Over: Dear pet owners, my name is Paulien, I'm 25 years old and I live in Amsterdam-West. I have a studio apartment of 27m². I live on the ground floor, so there are no stairs, in case if your furr baby has trouble or isn't allowed to walk up and down stairs yet. I have finished college, I want to become a dog trainer next year, which is an online study, so I'll have plenty of time next to my study to take care of your furr babie(s). I don't have any pets of my own, so I have all the time to do what I love most, taking care of animals! I always make sure that my calendar is updated, but I'm free most of the time! Back in 2018 I had a partner who has 1 dog and 3 cats. I loved taking care of them, take long walks in the park or at the beach. Nothing brings me more joy than play and cuddle with them. My partner at the time had a family friend who owned a dog named Shana and used to take care of their dog, whenever she was on vacation, before she passed away. The reason why I don't have a pet of my own is because my apartment is too small (27m²). So I searched for an option where I can still take care and show my love for pets. I found Rover and started working through here in 2019 as a pet sitter. My heart aches for animals and I want to share my love for them with as many pet owners as I can. I'd love to learn more where needed. Rince Rover is my full time job, I have plenty of time to take care of your furr babies! I can take your dog(s) on long walks if you'd like or stay inside and play/cuddle with some lovely cats. My apartment is fairly small and I don't have a garden where dogs can play, so I'd take them to the park near me (Westerpark) to have some fun, run around and just have a good time. With cats I just like to play with them, cuddle with them and of course let them have their own space where they can rest and explore. I will make sure to give them their space and let them get used to me. I will let the pets be and let them come to me before interacting, I respect their space and want them to feel safe and comfortable around me. When I would be staying in your home, I will always ask if there are things I have to be cautious about (for instance, if the dog is anxious, make sure he doesn't get sensory overladed and if so, because it can be pretty crowded outside, please go back home).

Over: All my life I've had pets at home. I'm a veterinary technician, and one of my passions is working with animals and giving them lots of love and care. Currently, I'm staying at home and have enough time to take care of your pet, take them for walks, and play with them. It will be days filled with lots of fun. I have a spacious fenced garden at home where they can roam freely, and I can take them out more regularly. The care in each home would be very different, as I would tailor specific outings based on the service each person desires.

Our home-based lifestyle ensures constant supervision at night. However, I will be the one solely responsible for taking care of your pet. Long walks in the park or nature are guaranteed on weekends, and daily playtime indoors is part of our routine. We go out 3 to 4 times a day – in the morning, afternoon, and evening – ensuring that the pet has multiple opportunities to relieve itself and get some exercise. This promotes restful sleep and overall health. Ons huis heeft twee verdiepingen en een tuin van meer dan 40 m². De benedenverdieping is hun plek: een open keuken- en eetruimte zonder bank, alleen ruimte voor de honden. Vanuit deze ruimte is er directe toegang tot de tuin. In de winter blijft de deur gesloten om naar buiten te gaan, maar in de zomer is de deur open, zodat ze vrij in en uit kunnen gaan. We gaan ook meerdere keren per dag naar buiten om met de bal te spelen, naast de wandelingen in het park. Idealiter hebben honden geen toegang tot de bovenverdieping, waar onze slaapkamer is. Dit is bespreekbaar, afhankelijk van de specifieke behoeften van jouw hond. The ground floor is their space—an open kitchen and dining area with no sofa, just room for the dogs. From this area, there is direct access to the patio. In winter, the door will be kept closed to go outside, but in summer, the door is open so they can freely go in and out. We also go outside several times a day to play ball, in addition to the walks in the park. Ideally, dogs won’t access the upper floor, where our bedroom is. However, this can be discussed based on your pet’s specific needs. We’re flexible!

Over: Hallo💃🏾 mijn naam is Rebecca en ik woon op een paar minuten afstand van het geweldige Jagersplas park. Ik zal hieronder wat over mijzelf vertellen. In mijn jeugd altijd honden gehad thuis. Het is zo fijn om een maatje te hebben waar je altijd mee kan kroelen. Honden zijn trouwe dieren die er altijd voor je zijn. Daarnaast hebben ze ook nog eens humor! Ik heb zelf een paar jaar geleden een ander huisje gezocht voor mijn Aussie. Ik kwam in een burn-out en kon niet meer ver lopen. Ik zie Kai nog elk jaar in Zeeland en hij is gelukkiger dan ooit. Het was een verdrietige situatie maar het was nog erger niet goed te kunnen zorgen voor hem. Ik heb meerdere trainingen met Kai en ben dus wel wat gewend. Ik vind het erg leuk om te trainen en gebaren aan te leren. Wist je dat honden ontzettend visueel zijn ingesteld? Je kan een hond makkelijk trainen en opdrachten geven met handgebaren. Inmiddels ben ik steeds mobieler en zou het leuk vinden af en toe op te passen. Ik mis het wel namelijk. Ik woon in een maisonnette met mijn zoon een vriend. Mijn zoon is 14 en ook hartstikke dol op honden. Uw hond krijgt hier dan ook alle aandacht en liefde. Ik heb een ruim dakterras en het park is om de hoek! Ik kom daar elke dag voor een wandeling dus uw viervoeter kan gezellig mee natuurlijk. Verder ga ik graag naar het bos of het strand. Ik hoop uw hond snel te mogen knuffelen. Ik ben volledig thuis en beschikbaar. Ik ga elke dag wandelen in het park en kan alle aandacht geven die een hond nodig heeft. Ik ben weinig buiten de deur dan voor een boodschap. Ik heb een mooi terras op het zuiden, in de zomer heerlijk met een parasol. Ik woon op drie hoog in een maisonnette, er is een lift.

