I’m here to confidently help with any and all pets of your household: feathers, fins, fur, and hooves alike. Here’s some basics about me! • I am a former Pet Nutritionist, certified through several ‘big names’ such as Instinct, Vital Essentials, Pet Planet, Primal, & others! I am also K9 CPR Certified. • I have always lived in what many would consider a to be a mini-zoo, and loved every second of it! Caring for animals is a never ending passion of mine. • I have a fully fenced front & backyard that is Great Pyrenees proof, so your pup(s) will be safe here, and have loads of space to run around! • My home was built with a closed floor plan, and I have gates for just about every room. • I have personal experience with elderly canines, including administering medication & senior care. • There is nowhere in the home that your pup isn’t allowed, & they will never be crated unless you request it. • I do have cats, but they will exclusively be in the garage during your pet’s stay as to avoid any issues arising. From both my own life and work experience, I have grown to be comfortable with dogs of all sorts of breeds, sizes, and personalities. Just about anything you may request I can accommodate, so don’t hesitate to ask! Whether it be one-on-one play, a specific schedule or training routine, or focus on group activities: you name it, we’ll make it work. I do keep food and treats on hand, but please let me know what your pet’s dietary needs are before drop-off if you don’t plan on bringing your own! My own dogs eat a heavily raw diet so a lot of their food cannot be shared. Furthermore, all animals will be fed separately to prevent any resource guarding!

Awesome experience! Honestly was a little nervous just because this was our first time leaving our dog with someone while we went out of town, but she was awesome. Sent videos and pictures everyday!! I would definitely rebook!

Schedule
I have just returned home to Alamogordo after several years living in Phoenix, AZ. Currently, Rover is my full time job, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I am transitioning out of my previous role in Pet Nutrition, and I hope to be able to focus on caring for your fur-babies.

Safety, trust & environment
I have both a front and back yard, both fenced in. With two large dogs of my own, they need plenty of space! The girls love other dogs (and even cats) and will make sure that yours feel welcome in the home. I have enough experience in reading K9 body language that if any issues arise they will be diffused immediately. Your pup(s) will have the ability to roam the house as necessary, but I do have a preference of keeping them close! If you have any accommodations needed, please let me know. We do also have several cats at home, but they will be confined to their own space away from the dogs for the duration of your pet’s stay. Any questions you may have, I’m more than happy to answer. I love to send photos and videos too, so expect regular ones in your inbox!
Pets
A typical day
You can count on a bright and early morning, just about every morning; my youngest will make sure that I am up and out of bed to take her out to potty before 7AM. If your dog is a heavy sleeper, no worries! I can come back in and get them when they’re ready. Your pup will be brought along to learn tricks with mine, play lots of tug of war, and even splash around in the water bowls in the yard!
