A typical day
That really depends on each cat’s personality, as I know they all have their own preferences! For more playful cats, I love engaging them with toys like feather wands, laser pointers, or anything that gets them moving and stimulated. If they enjoy interaction, I’ll spend time playing games and giving them lots of attention. For more relaxed or older cats, I focus on gentle companionship, sitting with them, offering strokes (if they like fuss), and keeping them company so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I always follow your cat’s routine and what they enjoy most, so they stay happy and stress free in their own environment.

We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Zoey was absolutely amazing, and nothing was ever too much trouble. She is incredibly knowledgeable about cats and really understands their behaviour and routines. It’s obvious how much she genuinely cares for animals, and that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our cat, Dilly, is diabetic and needs insulin injections twice a day. She was confident and competent administering them, which was a huge reassurance. Knowing Dilly was in such caring and capable hands meant we could truly relax on holiday. She also took wonderful care of our rabbit, giving both pets lots of attention and affection. We came home to two very happy, well-looked-after pets. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Zoey again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, experienced and genuinely caring pet sitter.
