I am a respectful, dependable, and experienced pet sitter who recently relocated to the DFW area after pet sitting in another city. I understand how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with both your pets and your home. I prefer to have a meet and greet before all new bookings so I can get to know you and your pets and go over their normal routine, care instructions, home instructions, emergency contacts, and anything else you would like taken care of while you’re away. I also only take on one client at a time so there is no overlap in care and your pets receive as much of my attention as possible. Every client receives daily photo updates so you can see how your pets are doing while you’re away! MORE ABOUT ME: I graduated from Texas Tech University with my bachelor’s degree in biology and originally planned to pursue veterinary medicine. I later decided to switch career paths and am now studying nursing at Baylor University. While I may be learning to take care of humans now, my love for animals has never changed. At Texas Tech, I completed animal-related coursework and participated in research involving animals, which gave me additional experience observing animals closely and paying attention to changes in their behavior and condition. Between that background, nursing school, and years of caring for my own pets and other people’s pets, I am very attentive to the individual needs of every animal in my care. MY EXPERIENCE: I have experience caring for puppies and kittens, adult pets, and senior dogs and cats. I have bottle fed kittens, cared for a neighborhood cat colony, and cared for pets with more involved needs, including special diets, blindness, medications, and insulin injections. I am also happy to help with feeding, walks, bathing, basic training reinforcement, medications, and whatever else is part of your pet’s normal routine. HOUSE SITTING & DROP-IN CARE: When caring for pets in your home, I treat your home with the same respect and attention I would want someone to give my own. In addition to caring for your pets, I can bring in mail and packages, water plants, take trash and recycling out on the appropriate days, and keep an eye on the property while you’re away. I make sure doors, gates, and entry points are secured and am happy to follow any specific home or security instructions you provide. Whether I’m staying in your home, stopping by for a drop-in visit, or taking your dog for a walk, my goal is for you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing that your pets are well cared for and your home is being looked after. Big or small, I love them all. Taking care of animals has never felt like just a job to me. It is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to.
