My schedule is currently clear aside from other sittings. When I'm at home I hang out with my family's cat and two dogs, who I help care for and keep entertained.

I find caring for pets to be highly specific to the individuals' routines and needs. During the meet and greet, I'll probably ask about what your daily routine looks like and how I can best maintain that stability for your buddy while you're away. I'll want to know about details like areas in the home that your pet could escape through or hurt themselves in, any current training/adjusting I could help with, and any favorite toys or games they might have. Be as detailed as you want, I couldn't possibly learn too much about your pet when it comes to their care.

Does your buddy have any sort of depression, anxiety, etc? If so, please tell me how you help them feel at ease in case my usual gentle friendliness won't work. Do they have any allergies or conditions I need to be aware of? How much exercise do you want your pet to be getting while in my care? Are you currently training your baby, and do you want me to start/continue that training while I'm with them? Do they have treats available that I can reward them with for good behavior, and if so is there a limit to how many they should get per day? I usually give just one and then lots of pets and love. Do they have specific commands for basic things, such as a release command to eat or exit the home?
A typical day
Does your pet have any favorite games? If so, please let me know! I'll play anything your pet already knows and loves, be it tag, fetch, tug of war, chase the string, tube racing, all are great! I'm also great at doggie wrestling and intense petting for the rambunctious ones. When it's not time for meals, medicine/walks (if applicable), or fun, if my job is to stay with them then I'll simply be part of their environment; available if they need me and not bothering them if they don't want me to.

Pet care experience
I grew up around animals and have always loved them like family. I'm extremely passionate about providing you and your furbabies the best experience possible! I'm very attentive to directions given to me about your dog's care, as well as to their needs and behavior. I get along very well with all kinds of dogs and will be a great playmate and an excellent cuddler for them. I am kind, gentle and loving, and so have a knack for bringing timid animals out of their shells. I'm considering taking the first steps towards being an animal behaviorist, so I'll take any training assignments very seriously (while still making it a blast for your pet, of course). In the past I've been able to train my parents' hyper and somewhat skittish dog to allow handling of her paws for nail trims in less than 5 full days of a visit.

Zoe was wonderful with taking care of our two golden retrievers. Great communication and sent plenty of updates with how our girls were doing. We will definitely book with her again!
Zoe stayed for 2.5 weeks in my house with our dog and cat. She was super communicative and on top of it- she thought of things I didn’t think about such as if my animals got worried or stressed during thunderstorms or fireworks (it was over the 4th). I initially contacted her 2 months before our trip and just days after having a baby. Needless to say I couldn’t keep two thoughts in my head and kept forgetting to check in with Zoe to set up the meet and greet. Thankfully she was super on top of it and kept in touch with me until I finally found time to set up the meeting. She is super down to earth and a very clear communicator. My animals immediately loved her- you can tell she truly loves animals. Lastly, when we came home, the house was spotless and maybe even cleaner than we left it! We will definitely be booking her for future trips!
Zoe was great! Lots of communication and she took great care of our pups. She was even willing to run back to our house to save a package from the rain for me when it came later than expected!
