Pet care experience

Nurturing, Loving Hands and Home

I have cared for dogs and various pets in homes and farms since I was 10. I have been raised with multiple pets and still have a dog of my own. I love all dogs and have experienced dogs of many needs, temperaments, ages, and breeds. For 13 years I have regularly volunteered with the humane society, caring for and walking dogs. I also have brief experience doing basic training for dogs and preparing rescues to be ready for a home. I have 5 years of experience house/farm/pet sitting for families and am highly trusted by neighbors, family, and friends to care for their pets. I adore all animals I have met and am grateful for all the opportunities to connect with animals and show them love. I am happy to answer any further questions about myself and my experience!

Zoe took great care of my dog, Scout while I was away! She was very communicative and adaptable to all of his needs as he is just 6 weeks post-surgery. Highly highly recommend choosing Zoe to take care of your pups!

I can't say enough good things about Zoe. She sent lots of pictures, took our dog on numerous walks, kept me informed if she had a change in her schedule and went above and beyond what was expected. Chance loved her and we will definitely use her again.

Schedule

I am very type A! I have a planner that already has my expected availability through August. When I receive requests, I consider the entire equation of your pets needs, the commute time between commitments, and the time to be with your pet. I work part time as a nanny, on a consistent schedule with two families I adore in the Meyers Park and Noda Area. I also have 3 consistent dog walking clients which I am very grateful for, one requires 5 days a week for 30 minutes, another 4 days a week for an hour, and another 2 days a week for an hour. Families and pets that are nearby my other obligations (Meyers Park and NODA area) will always get priority as they are most time-savvy to work with. For house/pet sitting durations, I do ensure that I am within a 20 minute radius of other obligations to ensure my availability for your pet! My rates on rover do reflect the percentage rover takes to continue to operate the platform.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced in yard, it does have a pool though I am happy to observe and ensure there is no accidents. There are 2 stories and your pet will have plenty of space for themselves or to stay around us for company. If our dogs do not get along; I can separate based on the floors and ensure different potty breaks and walks. Within your home, I respect all home rules and will be mindful of your privacy. My focus will only be on your pet and their well being.

Pets

A typical day

I love taking the dogs to a greenway rather than just being in the neighborhood to walk; though if car rides aren't comfortable we will stay local! I love to play tug or fetch or offer stimulation through learning tricks or practicing commands. Cuddling is of course a bonus, but I let the dogs take the lead on what contact they are comfortable with- as I know many rescues or more reserved dogs needs their time and space to warm up.
