Hi, I’m Zoe! I’m a friendly, caring and reliable person who has always loved being around animals. I’m naturally patient and affectionate, and I really enjoy getting to know each dog’s individual personality — whether they’re energetic and playful, or prefer a quieter day filled with cuddles and attention. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for dogs. I’ve looked after dogs for people I know while their owners have been at work or away on holiday, including staying in people’s homes to look after their pets. I’ve also regularly walked dogs and been trusted to make sure they’re happy, safe and well cared for while their owners are busy. These experiences have given me a good understanding of how important it is to follow a dog’s usual routine and make them feel comfortable and settled. I currently work from home full-time, which makes pet care a great fit for my lifestyle. Your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day, with time for toilet breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles and lots of attention around my working hours. I’m also available outside of work and at weekends, depending on the service and booking. I can offer dog walking, drop-in visits, doggy day care and boarding, and I’m happy to work around your dog’s individual routine and needs. I’ll always make sure I understand their feeding, walking, sleeping and general routine before looking after them. I know leaving your pet with someone else requires a lot of trust, so I’ll treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. I’ll keep you updated while they’re with me and will always prioritise their safety, happiness and comfort. I’m really looking forward to meeting some new four-legged friends and hopefully becoming someone you and your dog can rely on! 🐶❤️

Your dog’s safety and happiness will always be my priority. I want every dog in my care to feel comfortable, relaxed and at home, with plenty of love, attention and reassurance. I’ll take the time to get to know your dog, their personality, routine and individual needs, and I’ll always follow any instructions you leave for me. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll keep you updated and make sure you know how they’re getting on while they’re in my care. As I work from home, your dog will have lots of company throughout the day, as well as plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime and cuddles. I’ll always treat your dog as I would want someone to treat my own — with patience, kindness and lots of care. ❤️🐶

Before looking after your pet, I’d love to know as much as possible about their normal routine and personality so I can make them feel comfortable and settled. This includes their feeding and walking routine, toilet habits, sleeping arrangements, likes and dislikes, and how they usually behave around people and other dogs. It’s also really important for me to know about any allergies, medication, dietary requirements, fears, nervous behaviours or anything else that could affect their care. I’d like to know what helps them feel safe and happy, as every dog is different. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have and would much rather you tell me too much than not enough! The more I know about your dog beforehand, the easier it is for me to give them the care they’re used to and make their stay as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. 🐾
A typical day
As I work from home, my days are quite flexible, which means I can give your dog plenty of attention and company throughout the day. I’ll start the day with a morning toilet break and walk, followed by breakfast if needed, before settling down to work. Throughout the day, I’ll make time for toilet breaks, play, cuddles and another walk around my work schedule. I’m happy to adapt this depending on your dog’s usual routine and energy levels — some dogs love lots of activity, while others are perfectly happy having a cosy nap nearby while I work! Once I’ve finished work, I’ll have plenty of time for longer walks, playtime and attention. My evenings and weekends are generally flexible too, so I can give dogs lots of love and company rather than them feeling like they’re simply being looked after around my schedule. 🐶❤️

My Experience 🐾 I have experience caring for dogs in a home environment, including looking after dogs while their owners are at work, taking dogs on walks and staying overnight at people’s homes while they are away on holiday. Although I haven’t worked professionally as a pet sitter before, I have been trusted by friends, family and people I know to look after their dogs, and I have been paid for some of these stays and visits. I really enjoy spending time with dogs and have experience making sure they are happy, comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every dog is different, so I’m happy to follow their usual routine, including walks, feeding, playtime, company and any other care they need. I also know how important it is for owners to feel reassured when they’re away, so I’m always happy to keep you updated with photos and messages. I’m now looking forward to offering this service more regularly through Rover and building relationships with new dogs and their owners. 🐶❤️

HIGHLY RECCOMENDED! Zoe has dog sat my boy Toby (Red Fox Lab) on a number of occasions and its safe to say he adores her. Zoe has become his best buddy, play friend and favourite pillow (despite him being the same size as her!) She sends regular photo messages to keep me up to date with how and what he's doing through the day. Best sitter I've had and he gets to stay in his own home rather than a day care or kennel. Cant thank you enough Zoe!
