Over: I've been around animals since I was a kid, growing up we always had dogs and cats and I was also taking horse riding classes. I have a dog (Who lives with my mom in another city), and have had animals like cats, hamsters and fish. Over the years I have taken care of animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles and different reptiles. As a veterinarian assistant student I can say with confidence that I have experience with all kinds of pets and also have got experience with providing medicine. I am more than willing to adapt to your pets needs so your pet will always be in loving and capable hands! I’m going to start with a new job that requires me to be in the office full time for about 4 weeks in April, but after that I will be mainly working at home. For now I work a couple days but am mainly at home. If I know that I'll have to be away for longer than 4 hours in a day, I will not put myself available for that day. I live in a flat in the city center in a comfortable apartment with a balcony. Me and my partner keep the apartment tidy and we clean regularly. I do live on the 2nd floor so if your pet has troubles with stairs do let me know! I also speak Dutch and Hungarian if communicating in those languages are easier for you!

Dus de hond moet trappen naar 2 hoog kunnen lopen, of max 10 kilo wegen.

Over: Mijn naam is Shandra, 31 jaar oud en ik ben echt helemaal dol op honden. Zoals je op mijn profiel kan zien heb ik al veel ervaring, ook met vele diverse hondenrassen. Ik ben zeer gewend om zowel voor korte als langere periodes op te passen. Op het moment dat ik op uw hond zal passen, zal ik mij verantwoordelijk voelen alsof het mijn eigen hond is. Bij mij zal hij/zij zich helemaal thuisvoelen. Zo zijn er in mijn omgeving veel leuke plekjes voor de hond: verschillende parken met veel natuur. Tevens hou ik heel erg van wandelingen maken in het bos of op het strand. Ook stuur ik de hele dag door foto’s en op verschillende momenten van de dag updates over hoe het gaat. Zie ook al mijn lieve reviews, welke ik al heb mogen ontvangen. Ik kan niet wachten uw hond te mogen ontvangen! Stuur gerust een berichtje, zodat we kunnen kennismaken. Liefs Shandra PS: - Ik ontvang veel aanvragen voor een vaste oppas 1-2 keer per week, helaas kan ik hier niet aan voldoen. - Ik pas alleen op honden van kleine en middel maten. Ik pas niet op katten ivm allergie! Ik werk als account manager, waarbij ik geheel mijn agenda agenda beheer. Ik bepaal dus zelf wanneer ik thuis werk etc. Ik moet wel eens hier en daar 2-4 uurtjes van huis dus als het voor een langere periode dan 1 dag oppas is, is het wel fijn als de hond even alleen kan zijn. Uiteraard probeer ik er zoveel mogelijk rekening mee te houden in de agenda om niet veel weg te zijn! Ik verzorg de dieren alsof het mijn eigen dieren zijn. Ik knuffel veel, praat veel tegen ze en zorg dat ze volledig op hun gemak zijn.

Weekends: 100% available Weekdays: Availability may vary depending on the month, but right now I’m fully available! I take my own Maya out 2/3 times a day, the evening walk are longer than the morning one. I provide a safe and caring environment for every pet: no chemicals or pesticides are used around the house, and all spaces are well-ventilated. There are plenty of shaded and cool areas for hot days, ensuring your pet is always comfortable and secure.

Over: Three years ago, I adopted a Dutch hound mix puppy named Riven and raised her until she was two and a half. I was fully involved training, feeding, playing, walking, even just being present and attuned to her needs every day. After my breakup, she moved away with my ex, but the bond I built with dogs has stayed strong. Before having my own, I also helped neighbors and friends with their pets whether it was walking, feeding, or keeping them company while they were away. I’m not a professional trainer but I love to maintain routines, I treat every dog with care, attention, and love like they’re part of my family. I’m currently not working, so I have full-time availability for dog walking, sitting, or simply spending time with your pup. I genuinely love being around dogs and communicating with them, they ground me, and bring me joy. Since I’ll be moving out of the Netherlands in a few months, it doesn’t make sense for me to get a dog right now, but I’d love to dedicate my time and energy to care for yours in the meantime. I don’t have a big house, so I wouldn’t recommend leaving your dog with me for long stays—but I’m happy to care for them in your home or do daytime visits. If they do stay with me, I’ll always respect your rules. If you’re okay with them relaxing on the sofa, that’s fine with me too. If not, I’ll make sure to keep clear structure and boundaries, just like you do at home. I’m very attentive to each dog’s comfort and personality, and I’ll always make sure they feel calm, safe, and respected.

