Safety, trust & environment

I have a fully fenced in yard and allow my own dogs to spend as much time outside as they want. I can crate your dog if requested, I do have crates here but you are welcome to bring your own. There is a dog bed in every room of the house and dogs are allowed on the furniture as well (unless you rather them not be) Both of my dogs are older so they loungers when we are at home but still have the energy to play and run. If you have a younger energetic dog they can make good playmates but if you have a senior who just wants to hang out they are good at matching that same energy.

Home

Lives on a farm/ranch
Has a fenced yard

Dogs allowed on furniture

Information Zoe S. would like to know about your pet

I'd love to know what your dog is like and what their care routine is. Do they like to go on walks? What is their feeding routine? Do they need medicine? Are they anxious/nervous? Are they allowed on furniture? Where do they like to sleep? Do they need to be crated? Do they get along with other dogs? Are they allowed off leash? Do they listen well off leash? How are they around livestock (chickens, horses, etc)? Anything else you'd like to share?

A typical day

I have tons of enrichment toys that we like to use when we can't get out into the yard and are feeling cooped up. I take my own dogs on outings whenever I can, mostly to places where they can run off-leash in a new environment. If your dog has a good recall and this is something you feel comfortable letting me take them on while they are with me then I would love to. But I understand if you prefer them to stay at our house their whole stay.

Pet care experience

Your trustworthy + reliable dog and pet sitter. Your pup will love running around or relaxing in the shade on our fully fenced 2.5 acres. I've always been the friend that gets asked if I can dog sit and being a good caretaker for people’s pets has been a huge passion of mine for the past decade. My animals are my family and I will treat yours the same. I've taken care of every type of critter from horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, cats, and of course dogs. I have 2 dogs myself that get along great with others. One of my dogs has a medical condition so I know from personal experience it can be scary having a stranger watch your dog. I have extensive experience with high-energy dogs, e-collars, whistle training, positive reinforcement training, and dealing with dogs with extensive medical needs. I never take on more than one client at a time so your dog has all the attention it needs and also isn't overwhelmed by a house full of other dogs.

Zoe was AMAZING! This was our first time using rover and Zoe made us feel very comfortable with leaving our dog in her care. She was very responsive and made sure to send us updates with photos of our dog and we could tell she was being well taken care of. Will definitely recommend Zoe to anyone in the area and definitely use her again in the future! Thank you Zoe for loving our girl while we were gone!

Zoe was great to work with, and she and her doggies welcomed my pup Niko into their home. She took great care of him, and she took plenty of pictures of him during his doggie day care stay with her so that we could see how he was doing. Thank you, Zoe!
