If your pets have any anxieties or issues with new people, that is very helpful to know beforehand. Any medications needed or particular things regarding feeding. I like to know their typical routine or what they are used to doing. If your pet is an escape artist, a heads up is fantastic!
A typical day
I love going on walks and typically go around the neighborhood where they are familiar. If your pets like to play with toys, I definitely will play with them! I also of course enjoy cuddling and giving love to them so they don’t feel so lonely!

Pet care experience
I have been pet-sitting through Rover for about 7 years now. I graduated in 2022 with a pre-vet animal science degree from Andrews University. Originally I was wanting to become a vet, but decided that role wasn’t for me. I have also spent 8 months learning dog behavior after my graduation. I just recently moved to Charlotte with my husband but prior to moving, I was working at a veterinary clinic as a receptionist and vet assistant! I recently got a job as a veterinary receptionist here in Charlotte and my schedule is 12:30-6 pm M-F. I love interacting with all animals and have plenty of experience with dogs, cats, goats, sheep, cows, chickens, and even more! I have been around animals all my life and feel they are such an important aspect to life. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

Zoe is very responsive and has great communication before, during and after her visits! She’s also flexible (if her schedule allows) - we originally agreed for her to visit at a certain time and then subsequently asked her to visit at a different time to bring an important package inside and luckily her schedule allowed her to do so and she was very open to the change of plans which we greatly appreciated! Zoe has been absolutely amazing! She paid attention to every detail and carefully followed all of my requests. After each visit, she provided thoughtful and detailed updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. My cats warmed up to her right away and were always excited to see her. I can’t recommend Zoe enough and will absolutely be booking with her again in the future!
Zoe was incredibly thorough, helpful, communicative, and a joy to work with! She took lovely care of my cat, made sure she had a perfect long weekend, and helped put my mind at ease while traveling. I would absolutely rebook Zoe without a second thought!
