I’ve been pet sitting for about 4 years and working as a Veterinary Assistant for 2 years. I’m currently in school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician at UC! I have always loved cats and have never lived without one. I currently have two of my own that I treat like royalty. I’m trained to administer oral medication, insulin, subcutaneous fluids, and inhalers. Whether your cat is a zooming baby or a sleepy senior, I’m here to give them the best care! My top priority is the safety, security, and comfort of your cat. Identifying what cats are comfortable with is very important to me. The most memorable thing I’ve been taught clinically is the fear-free approach towards cat care: dim lights, calm voices, gentle touch, etc. As someone who has never lived without a cat, these were common sense to me, but watching others treat them the same as dogs brought cat education to my attention. Every cat has its own personality, quirks, and boundaries and I will always respect them and treat them as my own!
