A typical day
I would walk your dog on a nearby trail or, where they might be most familiar. I have walked dogs along the pathways of Jackson Creek Park, as well as the Trans Canada Trail. I am familiar with a few fenced in, low traffic, public areas I have used to allow my foster dog the freedom to run and play. I am open to exploring new areas and trails. I would respect any owner input into their level of comfort and the path that is best suited to their dog.

Hi! My name is Zoë, I am a huge animal lover and have a passion for working with them. I’ve spent the past 6 years working in various animal care settings, including a veterinary hospital and an animal shelter. Currently, I am a Rescue Coordinator for a nonprofit French Bulldog Rescue, where I also foster dogs, one of which is a paraplegic pup. This experience has made me especially comfortable working with special needs animals. I have hands-on experience with conditions such as IVDD, urinary and fecal incontinence, and I’m confident in administering medications. I’m comfortable with both small and large breeds. l have three cats, 1 dog, and a rabbit of my own, so I truly understand how important your pets are. My schedule is flexible, and I’m available for both short-term and long-term care. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I am in the Peterborough/Selwyn area.

Zoe took wonderful care of Luna while we were away on our camping trip. She made sure Luna got plenty of bio breaks, outdoor time, and walks, and kept us updated with messages if there were any concerns or just to let us know how things were going. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Luna was in such caring hands. Zoe is compassionate, professional, and genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. It was especially sweet to hear about Luna wanting to say hello to some kids she saw on a walk—it was clear Zoe paid attention to her personality and enjoyed spending time with her. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog and really appreciated Zoe's excellent communication throughout the stay. Best cat sitter I ever had. My cats love her more than they love me!
Zoe was great with Obi! Played with him, fed him, tired him out. Really appreciated Zoe’s flexibility when I wanted to change length of visit time and she always responded quickly. Glad to know Zoe and next time Obi needs a friend for a bit will be hoping she is available 😊