Few meters away there is a leash free area where dogs can play. If the dog needs a resting place to sleep. It can be displayed in one of the sleeping rooms. If the dog is crate trained. I'll follow up pawrents indications. Dogs are allowed in the sofa. But not in the sleeping bed. My dog is really friendly with other dogs. Over: I’ve had dogs my whole life (and plenty of other pets too)! I feel comfortable and relaxed around dogs, I prefer them to most people I think! I will provide everything your dog could possibly need. I’ve had experience with puppies and training, all the way through to caring for senior dogs and their requirements. I currently have my own dog who needs at least 3 walks a day so your dog will receive exactly the same! I currently work two days a week but, on the days I work, my partner Ross will be at home (I’ve uploaded a photo of the two of us with our dog!) My daily routine completely revolves around my dog and what he needs so I’m also happy to cater to your furry friends needs too! We sometimes have weekend plans but these are normally dog friendly activities too. I have a fenced patio outside that your dog is welcome to wander outside and go to the toilet in. I also have my dog who will keep your friends company too. Dogs are allowed anywhere in our home, so if your dog needs some quiet alone time then they can take themselves off for some piece. Dogs are allowed on the sofa and bed too if they want. We also do have a crate for our dog that we can use if needed.

Over: Wij hebben sinds 2022 onze eigen gezinshond, een dalmatiër reu met de naam Mylo. Mylo werd mijn 4e kind nadat mijn jongste naar groep 1 ging. Ik heb ervaring met puppytijd, heb talloze cursussen gevolgd, en kan her en der ook helpen bij het trainen van je hond. Ik ben natuurlijk geen officiële hondentrainer, maar vind het wel erg leuk! Ik werk vanuit huis, en ben hierdoor grotendeels van de dag thuis. Ik ben geduldig en liefdevol. Ik bied flexibiliteit en voldoende aandacht. Wij hebben een eigen bedrijf in meubelreiniging, mijn man is hiervoor buiten de deur aan het werk en ik zit thuis achter de schermen. Hierdoor ben ik grotendeels van de dag thuis, op kinderen halen en brengen van school na of een boodschapje oid. Wij hebben een dalmatiër van bijna 2 jaar, Mylo. Mylo is een gecastreerde vriendelijke reu. Doordat we zelf een hond hebben beschik ik over diverse lijnen, trektuigen, een bench, voerbakken, speelgoed, brain training tools etc. We hebben ook een kat, Zazu. Dit is een ragdoll die voornamelijk buiten is.

Over: Ik heet Monique en ik woon met mijn man en twee dochters van vijf en negen jaar in Purmerend. Ik en mijn dochters houden enorm van honden daarom heb ik de fantastische “baan”” hondenoppas. Bij mijn thuis kan je je hond spelen, rennen, slapen, en heerlijk knuffelen met de allerbeste knuffelbare lieve kinderen en mij. We houden ook heel erg wandelen en op onderzoek uit gaan en natuurlijk ook heel veel spelen in onze ruime achtertuin. Inmiddels komen elke week drie vaste lieve honden als dagopvang. Naast dagopvang kan je hond ook bij mij logeren. Logeren is voor sommige honden heel spannend dat ik graag in de avond bij je viervoeter blijf zodat ie geen stress of bang is. Jou hond zal altijd en elke dag alle liefde en aandacht krijgen net als mijn eigen hond. We zoeken het liefst honden die kindvriendelijk zijn en gewend zijn aan kinderen. Dankzij Pawshake heb ik al op tientallen honden gepast van klein tot groot en het is altijd geweldig om te zien dat de honden genieten en dat de baasjes heel tevreden naar huis gaan. Daar doe ik het voor en natuurlijk voor de warme knuffels van uw hond!! We hebben ook een hondje Rosie en ze houdt ervan om met andere hondjes te spelen. Ik heb puppy's gehad tot oudere honden en ik kan daarnaast ook medicatie geven aan uw huisdier. Stuur mij een leuke berichtje via Rover. Heel veel liefs van ons. Extra dienst die ik erbij doe wat in de prijs inbegrepen is dat ik elke dag updates stuur over je hond en daarbij leuke foto’s/filmpjes van je hond. Door deze extra ben je altijd dicht bij je viervoeter. Ik ben een flexibele honden oppasser. Elke dag thuis en elke dag beschikbaar. Dagopvang start in de ochtend vanaf 7:00 tot 18:00. Logeren vanaf 14:00 tot de volgende ochtend om 12:00. Ik heb een grote afgesloten tuin en een lieve hond. Elke week heb drie vaste honden die langs komen voor dagopvang. Daarnaast heb ik twee dochters dus je hond heeft alle gezelschap en liefde.