I grew up with her and took care of her, including going on long walks, taking her to different trainings, and simply feeding her and loving her. I am experienced with taking care and showing love to different types of dogs. I am currently a third-year law student. I have plenty of time to spend taking care of your pets, going on walks and playing with them. I am available for boarding on the weekends and throughout the week. I live in a lovely family neighbourhood, which offers great variety of parks and playgrounds for pets. I would love to take your pet out on a play date and show them love and fun times.

Ranging from German Shepards, mixed breed, Staffies, Pit Bulls etc. Since leaving home to study and then starting to work, I missed the company of dogs and started house sitting and looking after others’ pets. I moved to the UK from South Africa at the end of 2021, and then moved to the Netherlands in 2024. I have been missing my dogs that are back home (see Ella on my profile picture) so so much! I used to take them for daily walks and was really interested in stimulating them with various games and teaching them tricks (as Ella is a Pit Bull and needed this input). I currently work from home and am therefore available to support numerous times, most days. I can cycle to a few areas in my vicinity so can most likely easily reach your home. I am happy to plan alongside you to see how best I can support your, and your pet’s needs. Ensuring the safety of the pet/s is top priority. I would need a thorough explanation of your set-up and the lock system/ accessibility. When outside the property the dog will always be on a leash.

Lately I've been dog sitting for friends when on holidays and here on rover, and I'm really loving it (and the dogs are loving it too😇!). I am very flexible time wise. I can walk your dog up to 4 times a day, and spend plentiful of time playing with them. I like to schedule a video chat or in person meeting before taking care of a new dog to now all the practicalities and see if we are a good fit. I have a fenced garden but for safety reasons I will keep your dog indoors when I'm not at home. I like playing a lot with dogs and making sure they are feeling happy and at home. I have parks (e.g. het park) to walk them close by.

Bij mij krijgt jouw dier een veilige en liefdevolle plek – of het nu voor een korte tijd is of een langer verblijf. Ik kijk ernaar uit om jouw hond of kat te ontmoeten! 🐾 Ik werk momenteel vanuit huis en heb een flexibel schema. Daardoor kan ik genoeg tijd en aandacht geven aan elk dier. Ik pas mijn planning aan op de behoeften van het dier – of het nu gaat om wandelingen, eten, spelen of knuffelen. Bij mij thuis zorg ik voor een rustige, veilige omgeving zonder andere huisdieren. Huisdieren mogen vrij rondlopen, krijgen een eigen plekje en veel persoonlijke aandacht. Bij oppas aan huis volg ik altijd de gewoontes van het dier en zorg ik voor stabiliteit. Hygiëne, rust en vertrouwen zijn voor mij heel belangrijk.

Over: Ik ben al van kleins af aan opgegroeid met honden en katten. Kittens groot gebracht en een puppy’s opgevoed. Ook heb ik katten van de straat een huis gegeven en katten opgevangen die niet goed verzorgd werden. Honden en katten komen altijd naar me toe en het is een feestje als ik bij ze mag zijn. Ik zal er alles aan doen om ze een hele fijne tijd te geven en ze alle liefde te geven die ze nodig hebben als hun baasje even op vakantie is. Ik werk vanuit huis dus ik heb alle tijd voor de dieren. Ik ben soms wel even een boodschap doen maar dan ben ik nooit lang weg. Ik ben dan ook eigenlijk de hele dag bij de dieren en loop heel graag. Ik heb een huis zonder dieren op dit moment dus daar hebben ze alle ruimte en daar hoeft geen rekening mee gehouden te worden. Ik heb een grote hondenmand en veel fijne plekjes thuis. Er zit wel een trap in mijn huis. In de omgeving heb ik veel natuur en kan ik dus heerlijk lopen met honden. Katten hebben veel plekjes en mogen overal liggen van mij. Als ik bij u thuis kom dan neem ik alle tijd om met de dieren te wandelen, te spelen, en te knuffelen. Ik geef ze lekker te eten en zal ze alle liefde geven.
