I have over 20 years experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages and I specialize in exotic pet care. I’ve worked with everything from farm animals to finned animals–including birds, fish, frogs, hermit crabs, fancy mice, chinchillas… even squirrels! I’ve cleaned all kinds of enclosures, trimmed all kinds of claws, and helped raise many rambunctious puppies and kittens into upstanding members of their human households. I know firsthand how hard it can be to entrust someone else with your animal family members’ wellbeing. Rest assured, I am stringent about following specialized care instructions and providing safety and comfort for all animals, on the animal’s terms. My goal is for your pets to trust me as completely as you do!

I’ve been an unofficial “friendly neighborhood animal-rescuer” since I was a teen, so I’ve handled basic first aid and animal CPR, fostering, flea-bathing, round-the-clock monitoring of sick animals, bottle-feeding, and more!

Zoey helped me out with a last minute booking over the Holidays and was great with my cat Luna! She gave detailed updates and lots of photos during her drop-in visits. Would recommend/have her watch my pet anytime!
Zoey stopped by our apartment daily for six days to care for our rabbit who is on a special diet and oral medication and our cat. Every day she sent us detailed recaps of what she had done that day and how our pets were doing along with the cutest pictures. She had a great attention to detail and even noticed that our cat turned on the oven by stepping on the buttons and made sure to check it daily and report back, along with putting the control lock on. Our pets were happy and healthy when we got home and we could tell they were well taken care of! We also had to add another day to the visit last minute due to food poisoning and she was quick to respond and accept. I trust almost nobody to watch our pets and would definitely hire Zoey again. It was so nice knowing they were in great hands! Thank you Zoey!
We will book Zoey again and again! It’s obvious that she is an animal lover and we felt so much peace of mind that she was caring for our 3 kitties while we were away. She followed all of our instructions and interacted with each of them in a way that kept them comfortable and happy.
I came back to a happy cat! Also got some great updates and photos. Would definitely book with Zoey again!

Schedule
I WFH, so I currently have extra availability during weekdays to do walks, administer medications, or to stop and stay longer with anxious or young pets who may need extra attention during the day. I may be able to offer extra flexibility for certain clients, depending on their pets’ needs and temperament (I have a senior cat at home to work around), so feel free to reach out with further questions about my availability and services.
