I am a teacher at a local charter school, but my job is actually less than part time now, so I’m trying to housesit and walk pups as a way to save on rent and make some extra cash. My job is 9-1 every other day - M/W/F one week and T/Th the next. So, I’ll be around a lot.

Information Zoeann C. would like to know about your pet
It’s good to know their temperament and favorite toys! Any medical needs, and how they socialize with other dogs. Knowing emergency contacts and the vet is advised, as well as having prior approval to take to a vet if necessary. I’d like to know if a dog is a big puller because then I would prefer to do some training to walk at heel if possible. Also, I’m very open to coming and meeting in advance so I can learn the ropes and get a feeling for the dog, especially if bringing my pup to see if my dog gets along. I will take your dogs for play and walks separately from my pup, Oliver, if Oliver doesn’t have the energy and your dogs require a lot more! I can also bring over agility equipment, so your dogs can get some practice going over through jumps and through tunnels!
A typical day
On hot days, if allowed, I’d love to take your pup any place with water! I have a dog bowel set up in my car for water and tethers for seat belting. Plus, I have a forerunner with a tarp down for waterproofing in the back so there’s plenty of room for dogs. I don’t even mind if they’re wet! On snowy days, it’s great to take them to a place where they can play in the snow. I’ll go to dog parks as long as they’re clean, go for walks around the neighborhood and go any place to play fetch — the world is their oyster!

I have sat all types and ages of dogs, as well as cats, birds, chickens & can even take care of horses. I used to do AKC Obedience, Rally & Agility competitions with my mini-Aussie who is now 13, has arthritis and takes insulin shots twice daily. So, not only am I experienced with this type of medical, I’ve administered other medications, such as pills and ear drops. I am definitely able to do just about any type of dog training, but am especially good with calming and teaching how to walk at heel so there is no pulling. I do charge a bit more for training…but not much!

Zoeann did a great job taking care of our energetic dog while staying at our house. She walked him, played with him, and even slept in the same room as him. We appreciated her care and that she was able to administer medicine to him as well. Zoeann house sat/dog sat for us through trusted house sitters. She loved Copper like he was her own! If you are looking for the most organized, on time person, Zoeann sometimes overcommits, something she knows she does :) but if you are flexible and not too up tight, she will take great care of your pets and home!
