervaring. We raden haar met alle vertrouwen aan!”
Over: [english below] Hoi, ik ben Hanna! Wonend in Amsterdam Oost, vlakbij Amstelstation (goed bereikbaar met zowel OV als ook auto + lift aanwezig in het gebouw). Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, een hond dat uit een asiel is geadopteerd (labrador x stabij) en daarna een border collie x australian shepherd. Zelf heb ik ook kort voor een rescue gezorgd, helaas is deze niet meer bij mij. Ik zou daarom graag weer vaker op honden passen. Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Het aannemen van meerdere honden van verschillende baasjes gedurende dezelfde periode zal altijd in overleg zijn en ik heb zelf ook de voorkeur om de honden vooraf met elkaar kennis te laten maken. Hi, my name is Hanna! Living in the east of Amsterdam, near Amstelstation (so easy to reach by both public transport and car + there’s an elevator available in the building). I grew up with cats and dogs, and also have looked after a rescue dog for a while who sadly is not with me anymore. I'm excited to look after dogs again more often. I also really enjoy teaching dogs new things or guiding them with puzzles, brainwork etc. I’m looking forward to plan a meet and greet with you and your dog(s) to discuss whatever is necessary. A trial day or night is also always possible. I also have some experience (not in that sense qualified or professional, but personal experience) with behaviourally challenged dogs, which are also welcome but that obviously would require a discussion to see how and what the dog needs / to what extent. Accepting multiple dogs from different owners during the same period will only happen in discussion with the owners and will require a meeting between the dogs beforehand. I’m currently in the process of making this my full time job, so I’m home pretty much full time (besides for groceries and an occasional appointment obviously). So if you have a dog that needs a bit more active supervision or can’t stay alone yet or for not that long, I basically have all the time and presence your pet needs. I live in an apartment that’s decently sound-proof. There’s an elevator present in the building. I have 2 crates set up and also a fence throughout my place, so if needed I can keep the dogs separated when I have multiple dogs. At the moment the max I can keep at once would be 3, but that does take some extra consideration if they do go together if it’s the case they are dogs from different owners. Having 2 together would be more common than 3. Doors of the crates are generally open during the day, so if your dog isn’t crate trained (yet), that’s fine. Sadly I don’t have a garden, but I do have time, so I also like to just be outside with your dog as if we’re hanging out in a garden (I have multiple long leashes as well, so they can also do then do their thing in a safe manner if it’s not in a fenced area).

Uit eigen ervaring weet ik hoe lastig het soms kan zijn om een fijne, betrouwbare opvang voor je hond te vinden wanneer je even weg moet. Daarom heb ik besloten om zelf hondenbezitters te helpen met liefdevolle opvang in een huiselijke omgeving. Ik woon in een ruim appartement met een groot balkon waar honden heerlijk kunnen ontspannen. Omdat ik momenteel geen eigen huisdieren heb, kan ik jouw hond alle aandacht geven die hij of zij verdient. Rust, ruimte, persoonlijke aandacht en een veilige omgeving staan bij mij centraal. Zoek je een warm logeeradres voor je hond waar hij of zij zich echt thuis kan voelen? Neem dan gerust contact met mij op. Ik vertel je graag meer en kijk ernaar uit om jou en je hond te ontmoeten! Ik heb een flexibele baan en werk veel vanuit huis met voldoende tijd om aandacht en liefde aan jouw hond te geven. Afhankelijk van de leeftijd van de hond en jullie eigen wensen kan ik veel korte wandelingen maken of juist langere wandelingen in het park of bos. Ik woon in een ruim appartement op de 5e verdieping met een groot balkon waar een hond heerlijk in de zon of schaduw kan liggen.
“Super happy that I found Anushka. She took really good care of my dog while I was on a work trip. My dog can be quite sensitive to changes and a bit worried when I leave her with new ppl but Anushka was patient with her and gave me updates, sent pictures and told me about how she was settling in. Felt very safe to leave her there. Will def book again when something’s come up.”
