About: I showed pitbulls semi professionally when I was a teenager. I have lived on a farm most my life so animals and I always get along. I'm currently working from home as a Game Developer. I am on a rugby team that practices Tuesday/Thursday 6-8pm and games on Saturdays, so there are a few select times I'm not available. I have a Husky who loves making new friends and 2 cats that are indifferent to others. I enjoy spending time with animals whether its cuddles, active play, or just sitting in the room so they aren't lonely.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all sorts of animals. From there I went to college, majoring in Animal Science with plans to attend Veterinary School. I have a lot of experience handle dogs and some experience with cats. I ended up going in a new direction but I still love being around animals of all kinds. I am currently working 7am to 3pm most days of the weeks. I will be able to care for your pet before and/or after my work hours. Keeping your pets taken care of and you informed are my number one priorities. As a pet owner myself I know I would want those things.

About: I have helped watched and trained 2-3 puppies in the past 2 years. I also have experience with watching / training both small and big dogs. I also have had cats for years in my household and I have a cat myself as well so I have plenty of experience w cats I’m working full time but I work as a nurse so my schedule varies week to week and is flexible based on days/ time off I would let a dog out, take him on a walk, and make sure he uses the bathroom. I would also ensure that if s dog needed watched while inside I would keep a close eye on his/ her behavior.

About: -I treat all pets like that are my own- it is not just "another booking" for me. -I try my best to keep all their routines consistent, so I don't add any extra stress to their life, since I am sure they are already missing you. -I adjust care to each pet's needs, and I am very patient with dogs who are anxious and shy and also ones that are very high energy. -I send frequent photo + video updates (unless you would not prefer this, please let me know, I am happy to refrain.) & I leave detailed visit summaries and always use the app, so you know when I am in your home. -I am responsible, reliable, caring and trustworthy. I would love to be that person for you, and able to help you out when you need it most. Pet care fits into my daily routine because my fiancé and I already structure our day around consistency with taking care of our own pets. Even with my full time job, I plan my schedule carefully so walks, check-ins, feedings and play sessions are never overlooked. Those are my dogs favorite parts of the day so I make sure to treat your pet the same way. Caring for pets is not something I squeeze in, it's something I love to do and make time for. Having pets of my own keeps me in routine of exercise, and attentive care which carries over right into how I look after every pet I am sitting for. I provide attentive, structured and personalized care, whether pets are in my home or the clients home. I follow each pet's normal routines as closely as I can; including feeding schedule, walk times, medications, crate habits, and play preferences so I can keep them comfortable and stress-free. In my home, pets get a clean, safe and calm environment with supervised time, exercise and plenty of affection. I also have a friendly dog and cat who are well-socialized and get along with other dogs. If they are not crate trained I will be sure to sleep with them in our guest room so that they will get rest apart from where my dog and cat sleeps in our bedroom. In a client home I am respectful of the space and keep things so pets feel secure in their home. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, communication and enrichment and I always send regular updates and photos, so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for. I need to know ahead of time if you dog gets along with cats, if they do not, I will need to watch your dog in your home. I also require a meet and greet if your pets will be coming to our home ahead of time to be sure they get along with our dog and cat as well.

About: I did a lot of dog/cat sitting back when I was in college (8 years ago). I have some time off of work and would love nothing more than to fill my schedule with watching your pets. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and some reptiles. I am off of work for a couple of months, so my availability is wide open! 7 days a week, morning or night would work. I live on an acreage, so our 3 dogs are on a wireless gps collar system. If your dog/s were to come to my yard, they would need to be somewhat collar-trained. At your house, I can walk dogs, play with your dogs in your yard, and hang out with them inside the house. For cats, I can play with them inside, and give them lots of company.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for my whole life. My Aunt had me take care of her dogs every summer which included feeding,Walking,Playing, and giving them medicine. I’ve worked at a humane Society for dogs and cats, I took care of both. For the cats I cleaned out there living areas and feed them after. For the dogs I cleaned up any poop that was in there kennel. I played with them to get them exercise and try to train them a little. I enjoy any kind of animals seniors or puppies.I love animals and I enjoy meeting new ones. I’m a college student I have in person classes on Monday and Wednesday from 12:20-1:50 and after that I go to my other class to do labs which usually last till 5:00. On the other days I stay home and work on homework for the class while taking breaks to let the dogs out/play with them. I interact with them a lot and I let them go out side every 1-2 hours to go to the bathroom/play with them while I’m doing homework. I take breaks to play with them whenever I can.

About: Hi! My name is Amanda. I have worked in doggie daycare, worked as a bather and in the sales department! At work I got to experience different breeds, temperaments and personalities! My favorite part of my job is building strong relationships with the owners and their dogs! I also have experience dropping in homes while their owners are at work, school or out of town. When I do drop ins I have taken them on walks, picked up after them and fed them. I absolutely love working with all animals! I am known to have great communication skills, I am compassionate , and I am responsible. I pride myself in those traits and look forward to building a relationship with you and your family member! I do have a full time job working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Mon-Fri I do work from 730am-4pm. I am still available during the weekends and can also do house sitting during the days that I work! I will follow their daily routine and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. While walking them I will keep distance from other animals to ensure their safety. I will also follow all dietary needs and feeding schedules.

About: I have had my own pet sitting business since I was 10 and have watched and cared all different breeds and even cats! I have a lot of experience with large, high-energy hunting breeds and ensure that each pup gets enough exercise each day. My favs are the dog park and the beach! I also trained my golden retriever, Harper in agility! In my free time I love to volunteer at the animal shelter, to give back! So I have experience with pets with separation anxiety and those that aren’t friendly with other pets! I ensure all pet parents are updated with pictures and videos! I currently go to school in Iowa City and wanted to watch some pets over break! I am free for the entire break, Mid December-Mid January! Either in my home or the clients I keep a close eye on the pet! I ensure adequate exercise and keeping the pet out of trouble. When in the clients home I make sure that I am locking doors and can take care of other household chores like garbage, shoveling, and dishes!

About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.
