Pet care experience

A happy tail every time!!

I only host one dog at a time because keeping things calm and cozy at home is really important to me. I have a 13 year old handicapped pup named Ginger who I have loved since she was a tiny fluff. She is my whole heart. As she has gotten older, she needs a quieter, slower paced environment, so I am very intentional about welcoming dogs who are low to moderate energy and respectful of her space. That said, your pup will still get plenty of love and attention here. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that is slow neighborhood walks, a little park time, or simply relaxing together at home. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and energy level so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Taking care of Ginger over the years, especially in her senior stage, has taught me so much about patience, empathy, and how important it is for dogs to feel secure. She is honestly the reason I started pet sitting. I know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your baby, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. I work in tech in Silicon Valley with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to be home often. I live in a cozy, pet friendly home with a big yard where dogs can enjoy fresh air and sunshine. It is a safe and comfortable space that is best suited for small to medium sized dogs. To keep things peaceful for Ginger, I only accept house trained dogs with calm, gentle temperaments. If your pup enjoys companionship, light play, naps in the sun, and a low stress environment, they will feel right at home here. I would love to meet you and your furry family member 🤍

Zoey was amazing! Hova looked so happy in all the photos she shared. It brought me peace knowing he was in good hands. I had a last minute request and she was able to accommodate!

Zoey and her sweet dog, Ginger welcomed Jaxi with open arms. Zoey was patient with me as I read her my 2 page document of Jaxi's instructions and ways to keep him healthy and happy. I wouldn't hesitate to have her pet sit our Jaxi again.

Zoey was so great! She was very detail-oriented, and very responsive with her messages, always keeping us in the loop. We also loved all the photos she sent us. Astor had an absolute blast and she can’t wait to spend time with Zoey again.

Schedule

Since I work in tech with a hybrid schedule, I have plenty of flexibility to be home with the pups throughout the day. My daily routine revolves around making sure they get the care, attention, and love they need. Whether it’s morning potty breaks, playtime, or cuddle sessions, I make sure each pet feels comfortable and at home. Since I have my own senior dog, Ginger, I’m already used to structuring my day around pet care, including feeding schedules, medication (if needed), and making sure they get plenty of affection. Your pet’s routine will fit right in with mine!

Safety, trust & environment

I only take in one dog at a time so I can give them my full attention and care. I keep their environment calm, clean, and cozy, making sure they feel safe and right at home. I stick closely to their usual routine and give lots of love, walks, and playtime throughout the day. Whether it’s belly rubs on the couch or a peaceful nap in the sun, I do my best to make every pup feel like family.

Pets

A typical day

I live near a park, so I love taking pets on fun walks and letting them enjoy some fresh air and playtime. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a cozy cuddle session, or just spending quality time together, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away.

I always ask for a quick instruction sheet so I can get to know your dog’s routine, habits, and little quirks. Whether it’s a favorite toy, special feeding time, or a funny fear of vacuum cleaners, I want to make sure your pup feels comfortable and cared for just like they would at home.
