“Kara was amazing when I needed a last minute dog walker. She came everyday on time and communicated when she picked Moose up and dropped him off. She even wrote notes about the walk! I could not have found a better/sweeter friend for Moose that week! Thank you Kara!”

“Michelle is a wonderful dog walker. I couldn’t be happier with her services and she’s perfect for my little dog, she understood exactly how to handle her and was very positive and loving. Jaimee already has given her two paws way up, and me too!”

About: Currently offering walks and drop-ins for cats and pups! In the past I have always had a dog in the family and volunteered at local shelters. Now the owner of a seven-year-old german shepherd, Lyra, I am pretty seasoned with the ins-and-outs of caring for furry friends. I have been doing long walk ( mile - 2 mile walk ) challenges to keep her happy and whenever I stop in for a client, I make sure that I give your pup the same amount of attention as if they were my own. Rest assured your pup or cat will be pampered, snuggled, and get some playtime-in. You will receive photo updates (no need to respond) but I am very open during my visits so that you get a full rundown of their condition. I also fill out rover cards with details of activities and I am able to provide a quick pic on request. Please take some time to review the requirements for booking. I look forward to meeting your fur-friend and appreciate your business. My Rover schedule will reflect my availability, however, I may be able to accommodate your needs for an extended stay with communication. Our routine starts with breakfast between 7-10a. followed by a quick walk. We settle in for dinner sometime between 5-8p and usually go out one last time before bed. Pets are a priority in this household. I continue to work toward making sure that needs are met and your dog is comfortable throughout their stay. This includes creating space for smaller pets to lounge and request that all necessary care information is complete on their pet profile.

About: I've had my dog business for 5+ years and I devote my time to special dogs during the day or on weekends. I cared for my two dogs until they passed away. Now I have time to devote to other dogs who need my support. I have time in my life to care for your lovely dogs, walking them during the week and watching them for overnights on the weekends As my yard is not fenced in, I prefer to go to clients home to help out. I have a reliable vehicle and could come and visit

About: I worked in a vet clinic during college and I studied animal science for a year and a half. I had cats growing up and hope to get a dog one day soon! We have 2 young kids right now, so we are not ready to own our own pet just yet. I am great with training and have trained my friends’ dogs and my cats. Both cats that I most recently lived with knew “up” and know how to sit on command. I am a teacher during the school year and home during the summer. I am free all summer except a trip here and there. I try to keep my calendar as updated as possible, but you can always reach out and ask! I have a big yard, but it is not fenced in so your dog would have to be on a leash. I do not have any pets, but we do have 2 kids.

“Kathryn really got me out of a bind as she was able to walk Maggie twice on short notice. She made sure that I was comfortable with her by taking time to come over and meet the day before. She kept me updated with pictures and I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: I'm a stay at home wife, with a bunch of animals (dog, cats, chickens, ducks), looking to make extra money. I LOVE animals! I have experience volunteering at the Humane Society as well as caring for pets of family and friends. I have been dog sitting for Rover.com for over 5 years. If your dog needs a little company, to be walked, or even a bath; I'm available. Have more than one dog? No problem. I have a open and flexible schedule so, I can be available on short notice. I am respectful, honest, and hardworking. All I ask is that you give me a shot! -Dog Sitting -Dog Walking -Volunteer at Humane Society Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. I used to want to be a veterinarian. Life plans change a bit, but my love for animals has not so, I make an effort to help people like you whenever I can. My experience administering medication I have administered medication twice before. If you use any special methods, if you show me how, I am more than willing to do it. I currently work from home, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. My early mornings are spent doing my farm chores, but I'm usually pretty free by 9amish. I do my best to work with clients, so reach out, and I'll see you I can fit you onto my schedule! I do not currently host animals in my own home. In the home of my clients, I treat their pets the way I would my own, with patience, love, and care.

