Schedule I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to dedicate time, attention, and love to the pets I care for. I am available to provide boarding in my home Monday through Sunday, so I can welcome dogs throughout the week as well as on weekends. During the week, I am available from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the dogs in my care. I like to organize each pet’s day around their normal routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime, exercise, rest, and any special instructions provided by their owners. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and set of needs, so I am happy to adapt their routine and provide the individual attention they need. My goal is for every pet staying with me to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and like part of the family, while their owners can feel confident knowing their dog is receiving plenty of care and attention throughout the day.

About Zoé T.

Safety, trust & environment

The safety and well-being of every pet in my care are always my top priorities. I live in a secure, gated community that is fully fenced and equipped with security cameras. We have a completely enclosed dog park where dogs can safely play and enjoy themselves, as well as an open area within the community where they can run, play, and get plenty of exercise under supervision. We also have a designated area where I can bathe dogs when needed. During their stay, dogs may also have the company of Mila, my Bernedoodle. Mila is a very friendly, loving, and gentle dog who is part of our family. She is currently my emotional support dog and is also in training to become a service dog. She loves being around other dogs and can be a wonderful companion. However, I always respect each dog’s personality, comfort level, and their owner’s instructions, so any interaction with Mila is supervised and only happens when it is appropriate and approved by the owner. I always follow each owner’s instructions and preferences regarding feeding, walks, playtime, rest, medication, and activities. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to get to know each pet and help them feel comfortable, calm, and happy. When we go for walks outside the community, safety always comes first. I use an appropriate leash based on each dog’s size, strength, and behavior, and I never leave a pet unattended. I am also very careful around doors, gates, and entrances to prevent accidental escapes. If an owner allows their dog to visit a dog park or participate in certain activities, I always follow their preferences and instructions. I have cared for dogs of many different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, both in Ecuador and here in the United States. I love taking them on walks, playing with them, teaching them new tricks, and providing activities that keep them physically and mentally engaged. I am also very attentive to their feeding schedules, rest, and any special instructions their families provide. For me, caring for a pet is not simply a service—it is something I genuinely love and something that has been part of my life for many years. I treat every dog in my care as if they were part of my own family. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while they are with me, while giving their owners peace of mind knowing their best friend is staying in a loving, safe, and responsible home.

Information Zoé T. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible about them so I can provide safe, comfortable, and personalized care. I want pet parents to feel completely comfortable sharing any information about their dog, including specific behaviors, fears, anxiety, special needs, or anything that may require extra patience and attention. I would love to know about their normal routine, feeding schedule, energy level, walking habits, favorite activities, and sleeping or resting routine, as well as any medications, medical conditions, allergies, or special needs they may have. It is also important for me to know how they behave around other dogs, people, children, or other animals; whether they have any fears or reactive behaviors; if they tend to try to escape; if they experience separation anxiety; or if there are any situations that may make them uncomfortable or stressed. There is no behavior that would make me judge a pet. On the contrary, knowing these things in advance helps me better understand their personality, anticipate their needs, and handle different situations calmly and responsibly. The more information their family can share with me, the better I can care for their pet and keep their routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. My priority is for every dog to feel safe, understood, respected, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their stay with me.

A typical day

I love keeping dogs active both physically and mentally. To me, a happy dog’s day should include a balance of exercise, playtime, exploration, mental stimulation, relaxation, and lots of love and attention. When dogs are staying in my home, I like to provide them with different toys and activities to keep them entertained and mentally engaged. We can play fetch, use interactive toys, practice simple tricks or commands they already know, and enjoy different activities that allow them to have fun while using their minds. When we go outside, I love giving dogs the opportunity to explore new smells and different surroundings. Walks are not only a way to exercise; they are also a chance for dogs to discover new places, hear different sounds, observe nature, and explore their environment at their own pace. If their owners approve, I also enjoy taking dogs to dog parks or other green spaces where they can run, play, and enjoy a change of scenery. Depending on each dog’s personality and energy level, we can play fetch, use different dog toys, or simply let them explore and relax. I can also take them to visit different dog parks and nearby places, always following their owners’ instructions and prioritizing their safety. A typical day might start with a morning walk and some time to explore, followed by breakfast and a period of rest. Throughout the day, we would have different opportunities for play, mental stimulation, training, and one-on-one attention. We would also have another walk or visit to a green space, if permitted by their owners, along with plenty of quiet time and rest so they don’t become overstimulated. I believe every dog is different. Some dogs love to run and play constantly, while others prefer calm walks, sniffing activities, toys, training, or simply relaxing and receiving affection. My goal is for every pet to have a fun, enriching day that matches their personality and needs while feeling safe, comfortable, and loved.

Pet care experience

Pet Care Experience Since I was 16 years old, I have had the opportunity to care for dogs belonging to family members, friends, and neighbors, and animals have been an important part of my life ever since. I am originally from Ecuador, where I cared for dogs of many different breeds and sizes, including Huskies, German Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, and many others. I was responsible for their walks, feeding, playtime, exercise, and basic training. I have always loved teaching dogs new tricks, keeping them mentally stimulated, and, most importantly, taking the time to understand and respect each dog’s unique personality. My experience with animals goes far beyond caring for pets belonging to family and friends. In Ecuador, I was also actively involved in rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned animals. I helped create a rescue organization called Patitas Felices, through which we rescued more than 150 dogs from the streets. Each dog came with a different story, personality, and set of needs. Some were calm, friendly, and affectionate, while others had experienced difficult situations and needed extra patience, understanding, and time to learn to trust people. Through this experience, I learned a great deal about canine behavior and the importance of treating every dog as an individual. I also participated in spay and neuter campaigns and helped collect donations of dog food, treats, and other supplies for different rescue organizations and animals in need. These experiences taught me how to be patient, observant, and adaptable, especially when caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. When I moved to the United States three years ago, I adopted Mila, my Bernedoodle, and she has been a very important part of my life ever since. I have dedicated a lot of time to her care, education, and training. Mila knows how to sit, lie down, shake paws, stand on two legs, and even dance! I have also had the opportunity to care for dogs of different breeds and sizes here in the United States, including dogs who have stayed overnight in my home. I love keeping dogs active, happy, and mentally stimulated. I enjoy going on walks, playing, practicing new tricks, and, when their owners approve, visiting dog parks. I also make sure to respect each dog’s feeding schedule, daily routine, individual needs, and any special instructions provided by their family. To me, caring for a pet means much more than simply feeding them and taking them for walks. It means getting to know them, understanding their personality, respecting their boundaries, and helping them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. After so many years of sharing my life with dogs and helping animals in need, I have learned that every dog is different and that they all deserve patience, kindness, and respect. My goal whenever I care for a pet is for their family to feel completely comfortable knowing that their dog is in a safe, loving, and caring environment where they will be treated like part of my own family.

Zoé is truly someone I would trust with any pet without hesitation. She has a natural ability to make animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable, even when they are in an unfamiliar environment. She is responsible, patient, attentive, and genuinely invested in their well-being. She doesn't simply “watch” pets, she takes the time to understand their personalities, routines, and individual needs. What makes Zoé stand out is the love and attention she gives so naturally. She treats every animal as if they were part of her own family, making sure they receive plenty of affection, playtime, and care. I have personally seen how much compassion she has for animals, and I know any pet in her care would be in wonderful hands. I would recommend Zoé to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving, and dependable pet caregiver.
