Full Time Pet Caregiver &Bestfriend

I’ve loved animals since I was a child and have been a proud pet parent to my Shih Tzu, Oreo, for the past 15 years, and my beautiful rescue calico cat, Sage, who’s now 3. They are my everything, and my love for them extends to all pets. Since I was fifteen, I’ve cared for, pet-sat, and trained over 1,500 dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and sizes! My experience includes overnight boardings and sittings, drop-in visits, recurring walks, weekly runs, administering medical care, and more. I’ve worked with a wide range of animals—including reptiles—and have been a full-time caregiver for over five years, both independently and alongside pet-sitting companies. I’m thrilled to now dedicate all my time to what I love most: bonding with and caring for your fur babies! I’ve often been referred to as a “dog whisperer” because of my almost magical connection with dogs, and I can’t wait to connect with yours!

Zoe was amazing with Hazel! Hazel had to wear a cone the whole visit from a recent infection and Zoe took amazing care of her! Hazel can be timid at first and Zoe was patient and Hazel warmed up to her very fast because of Zoe’s calming behavior and expert knowledge of how to deal with anxious pups. By the end of the stay they were best friends. Would recommend Zoe to anyone and everyone.

We feel completely confident leaving our dog and our home in Zoe’s care. We hear lovely things from the doorperson who witnesses their interactions in our absence. Highly recommend.

Zoe was really wonderful with staying with our dog over a long weekend. Our dog can be wary and slow to warm up to new humans and Zoe was professional and gentle in her approach and doing several intro walks to build comfort and trust. Zoe sent daily updates and was communicative while we were away and we returned to a happy pup.

Zoe watched our rambunctious pup for a weekend while we were out of town after only meeting him the week before and it went great! Really appreciated her taking the time to meet him before and all of the communication. Zoe clearly is fantastic with dogs.

Zoe is so genuine and was so thorough with the questions she asked about my girls before our booking. She stayed on top of everything and ensured my girls were very well taken care of! She is extremely communicative and available for any and all questions and updates. Not to mention she was available last minute and even made it a point to still do a meet and greet even though it was less than 24 hours before our booking! I'm so glad I chose Zoe!

Schedule

I work as a full time Caregiver for all pets! So I'm primarily available for your pet as needed & I am more than willing to adjust my schedule to fit your pets needs. However, if there's any scheduling conflicts, my partner J whose also an experienced sitter always helps me with my clients. They work from home, so your pet will always have someone home with them to keep them company.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a one bedroom apartment very close to Prospect Park. My living room is very spacious for them to run around and play, and the park is only a 5 min walk away - great for any extra exercise they may need. I try to maintain the usual schedule and lifestyle that your pet has at home with you. So, just leave me with all the details and I'll do my best to mirror their typical routines at home. The same applies if I'm staying in your home. Whatever the pet needs to be completely comfortable while your away, is my priority.

Pets

A typical day

I love going to dog parks or any parks really to play with the pups! It gives me a chance to get a good sense of their personality, and bond with them. Once I assess what they like we'll do that! Whether it's fetch, just a nice leisurely stroll, or chasing after squirrels we will always have a blast no matter what!

No breed preferences, I love all breeds and all sizes! I would like to know their age, their breed so I can prepare the necessary adjustments, their medical needs ( ie. Allergies, health issues, how much activity can they handle etc.) their triggers ( ie. What makes them scared or excited or what would make them pull on the leash etc.) and i would also ask if the owner had any special requests, like how to greet him or her, what names to call them etc.)
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