Over: Sinds mijn geboorte ben ik al omringd door huisdieren, poezen, honden, konijnen, vogels, zelf paarden. Ik zou mij geen leven zonder huisdieren kunnen voorstellen. Ik laat graag de hond uit en knuffel met de poezen. Momenteel zit ik in de ziektewet en ben ik elke dag thuis met de diertjes. Ik wandel elke dag met onze grote Zwitser, een hond erbij is toch nog gezelliger! Ik zorg altijd voor een rustige ontmoeting met het dier, onze Zwitser is iets te enthousiast dus die zal niet de eerste keer gelijk mee gaan. Daarna als de band er is zal ik de honden samen in de auto mee nemen naar het bos om even lekker te wandelen!

Over: Hi everyone! Ever since I was a little girl I have always had dogs around me, and I thought that was the best thing there is. Playing with them, walking them, but also all the responsibilities that come with it. Unfortunately, I can't get a dog myself at the moment, because my schedule is too irregular. I really miss having a dog around, so I hope I can help you, while your pet could make me very happy at the same time! The dog couch is still there <3 I currently work part-time (partly from home) and I am home a lot. In the evenings and weekends I am away a bit more often, but certainly not always. So I am available a lot and everything is up for discussion! I don't have any animals in my house anymore, and the area is quiet. I live with my father who isn't home much himself. Unfortunately I don't have a garden, but I do have plenty of space in my apartment. Dogs are allowed on the couch with me, but if you don't allow this, I'll stick to this. I walk a lot during the day and am very active, so your dog will definitely not spend too much time indoors.

Over: I have always veen taking care of animals. Big and small, young and old. I’m experienced with the well-being of animals. Mainly cats, dogs, bunnies, birds and hamsters. It would be wonderful to work with you and take care of your pet! I’m working part-time so I'm flexible with my time. It is also possible for me to stay overnight to take care of the pet. You can always discuss the time and date with me and it will be made sure of to find a solution that fits both of our schedules. I have a cat but he prefers to go outdoors or visit my other family near us. I have a small garden where it is always possible to play and we have a big house with 5 bedrooms so space is not a problem! Also can crate your pet if it is needed from the owner.

Over: I’ve had dogs all the time growing up. I don’t have a dog myself, but the last few years I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family during their vacations. I work from home full time and only go to the office once a week. Dog sitting/dog walking fits perfectly in this lifestyle. Dog walking is perfect because it also gives me a required break from the temptation to sit behind my computer for too long. I live in an apartment. Dogs are free to roam the different rooms and find where is most comfortable for them. Most will find this is the living room where I get the most sunlight.

Over: Sinds dat ik klein was hield ik veel van dieren. We hebben lovebirds, valkparkieten, een hond, een schildpad, baardagaam. We hadden vroeger ook cavia's gehad. Mijn taken thuis zijn om de vogelvolière schoon te maken, mijn hond uit te laten en de dieren voeding te geven. We zijn nu ook bezig met het broeden van de vogeleitjes van de lovebirds. Het is nu zomervakantie dus sta ik rond 8:00 op om mijn hond uit te laten. Ik vul daarna zijn voerbak. Ik doe mijn dagelijkse dingen. Ondertussen speel ik met mijn hond of kijken we samen op de bank televisie. Rond 12:00 ga ik weer een rondje wandelen met mijn hond. Om 18:00 krijgt mijn hond een warme maaltijd (pate) met worst. Daarna kijken we weer samen televisie op de bank of spelen we met elkaar. Om 22:30 ga ik weer mijn hond uitlaten. Daarna ga ik naar bed. Tijdens dat ik thuis ben staat onze deur naar de achtertuin altijd open zodat mijn hond altijd zijn behoeftes kan doen. Ik laat de honden uit. Ik geef ze voeding en aandacht. Ik vind het leuk om met dieren te spelen. Ik vind het leuk om met een bal te gooien met mijn hond. Of met een trektouw te spelen.