I am currently working part-time for the summer so i will have lots of time to pet sit! About: I’m more than a dog sitter 😁 if you want someone who will play, walk, and entertain your dog, you’ve found your match! I’m the dog mom who does everything with her dogs. I have 3of my own large breed dogs, and fostered 12 others with my husband and enjoyed every moment of it! Most of them were under the age of 1 year old, so we did all the potty training, crate training, and basic commands. I exposed them to different environments, other dogs, and taught them a lot during their time with us which was anywhere from a month to 4 months. I’m reliable and really intentional about the care of animals. I love my dogs as if they were my kids and I’d treat yours with the same care! I have a full time job, but can work from home some days. I dog sit because I love it and I know how important it is to find someone who will make my dogs feel safe and happy. I intend to do that for those I serve 😊🐶 Note: I generally do not accept requests for house sitting over 4 nights at a time. I love routine and know how animals can thrive in that even when their humans are gone. So I would be happy to keep consistency for your pet if that means being let out at certain times or walked before you get home etc. For doggy daycare: I have a fenced yard and 3 of my own fur babies who love to play with other dogs! I also have a separate gated area in my home if there needs to be separation at times. For House Sitting: (I won’t accept requests over 4 nights). I will follow the owners preferences and safety measures they have in place. I also recommend meet and greets so I understand how you expect things done/handled.

About: I’ve always had a deep love for four-legged friends, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing a dog happy and loved! 🐾 I’ve cared for several of my neighbors' dogs over the years, offering walks, playtime, and even TV time when they’re feeling lonely. Every dog deserves attention, love, and a little extra care, and that’s exactly what I provide. Whether it's cuddles, a good play session, or just some company, I treat every dog like my own furry family member! 🐶💕 I am self-employed on my farm Five and a Half North Farm, LLC, so I have ample time in my schedule daily. I have cared for many types of pets, including hamsters, bunnies, dogs, cats, and chickens. I have a small fenced area in my yard for pets to run. I generally care for pets in other people's homes and respect the instructions for each pets needs.

About: I am experienced walking and taking care of many different breeds, including a Weimaraner, Husky, German Shorthaired Pointer, Corgi, and a Chihuahua. I have also house sat for dogs, cats, and rabbits. One of the dogs I've watched had a history of seizures, so I learned how to administer their daily medication. I'm very punctual and I love animals. I've walked dogs in a lot of different weather conditions, and have no problem walking your dog regardless of what weather Michigan decides to throw at everyone. I look forward to getting some valuable time outdoors, and getting to take care of some adorable animals. I have a fairly open schedule and will do my best to accommodate clients. I am available to work early, late, and overnight as needed. I will take care of pets in their home so that they can be the most comfortable. I will follow the schedule for walks and food that their owner provides.

About: Hi I’m Katie! I am almost 19 and live in the Traverse City area. I graduated from Traverse City West. I also work part time. I’m attending NMC in the fall and hoping to become a surgical technician. I love all types of animals. I’ve taken care of puppies, senior dogs, cats, and this past summer worked on a goat farm! I personally own cats and have owned many dogs throughout my life. I would love to be your next booking! I’m currently working part time. I am not working a whole lot so even with me working part time I will be able to prioritize your requests and babies needs. I always make sure that I follow directions given, I’m also not afraid to ask questions. I am very vigilant and will treat your animal as if they were my own.

About: I've been lucky enough to have been able to help my mom with her business raising and selling dogs. Meaning I've dealt with taking care of pregnant dogs, newborn puppies, sick dogs, and senior dogs. I've also taken care of many different kinds of animals from reptilian to aquatic. My current full time job assisted senior living. I don't have a set schedule, but instead shifts I can choose to pick up. Meaning with proper warning I can puzzle piece my day to make time for your sweet pet. No matter what your pet needs I'm sure I can accommodate them and give them the care they need. And I always have extra supplies if needed. (carrier, food, toys, collars, leashes, ect.)

About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! I am more than happy to stay at your home while pet sitting or simply come by to care for the pet a couple times a day. Open to working with you to figure out the best solution for your pet. Unfortunately my current lease does not allow pets. I am more than happy to work with you and figure out a schedule/plan that would fit your needs! While I am at a clients house I would stay in good communication with them. In the past, I have sent daily pet photos to the client and sending them updates whenever possible.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for decades. I would love the opportunity to watch your pets. I do have a dog of my own. I am retired so I have plenty of time to watch your pets. Give me a try. I’m looking g forward to it. Thank you. I have one small dog named Gracie. I would walk your dog on a leash. Attention given to your pet. Thank you for your business.

Many of her foster pups come back for care while their owners are out of town. I have witnessed her wide range of successful abilities. Which never cease to amaze me.
